Hotel berhampiran Boat Stop - Rondvaart, The Hague

Real value for money staying in this hotel. And prime location for a family visit to The Hague. Friendly staff and clean room & facilities are always appreciated. Since I used a combination paying cash and loyalty points there was some issues but contacting hotel directly after my stay to sort out the issue was a success, and hotel staff really went the extra mile to sort out my problem. They even contacted Accor customer service for me to sort it out. Extraordinary service which was highly appreciated .

It's a very nice hotel, located in the center of the city. Beautiful design, the rooms are pleasant. The breakfast is good. Those who come with a car are advised not to park in the parking lot below the hotel, because it is expensive. We camped in a parking lot within walking distance (of course after dropping off our luggage at the hotel) on Geest Street 1. We had a less pleasant experience, our daughter felt sick, and they had no idea where to refer us and we were even sent to the emergency which turned out to have been closed for 3 years. So only health, and enjoy.

Great hotel, nice employee, fantastic service, phenomenal experience. I stayed there with a friend for a week, each day we left the hotel at the morning/noon before 11 am. Afterwards we got a cleaned room with new bathtubs and also the kitchen was refilled. The personal was cool. Would like to stay a bit longer

Minibar leer, das übliche Wasser ( als Diamant Member ) nicht auf dem Zimmer Bei der Nachfrage am nächsten Morgen bekam ich die Antwort das es Wasser nur am Anreisetag gibt Die Minibar kann nicht gefüllt werden, weil dafür das Personal fehlt, so die Erklärung des Duty Managers am heutigen Morgen! Die Rezeptionistin war zudem sehr arrogant Ich denke es ist in der Verantwortung des Hotels, dafür sorge zu tragen das bei der Anreise alles stimmt , in unserem Zimmer war jedenfalls nichts Meine Frage warum man eigentlich kein Willkommens Geschenkt gibt, wurde damit beantwortet, das man zu viele Diamant Member hat und dies nur bei Gästen macht die mehr als 5 Tage bleiben Wir hatten ein Upgrade bekommen, aber nur in ein Zimmer mit Blick zum Innenhof obwohl alle Zimmerkategorien frei waren Begründung….. zu viele Diamant Member Ich denke Hilton versteht den Begriff Honors selbst nicht mehr Beschämend finde ich aber, dass nach meiner Beschwerde bei Duty Manager, noch nicht einmal eine einfache Entschuldigung von Seiten des der Hotel Leitung kam Offensichtlich hat das Hotel es nicht nötig Ich für meinen Teil werde das Hotel nicht mehr besuchen und kann es auch nicht weiter empfehlen The price for the room had been more then 300 Euro ! I love Novotel as a chain, and have stayed at this hotel before and was quite happy. This time I felt things were a little off and I wasn't as satisfied. I seem to recall getting a free bottle of water in the room, which it appears is not included anymore. No more individual shower gels and soaps, but now big pumps of soap, which is OK if you have the complete set of them. Yes, it's more environmentally friendly but it's also a sign of cost-cutting. Breakfast was more or less the same -- good choice and quality -- except on a busy weekend they seemed totally overwhelmed and people had to queue to get a table. On a quieter morning, I noticed a sign stating one can request omelettes and poached eggs from the kitchen, so I did, and this dish never materialized, which was a little awkward. The fresh orange juice machine is awful: constant noise and queues of people taking ages to each make one glass of juice, as it requires that the user slice the orange and then ram each half, one at a time, into the machine, yielding a tiny amount of juice. Repeat for 6 or 7 oranges to get a glass... It would be funny to watch as slapstick if it weren't so annoying to listen to. On the positive side, the rooms are still attractive, comfortable, and quiet.

I reserved a hotel with bath inside the room. When we arrived it was farely busy in the hotel due to the check in times. We waited for 20 minutes to check in and were told we got upgraded to a wellness room with a sauna. We took a walk along the beach which is litteraly in front of the hotel and we enjoyed a nice jacuzzi and sauna the rest of the evening. With a stunning view along the beach and city. Yes it was pricey! And parking in front of the hotel is 25€ per day or 6,50€ per hour which is really expensive (the hotel cant do anything about the parking fees because of the government, but maybe public transport is an option for you) Pricey, but absolutely worth every penny. And dont forget you get access to their own wellness included with your room!

Wir sind ganz spontan (einen Tag vorher gebucht) in den Niederlanden angekommen und zusammen mit unserem Hund eingecheckt. Der Empfang war sehr nett und im Zimmer stand schon eine Hundeschale mit Ball und Leckerlies bereit. -Ach so, wir waren im Erdgeschoss im Altbau untergebracht. Die Zimmergröße war ok. Allerdings fehlt jegliche Ablagefläche für einen Koffer und einen Schrank gab es auch nicht, lediglich ein offenes Regal mit ein paar Kleiderbügeln. Auch im Bad gab es lediglich 2 Haken für Handtücher und leider gab es im Bad auch keine Heizung....das war ordentlich kalt. Leider waren auch Flecken in der Bettwäsche vorhanden, ich vermute mal, die sind bei der Wäsche nicht rausgegangen...nicht schön. Die Betten sind nicht gerade bequem, aber wir sind ansonsten Wasserbettschläfer, denke da sind wir verwöhnt. Der Außenbereich war etwas ”schrammelig”, die Leihfahrräder lagen mehr oder weniger vor der Tür im Dreck. -Eigentlich alles Sachen, die man mit sehr wenig Aufwand etwas ansprechender gestalten könnte. Ja, ich kann meinen Vorrednern nur zustimmen, es ist sehr hellhörig. Unschlagbar ist aber die Lage, ca. 100 m und da ist man schon am Strand und zum Pier sind es vielleicht 5 bis 10 Minuten Fußweg. -Aber hey, wir haben für 2 Nächte 180 € gezahlt und ich denke, dass Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt und ich will nicht groß meckern. Das Frühstück kann ich nicht beurteilen, wir waren auswärts frühstücken. Da wir zum Glück Superwetter hatten und sowieso nur zum duschen und schlafen da waren, war es für mich echt ok und konnte damit leben. -Ich denke, es ist wirklich nur was für Leute, die nur kurz da bleiben wollen. Für einen längeren Zeitraum ist das Hotel leider ungeeignet.

+ Very close to beach but still quiet, you only hear doors opening but no sound from the street. The lady checking me was super friendly and warm. Great value deal for Scheveningen. - The air circulation system is loud, if you turn it off then you get smells in your room of other toilets and smokers outside. This is inconvenient seeing as you can't open the windows. Also, cleaning could be better, the remote and TV were sticky and there was dust in certain corners.

A large hotel, conveniently situated close to the station, and also the centre of Leiden. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and pleasant, and the bed comfortable. At a very reasonable price too! I would certainly stay here again if I return to lovely Leiden. Definitely Recommended.
