We were travelling back to London from the Olympics and needed to stay in Calais to get Le Shuttle early the next day. We were worried about the lack of parking, and had put a note in the booking asking for a parking space. When we arrived we were told it was full, but when I gave my name they said that one of the spaces had been reserved for us (a €15 charge) - great :-). The room itself (216) was wonderful - it was on two levels with two single beds upstairs and a double bed / bathroom downstairs. Lots of windows and air conditioning too! Breakfast started at 6.00, which was great as we needed to leave at 6.30. A wonderful spread with an orange juice squeezing machine, a range of cheeses, pastries, breads, cereals, eggs to boil - a really good range. If our travel plans brought us to Calais again I'd book this hotel in a heartbeat.

PPengguna TetamuThis would be a 5* review if residents were stopped from smoking on the fire escapes at the end of the corridors. This results in the corridors smelling badly of cigarette smoke. Also fairly noisy with the fire doors opening and closing constantly. Fire escapes are simply that and not smoking areas. On the positive side this hotel is very clean with comfortable beds. The little bathroom has a good shower. The staff were very polite and helpful both at check in and check out. The car parking is free and secure which is a massive benefit when travelling with a car full of personal belongings. Stop the smoking on the fire escapes and you will change the poor reviews.

MMaria NizwaThis is an old hotel, parking is along the public road but the spacious, clean room and comfortable beds make up for it. We booked this hotel for our ferry to Dover the next morning, location is very convenient with so many good outlets just a couple of minutes away and near the ferry dock. Will stay again.

TTatianaLa ubicación es bastante buena pero me hicieron esperar más de media hora para poder ingresar a mi habitación y era la única en la fila. las instalaciones huelen demasiado a cigarrillo, solo pasé una noche pero tuve que comprar un aromatizante. Todo estaba limpio y el desayuno fue tipo buffet, para mí estuvo bien el desayuno. pero deben solucionar el olor a cigarrillo del edificio ya que para personas que no fuman puede volverse bastante incómodo.
