Environment: It is worth mentioning that the restaurant is facing a tea field, this scene is very characteristic of Longjing, and the restaurant tastes very good

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location, right by West Lake. It's a short walk to Yue Temple pier for boat rides, and the 'Most Memorable Is Hangzhou' show is just a ten-minute journey away. The hotel grounds are quite extensive, but they offer a convenient on-call shuttle service, making it easy to get around. We had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel's buffet restaurant and at Xinxin Hotel; both options were great. The main restaurant at West Lake State Guest House (the hotel) was more spacious with a wider array of food, whereas Xinxin Hotel felt more refined and offered a larger selection of delicate pastries and dim sum. We also visited the former residence where Chairman Mao drafted the constitution. The exhibition hall was meticulously arranged and is definitely worth a visit!

GGuest UserFacilities: Even though it has been more than 20 years, the maintenance level is really good. Although the room is a little old, it does not affect the use at all. If I have to adjust it, it is that the room is a little small and the shower area is a little small.
Hygiene: The hygiene is definitely relatively good among the hotels I have seen. Even in the Sutra Copying Pavilion, the bathroom is quite clean.
Environment: The environment is the highlight here. We hiked for two days in the morning. It is really very good. The air is very good and the ecology is very good.
Service: The housekeeper is the highlight of this trip. I praise Jamie. The arrangement is very considerate. When there is a room, we check in early, so we don’t have to wait too long. All appointments are arranged. Even if we are not so timely sometimes, we can help us arrange it immediately. The baby is not tired at all. The hotel’s various services are very distinctive. It is indeed a good place for meditation and health. Cycling, golf, swimming, Ba Duan Jin, chess, tea picking, and boating are all very good. Looking forward to seeing you next time and having the opportunity to stay in the villa room.

WWulongaihechaMy family and I visited Xixi Wetland during the National Day holiday and stayed in Room 19 of the 'Hushu Guest House.' The 60-square-meter room was spacious and airy, perfect for three people. The decor was a charming Chinese retro style, and the garden landscape was beautiful and serene. Overall, the stay was fantastic! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
🏠 **Indoor Environment:** The room featured an entryway for shoes, a bathroom, a sitting area, a bedroom, and a private outdoor terrace. I loved being able to see the lake directly from the bed – very relaxing. A nighttime soak in the tub was wonderful, with a lovely view outside the window.
💁 **Service:** The butler and all staff members were incredibly polite and enthusiastic. There was a dedicated shuttle service from the North Gate of the wetland. After check-in, the butler thoughtfully explained the hotel's garden design and surroundings, then guided us to our room and detailed its layout. We received complimentary welcome fruit and evening service, and the entire room smelled fragrant and fresh. We also participated in a craft class with an instructor, which was a great experience.
🍃 **Outdoor Environment:** The winding paths were secluded and picturesque. All guest room areas could be accessed via a single loop, so there was no getting lost, and along the way, we experienced various scenic views. The air was fresh, there was abundant greenery, and it was very quiet – even the elderly enjoyed it.
📪 **Minor Drawbacks:** Unfortunately, the complimentary photoshoot service we were offered fell through as the collaborating photographer bailed, so we didn't get to experience that. Also, we forgot to claim the complimentary drinks at the bar.

The double room is spacious, clean and hygienic, with all the necessary items in the room like a hair dryer, a kettle, a fridge, cups, free mineral waters and coffee.
The staffs at the front desk are nice, friendly and helpful, very good in service.
The only problem is that on the last day of my stay, there was a sudden problem with the light in the room. It would automatically go out every 10 mins+, and it would go out completely until the room is completely dark. I would either turn it on manually or call Xiaodu to turn on the light. But this is not only inconvenient but also scary, especially when I'm in the bathroom and suddenly the light went totally off. At first I thought I would check out in a few hours and just bear with it, but then it was too terrifying so I asked the front desk to change my room. Later on, I was told that the entire 9th and 10th floors had this problem and the rooms on these 2 floors were not rented out. (Does that mean I was the only one ”communicating” with the light in the room at the end of the corridor on the 10th floor alone that night? Why didn't you tell me earlier!) Hopefully, it's fixed before renting out the room again, and please make some arrangements for your customers if the similar issue happens again, especially I reported the issue in the afternoon and your engineer came and inspected the problem, you should have known that the issue couldn't be fixed, you can't imagine how scary it was. Anyway, the staffs were still acting quite fast when I finally changed my mind to request to change the room, a guy came and moved my luggage to the 8th floor as per my request.

