Hotel berhampiran Den Bach Ma di Hanoi

This great hostel is in a great location in the old quarter alongside a busy road. The staff are really good and the check in process is simple and easy. The 6 dorm bed was clean and comfortable and we got some great nights sleeps. There is a bed light, a free locker big enough to store huge backpacks, and a curtain for each bed for privacy. The bathrooms are clean, the showers are hot and powerful, and there is shampoo and shower gel available too. You are also given a free towel at check in. Wi-Fi is great, and there are some relaxing common areas which are great for reading and planning activities etc. Laundry is available at the hostel and they can turn it around in 24 hours (cheapest) or even quicker (pay more). Overall I would absolutely recommend staying here as this hostel really is brilliant.

Had an extremely poor experience with the Hotel for 4 nights. Arrived at the hotel and was told that original booked room air condition spoilt and had to move us to a sister hotel ”Luxury Old Quarter Hotel” which has aircon and agreed. After we checked in we went out for dinner and stayed out till late, only to find that the aircon was weak late at night, at this point was still acceptable. 2nd night the aircondition was unbearable with no wind/cool air coming out of the aircon. We were sweating in the room, the air outside of the room is more cooling than that in the room. Called for help to check on the aircon and the guy said something like when we temperature set is too low (was at 16), the compressor will stop working. And he procceed to set the aircon at 27 degree celcius and asked us to check feel that the aircon has wind now that the temperature is 27 degrees.. woke up sweating lol 3rd day morning we went to feedback about the aircon at the front desk before heading out and they mentioned that they will fix it. When we came back at night (3rd day night), behold -- they were unable to fix because they claim that the aircon service dont work in the evenings (although we feedback early in the morning before 8am). They offered us standing fans and said that they already ordered parts to fix the aircon and it WILL be fixed the next day. 4th day morning when we walked past the front desk in the morning was stopped by them to discuss about the situation.. which now the story has changed again! That they were unable to fix for sure and will offer free transport to the airport if we choose to stay with them on the last night lol.. alternatively we can move to yet another sister hotel that they claim to have aircon. At that point there is no point as our flight is 7am the following day.. was really speechless. Really poor management..

I had stayed in this hotel for 2 visits. The first visit was from 6 Nov (1 Night) and the second one was from 9 Nov to 11 Nov (2 Nights). For the first visit, i booked a Triple room with Balcony. The room was ok and i did not have any complaints. However, my second visit turned out to be extremely disturbing for us. We had booked a Family Suite. We reached the hotel at around 2 pm, but our room was not ready. In fact, the front desk guy could not even locate my reservation. To give him some time, I went out for lunch and returned back after an hour. The frnt desk guy showed me my room which was supposed to be a family room (according to him). However, there was some luggage in the room. As such, I refused to enter the room since I did not want to enter into trouble with the other guest, whose luggage was kept in his room. So, I informed him to give me some other family suite, which he could not give. SO, we had no choice but to occupy the triple room with Balcony for our stay. Obliviously, we requested the front desk to refund back (not the entire money - but the difference between the two rooms). However, he refused to do it and spoke very rudely and asked us to cancel the room. However, I did not want to waste my money since it was a non redundable booking and I had on option but to stay in the hotel. We asked for face napkins (A basic thing which every 3* hotel is expected to have). However, they did not have any such thing. The breakfast was also very basic and not to the bare minimum standard of a 3 star property. Seeing the limited options for veg (not the hotel's fault that some of us are veg), we asked for honey. However, the hotel did not even have honey, which is to be applied to the bread. And this is only the beginning of the story. The hotel forgot to collect payment from us for our first visit. I returned back to India and the front desk staff contacted me for the payment. By that time, I had posted a very brief feedback about the property on some booking portal. I readily agreed to pay and made the payment. The moment the payment was made, the tone of the frot desk staff changed dramatically. He started calling me names and threatened to broadcast my negative feedback everywhere in Vietnam (i have whatsapp to prove my claims about this). However, I refused to take back my feedback and have gone ahead to post it on tripadvisor. I will not advise anyone to stay or not to stay in this property since everyone is his or her best judge. However, i felt that a front desk guy threatening people for giving a honest feedback does not go down well in any service industry. The basic thing which they could have done is to speak to us to understand our concerns and resolve it to the best of their ability. However, they chose the other way of threating to defame my name unless I do not take back my review on the othe site.

