Staff members are well dressed with impeccable manners. The service is excellent, their anticipation of client needs is outstanding. I have sciatica and they brought a bath chair to my room within 15 minutes of check-in. When they realized the next day that it wasn't really what I needed, they immediately brought a small stool. Incredible, I never expected such caring service. The room is classy, with a wood / glass book-case. It is very clean. They provide pajamas and a warm shawl, just in case you wish to walk outside and feel cold. The couch is comfortable and besides a desk, they also provide seating for two at a separate table. My friend and I enjoyed room-service breakfast every morning - we stayed for 4 nights. The onsen and bath area is spacious with plenty of amenities. Beds are comfortable and pillows lean towards the soft side. Lighting is good. From my balcony, I can see the Koi pond with some beautiful. colorful fish. Very relaxing. Meals are well thought out with 3 different menu choices. The basic menu, a ”medium” menu and the full menu. The basic menu is sufficient for our appetite, though we tried the full menu the last evening - it was delightful but a bit filling. Wine list not big but sufficient for a couple of nights' stay. This is a quiet space with a classic atmosphere. Therefore, anyone wishing for a move lively atmosphere might wish to consider another venue. However, if relaxation and good spa treatments are what you want, it is wonderful. My friend and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys good food with onsen baths, relaxation, a beautiful tree-lined garden and great service.

服務：有兩名中國店員會說中文，服務態度很好，有接送服務，但是需要提前預定，接送範圍衹有到蘆之湖和車站。 環境：環境非常好，日式房可以直接看到蘆之湖，但是上山的路是真的很難，公交的話間隔半小時，而且如果自己走上去需要看路牌，公交站到酒店那段路是沒有信號的，無法用導航，比較適合喜歡登山或者冒險的吧，因為真的很高，恐高的不建議自己走。 衛生：客廳和住房打掃的都很乾凈，有被套的但是需要注意的事需要自己鋪，不使用被套的話可能會被收取額外費用，但是畢竟是在山上所以會有一些蟲子，比如小蜘蛛。 設施：溫泉的話男女分開的，有兩個池子，室內室外都有，沒什麼區別，就是室外的話晚上會有被燈光吸引的蟲子。房間內是沒有洗浴的，是和溫泉在一起的，以及進口處的玄關是需要拖鞋進入的（特指日式房)，旁邊有飲料機。

Excellente expérience ! Ryokan spacieux, très propre, avec un très bon niveau d équipements. Nous avons aimé : porter les yukatas pour aller au onsen, découvrir un dîner traditionnel de fête, retrouver notre chambre avec futons installés. Situation très proche de togendai et lac. Nous recommandons.

2020年現在、日本ではGoToキャンペーンが行われており、我が家もGoToを利用して一泊させて頂きました。 普段会員制の決まったホテルの利用が多かったので、今回は初めてのホテルで不安な気持ちでチェックインしました。 結論から書くと、大変満足です。満足ゆえ、体験した事実をありのまま以下に書きます。 まず建物は古く、全体にビンテージ臭があります。今回、空きがそこしか無かったので山側の和室になりましたが、雰囲気だけでなく、実際に臭いもありました。カビかな？染み付いたタバコかな？禁煙の部屋の筈でしたが。 しかし、障子を開けると案外眺めが良く、眼前のモミジが紅葉していて綺麗。家族から感動の声。 ただし、その障子も近くで見ると桟は埃がいっぱい。もちろん木材はカビてますよ。 家族に見せないように、自分が率先して開け閉めしました。ちなみにカーテン もついていますが、恐ろしくて閉めれなかったです。というか埃とかダニとか降ってきそうで触れなかったです。 また、部屋の壁にはところどころに小さな穴が有ったりします。 そして、感染症対策ではじめから布団が敷いてありますが、これは決してめくってはいけません。濡れ染みが付いた敷布団の裏を見てしまったら、普通の人は寝れなくなるかもしれません。 これも、家族に見せないようにひた隠しにしました。 ここまで書くと、とんでもない所のようですが、実際はそこまでではありません。上記は全て事実ですが、当方小さな子供連れで、暴れ回る子供の世話でいっぱいいっぱい。アレルギー持ちの私以外は、特に気にしていない様子でした。 また、部屋のまずさを帳消しにする要素がたくさんありました。 貸切カラオケ、貸し切り風呂、バースデーサプライズなど、子供は終始大はしゃぎでした。 食事も悪くなく、粗削りだけど気持ち良いサービスだと感じます。スタッフの方は皆さんホスピタリティ有ると思います。 不思議なホテルで、連休中で宿泊客が多い筈なのに、館内が広いせいか、ほとんど人と合わない。大浴場では一人きりで正直こわい。ここでは断然貸し切り風呂をおすすめします。貸し切り風呂はリノベーション的な感じの作りで、清潔感が有り、温泉も最高でした。家族で入れる温泉に幸せを感じます。一泊の滞在中３回入りましたが、いつでも4つのうちどこかしらが空いていて不満なく使えました。 他の方の写真を見ていると、洋室などは綺麗そうなので、和室が未リノベーションなのでしょう。予算が有れば是非改装して頂きたいところですが、オフシーズンは学生さんの合宿などに利用しているのかも知れません。 部屋を変えてリピートしたい、不思議と魅力あるホテルでした。部屋は綺麗でないけどそこに悪意は感じない。やっぱりお安いですし。GoTo差し引いてもコスパは良いのではないでしょうか。 おわり。

