Hotel Maafushi dengan Gim

I would give it 5 stars, but I won’t. The reason? I booked a seaview room to enjoy evenings on the balcony. At the moment it is 11 pm and just bellow our balcony there is such a loud (also bad and repetitive) music that our windows are shaking. Actually there are 10 people dancing(see photo) and half of the island suffering because of this nonsense. We also have early flight in the morning so who knows when this is gonna end so we can go to sleep. This is definitely not a place if you came to Maldives to relax. Otherwise clean place, friendly staff and good for exploring surrounding islands on day trips.

We stayed as a family for 3 nights in the quadruple room which was spacious enough for 2 adults and 3 children to sleep comfortably. The quadruple rooms do not face the sea. The condition of the room is excellent and the hotels seems to be well maintained. Service wise, the staff are generally polite. The breakfast had limited options. Be warned, the cats literally dine with you in the restaurant and it appears to be a problem across the island. The beach is nice although it is not maintained as it should be. There were plenty of sun beds available. Water sports are very reasonably priced compared to average prices in Maldives. Overall, pleasant stay.

We chose Como Cocoa for our 6th visit to Maldives, quite skeptical at first wondering if we’re going to get bored staying at such a small island - but we’re wrong.. days went by so quickly since there were various activities we could do. I’d say the snorkeling at Cocoa was magnificent, our favorite was the Como Reef, also Cocoa has the softest, powdery sand I’ve ever stepped on in Maldives. It’s indeed such a magical place. We love love our 1-bedroom villa, it has a minimalist design but offers a homey feeling plus with the amazing views both in the front and back of the villa. Also our stay wouldn’t be this amazing without the roles of the warm & friendly staff at Como Cocoa, especially Mr. Wisam for solving the problem we had whilst staying there, as well as his ability to greet guests by their names and talk to them daily. And of course big thanks to our butler, Nattey, who’s able to remember and meet our requests and who always had smiles on his face; not to forget Chef Dika with his exceptional culinary skills.

From the moment we stepped on maafushi we were welcomed from the hotel . A buggy was a couple of step away and our luggages were taken care of. With a little quick island tour we were taken to the hotel and the checkin process was so smooth . It was great service from Sachin from reception to make it all happen . Seeing his smile was enough to make all our worries go away . The room was excellent quality and the amenities were more than enough for our short stay . Truly amazing view of the ocean at the 5th floor with a balcony filled with privacy . I observed how other hotels had constructed their balcony but triton prestige went beyond expectation for privacy. The next day we planed to go to the beach and staffs understood and guided us to the beach and also assisted with the best and the most comfortable sun-bed from the whole beach . There are so many staffs around and attentive. The breakfast also had amazing options and staff were attentive as well . Monir was one of the best server there he knew me and he was always smiling and engaging . Even-though i came late to breakfast he didnt show any frustration kept his smile from his heart and it really meant alot . And to even sum it up we had like 2 hours after check out still they offered to use their pool facilities and shower as well .. It is very happy to know that they are still in service for us until we take out last steps out of the island . Thank you all for this anticipatory and making this trip memorable .

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and it was pretty disappointing…. As soon as we got to the room the sink was leaking, the safe was not working and the hotel is very worn down… it needs a serious paint job and furniture upgrade. Went to the reception and they sent someone to “fix” the sink… after waiting g for a while and calling they finally sent a person to fix the safe but we wasted like an hour to fix the sink and operate de safe box! That night it was hard to sleep as the bed was a hard as a rock and when I went to the bathroom in the middle of the night there were Cockroaches…. The next morning I talked to them as the sink was leaking again, and to complain about the Cockroaches and to see if they could change our room! They said they would fix the sink again, deep clean and put a thick comforter to make the bed softer. They cleaned but the following night we found more Cockroaches, even more than before…. The curtains are filthy like they have never washed them as well as the bed cushions, the walls need a couple of layers of paint, the hotel is surrounded but many construction site so it’s quite noise and this is the view you get from the pool view room, so save your money! The only good thing about this hotel is that it’s very close to the bikini beach and they can provide beach beds and also the tour we took with them was ok as the people were nice, it was advertised as a 9am-2pm tour but it actually ended at 1pm. If I ever return to the Maldives I will not stay at this hotel as I really dislike cockroaches

I was fortunate to spend two nights at Summer Villa Guest House on Maafushi Island in the Maldives. The staff provided excellent service, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was delicious. They provide a wide range of activities, including water sports, swimming with sharks, snorkelling, and much more. The place is always full due to the excellent service they offer.I highly recommend this place to all my friends. Many thanks to Naseem and his family for their wonderful hospitality. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! I deeply regret recounting a disheartening array of issues during our stay at the hotel: Upon arrival, our assigned room was not only in a state of severe disrepair but also shockingly unclean. Despite a room change, persistent problems like a leaking toilet and malfunctioning air conditioning plagued our experience. Maintenance interventions, notably during planned fishing excursions, only heightened our frustration. Things that were mentioned in the folder are not even true, plus they lied about the constitution that was going on above our room, they promised that it will stop in the weekend but never did. Plus what bothered me was that the towels are not fresh and hygiene is far far from the norm. Dinner, scheduled at 20:00, was hindered by our aversion to spicy Indian cuisine, and the sleeping conditions were marred by disruptive noise, slamming doors, and inconsiderate fellow guests. Efforts to engage with the director for resolution were met with disappointment, as our concerns remained unaddressed. Scheduled activities faced setbacks, with delays and cancellations affecting a half-day excursion and a fishing trip due to a broken engine and adverse weather conditions. The subsequent request for a payment totaling 610 USD seemed disproportionate, leading us to cut our stay short after the second day. The half-day trip to Gulhi Island, conducted on an aged and sluggish boat, offered unappealing surroundings with an unpleasant odor. Promised photographs and videos of our experience were not delivered, intensifying our disappointment. Hand-fishing proved unproductive and induced seasickness amid high waves. Despite these challenges, it's important to commend a responsive woman who earnestly sought to rectify our grievances. Additionally, Mr. K's consistent politeness and assistance, especially in facilitating our return from the hotel to the boat, were notable. Unfortunately, despite these positive interactions, our honeymoon experience concluded on an unsatisfactory note, leaving us profoundly disheartened and dissatisfied with the overall quality of our stay.