美中不足的是，在我入住的最后一天，房间的灯突然出了问题，每隔10几分钟就会自动熄灭一次，而且是整个熄灭导致房内漆黑一片。我要嘛就手动打开，或是呼叫小度把灯打开。但这样不仅不方便而且也很可怕，尤其是我在卫生间的时候，突然之间就伸手不见五指。我原本想说还有几个小时就退房就忍一忍，但后来实在可怕还是让前台给我换了房。后来才知道原来9楼10楼都有这样的问题，已经不外租了。（那就是说当晚只有我一个人在10楼？还是在走廊尾部的房间里独自跟灯光在“沟通”？怎么不提早说啊！真把我吓得够呛……）希望问题解决之后才把房间租出去。而且以后如果有类似的事情发生请立即为你们的房客作出安排，尤其我下午已经提出问题，工程师师傅下午就来修理你们就已经知道修不好的情况下，你们无法想象当时的情况有多可怕。不过还好当我改变主意要换房的时候，前台还是行动蛮快的，也按我的要求帮我把行李搬运下8楼。

MM51716****Before booking this room type, I scoured all the reviews but couldn't find a single picture that truly captured how beautiful the 'Supreme Lake View' really is. Having experienced it myself, I'd like to give a heads-up to others considering this room type:
Pictures 1 and 2 show the Supreme Lake View you can get right from the bedroom and living room windows. Pictures 3 and 4 are of the Supreme Lake View directly in front of you when standing on the small patios off the bedroom and living room. Pictures 5 and 6 are of the Supreme Lake View taken from inside the room looking out the window.
Also, if you have any issues, make sure to bring them up *before* checking out. If you raise concerns after checking out, you'll only receive copy-pasted apology notices and empty promises of discounts on a future visit.
And one more thing: if you need anything, reach out to the Trip.com concierge. They genuinely go above and beyond to solve problems.
That's the heads-up. Here's my review of other aspects of the hotel:
The hotel itself is truly beautiful, and the service level is generally good. After all, it often hosts important events, so the staff are seasoned professionals. I didn't experience any 'wow' moments during my stay. The hotel offered a bunch of free activities, but half of them required me to call and book them myself, always needing to call the main line first and then be transferred. This gave me the impression that the hotel's departments operate in silos, completely disconnected from each other. Furthermore, due to the hotel's limited capacity, if you booked too late, you couldn't experience the activity. I spent an evening making three or four calls and couldn't book anything, which was frustrating even before I left the room. On the day of check-in, a staff member finally added me on WeChat, offering to help with reservations. However, it was still based on availability. To sum it up, most of the free activities were impossible to book, while the paid ones were almost always available. So, the service here is just 'okay.' The room's cleanliness was decent, though the bathtub probably wasn't thoroughly cleaned, as there was still a sticker from a previous guest's bath liner on the back.
In conclusion, if you only book a basic room type at this hotel, you'll get a great deal. The hotel's environment is exceptional and genuinely beautiful. Spending less money means lower expectations, and you won't be disappointed.

Whether it is a business trip or a leisure trip, it can save a lot of commuting time. The hotel has its own parking lot, and parking is also very convenient. From the moment you step into the hotel, you can feel the enthusiasm and professionalism of the staff. The receptionist at the front desk is friendly with a smile, and the check-in process is efficient and smooth; the room service is meticulous, whether it is midnight snack delivery or luggage storage, it can respond to needs quickly, and truly make ”guests feel at home”. The overall hygiene of the room is excellent, the bedding is as white as new, and it is changed for each guest, which makes people feel at ease; the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, without water stains and odors, and the quality is reflected in the details. The service attitude of the front desk guy Xiao Cai is very friendly. When checking in, he took the initiative to ask about the room arrangement requirements, and introduced the surrounding travel and midnight snacks. I forgot to bring the charger when I went out, and he took the initiative to lend me his charger. The main draw is how convenient it is for getting around; it's very close to Beishan Street, and both bus stops and subway stations are easily accessible. Overall, it's pretty good. The breakfast was also decent. Before arriving, I added the hotel on WeChat, and Yanie upgraded me to an executive king room for free. Thumbs up!

^^_^lijing^_^Booked the Youngshe Hotel for a concert trip to Hangzhou. The hotel was very clean and the AC worked great – Hangzhou is just too hot this time of year! They also have a laundry room, which was a lifesaver because after a full day out, my clothes were constantly getting wet and then drying again. I'd just throw them in the washing machine at night, and they'd be dry by morning. The front desk staff was very welcoming, and I ended up extending my stay for another night.
Hangzhou is beautiful, and I'd definitely stay here again next time. However, I'm absolutely not coming back in June, July, August, or September – it's just way, way too hot!