irst of all, the hotel is not situated in one of the mainstream locations near Yumoto or Gora. The nearest public transport station is in Ubako or Palace hotel Mae and these would need a pickup from the hotel especially if you have never been there before. Don't expect there will be any convenience stores or any other shops nearby, but you shouldn't need to leave the hotel as it comes with all the drinks, food and services that you will ever need. The hotel is very modern and well furbished. There are not many rooms so at any one time you won't feel crowded at all. There is a common room/bar/lobby where they would serve the welcome drink and do the check-in. Once that is done, the staff would take you to the room and explain to you about the room and how the onsen will work. The beauty of the Private onsen, besides being completely private you could also ”tune” the water temperature. Like a bath, you could add cold water to make it colder, which is not possible in a public onsen. We picked the western room with Mt. Fuji view. At first we could not see the mountain as it was covered behind the clouds. However, on the next day, as soon as we woke up we saw the beautiful Fujisan capped with snow. Taking the onsen with the Mount Fuji as a backdrop was definitely an experience (and the onsen was in a semi-opened area so you could feel the fresh air while taking the onsen) Dining (Both dinner and breakfast) was done at the restaurant instead of at your room. I think that's fine as you get your own ”room”or partition inside the restaurant so you will have complete privacy over the course of your meal. Like all onsen hotels, dinner was a multi-course meal, each used the seasonal ingredients and fully explained in English. (The staff there spoke perfect English and there was no issue in communication.) Other reviewers commented the food was a bit bland but I thought it was fresh and tasty. They even gave you some rice roll for snacks at night if you ever got hungry. Breakfast was also plenty and tasty. The room price is definitely not on the cheap side, but for the spacious room you get, the private onsen and the Mt. Fuji view plus the sumptuous food and the hospitality you get i think it is value for money.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is just a few minutes walk to the Hakone shrine and tori gate on the water and about 15 minutes walk to the town by the water. From the town you can catch the pirate ship or ferry to the base of the cable car and head up the mountain to other attractions. The hotel grounds are lovely and full of pathways lined with Rhododendrum. The rooms are a great size and all have a view of the lake. I stayed on the third floor and in my opinion rooms on the third and fourth floors have a better view but the second floor rooms have a balcony and the first floor rooms have patios. The hotel provides yukatas and all toiletries you might need. The hotel onsen is small but nice and also has an outdoor bath. The hotel spa is very relaxing with a variety of services. I did not have dinner at the property but breakfast was very good. Every staff member I encountered was extremely professional, courteous and friendly. My only complaint is the mattress was very firm and I prefer some thing softer but that is a personal preference.

To be honest, this hotel has probably the most number of English-speaking Japanese staffs out of all the hotels that I’ve stayed in so far! Impeccable service, rather smooth communication and good location within Hakone. The hotel gives off a really relaxing vibe~so if you’re finding somewhere to just chill and soak in all those “zen-ness”, this is it! Just a little tip, the hotel is rather far from the train stations so do arrange for the free shuttle service in advance!

環境很幽静，近桃園台，建議白天找路，可步行约二十分鐘到! 否則建議在覽車站乘的士到！但記住一月一日至八日是日本人的新年，所有交通工具提前下四五点已停運，的士过了六時也很難有! 会失預算! 這酒店算近景点和收費性價比高！房間不多，所以較静，有温泉浸很好! 唯無電梯，需自行搬，但若有困難，職員也很貼心為客搬運行李！

Only stayed one night, which was a pity. Wonderful Japanese dinner and breakfast. Sleeping on comfortable mats was an experience to be savoured. Best of all is the onsen with nice hot bath indoors and slightly cooler one outside. Great staff too.

大学生8人で予約しました。 写真通りの綺麗な家で最高でした！！ キッチンも器具は大体揃っていて料理するのに不自由はなかったです。クレープなどが作れるホットプレートがあるのにもびっくりしました。 お風呂も１階はシャワー室だけでしたが2つあって大人数でも大丈夫でしたし、ベッドも5つありました。 プロジェクターもスマホと繋げてライブ映像を流したり推しのMVを流したりと大満足でした。 もう1ヶ月泊まりたいレベルです。素敵な宿をありがとうございました。