位於河內老城裡，這個價格算是不錯啦。房間環境算是不錯的，不過攜程沒有和代理方對接好，導致我辦入住花了很久的時間，而且攜程上寫了有早餐，但是實際上並沒有。

Hotel en pleno centro del Old Quater, que permite moverse en una de las zonas más interesantes de Hanoi. Hotel sencillo pero con un personal amabilísimo dispuesto a ayudar en todo momento, especial mención a Ms. Perry, siempre sonriente, que en cada regreso al hotel tras una escapada de varios días me recibía como si fuera habitante permanente del mismo Muy recomendable en términos calidad/precio

We loved staying at this hotel. The staff were outstanding, very obliging and helpful. The king size bed and pillows very comfortable. Great shower and the air conditioning worked wonderfully well. Well situated in the old quarter and so easy to walk to the lake, restaurants, coffee shops and Beer Street. Great rooftop bar and the Red Bean restaurant on thr ground floor very good for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We stayed here overall 8 nights in total.

Excellent ! Chambre avec grand lit double matelas ferme avec salle de bain (douche, pas de baignoire) et balconnet. Mobilier de bois antique et minibar (pas de frigo) dans la chambre, haut plafond. Établissement hyperpropre. Petit déjeuner disponible sur demande ($) . Attention, le monsieur à la réception parle vietnamien seulement. Ayez votre traducteur en main et tout ira bien. Il est très gentil.

Great location near the famous Giang cafe and other cafes. Room is ok for the size but toilet is too small. I think the most crazy part is there is only 1 key to be share betweeb 2 person. The hotel front desk will rather go up and open the door for u then to give u another key. Strange policy

Perfect stay at Mina Hotel & Spa! I stayed for the weekend and found this hotel to be well maintained, warm and friendly. I love how every staff tries to be friendly and get to know their guest. Likewise, I feel at ease when return to the hotel every night. I got the premier room on the 5th floor and it had a nice view of surrounding buildings. The room has adequate amenities - including soap and shampoo, toiletries, kettle and coffee making equipment. While the bed was abit hard, it was comfortable and clean. Pillows were comfy, but sadly only 2 were provided. There was a large flat screen TV with Netflix pre-installed and a nice curtain that made waking up in the mornings, enjoyable. The toilet could have been better designed as there was no shower curtain of divider between the bath tub and the main area, making bathing a mess. The hotel also serves breakfast in the morning - but I found it to be a tad underwhelming - though I understand the hotel may not receive many guest. Included in the breakfast is an egg station, pho / porridge station, stir fried foods, fruits and basic breads. Coffee and Tea was also provided, but it was fairly basic. Nevertheless, the service made up the lack of good breakfast - staffs try their best for make your breakfast a comfortable experience. I don't remember the names, but I'd like to thank the staffs (between 23/9-25/9) that made my stay a wonderful one. Location wise, Mina Hotel & Spa is well located amidst the hustling streets, and at the end of beer street, with 5-10mins walking to the lake. It's also located near a bunch of street foods, which makes this hotel a perfect place to stay, wander and eat your way through hanoi. I also tried the Spa and found it to be professional, extremely clean and it's service, exceptional. I got the VIP Combo 1, which included a facial, hair wash, foot soak and a body massage. While I particularly enjoyed the facial and hair wash, the massage was average and not strong. The masseuse had slightly long fingernails, which felt a tad uncomfortable during the massage. Nevertheless, the facial and hair wash was exceptional and left me feeling fresh and alive. Overall, Mina Hotel & Spa will be a hotel that I'll visit again when I come to hanoi again. It's fair to say despite its inconveniences, it's warm hospitality and personal touch to its guests makes up for it.

I have been staying at Super Hotel Candle for a number of times before Covid 19 and 1 time after Covid 19. Generally everything is fine but there are 2 points that disappointed me and need to improve. The faucet in the toilet and towels need to be changed even before Covid 19 but nothing seems to improve after Covid 19. Second, the breakfast standard has dropped a lot after the Covid 19 and even after my revisited this month again.
