Hotel berhampiran SNP dome Heidelberg, Heidelberg

Hübsches, kleines, einfaches Hotel mit sehr sauberen und geräumigen Zimmern. Die Rezeption ist von 15 - 19 Uhr mit einer sehr netten und extrem hilfsbereiten jungen Dame besetzt. Außerhalb dieser Zeiten erfolgt der Kontakt zum Personal telefonisch, was wir aber gar nicht nutzen mussten, da alles in bester Ordnung war. Zudem stehen für Check-In und Check-Out auch kontaktlose Möglichkeiten (bspw. elektronisches Check-In-Terminal) bereit. Wir hatten zwei Zimmer gebucht (Doppel- und Dreibettzimmer). Das sehr geräumige Doppelzimmer war gekennzeichnet mit sehr interessantem ”Wintergarten”-flair durch eine Reihe von Deckenfenstern war mit einer kleinen Küche ausgestattet, die wir allerdings bis auf die Kaffeemaschine auch nicht ausprobiert haben. Leider war es des Nächstens ein bisschen kühl in dem Raum, da die Heizung es nicht ganz vermochte, das gesamte Volumen aufzuwärmen. Im Dreibettzimmer hatten sich unsere Kinder einquartiert. Auch hier gab es ausreichend Platz und eine Kaffeemaschine. Das Hotel liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zu einer Straßenbahnstation. Von dort aus ist man in wenigen Stationen am Bismarckplatz und kann eigentlich ganz Heidelberg bequem entdecken. Für Autos ist die Stadt eher nichts. Auch rund um das Hotel sind Parkplätze Mangelware. Die Unterkunft hat gerade mal zwei Gästestellplätze, die jeweils für 14 Euro pro Tag zusätzlich gebucht werden können. Laut Rezeption wäre auch ein temporärer Parkausweis für das jeweilige Stadtgebiet für 10 Euro pro Tag erhältlich. Darum haben wir uns aber nicht gekümmert. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es eine Pizzeria ”Da Baggio”, die sehr gemütlich aussieht, aber wohl auch gut frequentiert ist. Für uns jedenfalls fand sich spontan kein Platz. Ein paar Meter weiter entfernt, aber immer noch fußläufig einwandfrei zu erreichen, ist die Pizzeria ”Da Vinci”. Die Preise sind gehoben, aber das Essen sehr lecker. Für sparsame Gäste gibts in der Nähe auch einen Bringdienst.

We walked to the hotel from the hautbahnhof, not far, about 800m A little far from the old town, maybe 20-30 minutes walk, but we got plenty of exercise. We could have taken a tram if we wished though from close to the hotel. Our Premium room was very good. Very spacious and comfortable. The bar staff were friendly and welcoming (especially Babu who we enjoyed talking to very much) Beer prices for the Heidelberger beer very competitive (unusual for a hotel bar) and a free drink for every day we didn't have housekeeping. The room was a bit warm for us but we would open the window to cool down for a while. Not sure how it would work in summer as the air-conditioning didn't do much. We would recommend this hotel and would stay here again if we return to Heidelberg.

IT IS A REGRET TO BOOK FROM THIS HOTEL. Since I wanted to celebrate my birthday in Heidelberg, a city I really want to visit, I made a reservation at this hotel to stay for 2 nights between 7-9 March. I was going to come to Germany either by plane from outside European countries. On March 7, there was a strike in Germany and the airports were closed. It was notified by the airline company on March 6 that our flight was canceled. We immediately informed the hotel about the situation and asked them to postpone our visit to April 7-9 and transfer the fee to this date, but they stated that the strike was not their problem and took the hotel fee for 2 nights from our credit card. Strike is an essential situation. In legal terms, this is called FORCE MAJEURE – “a common clause in contracts that essentially relieves both parties of liability or liability in the event of an extraordinary event or circumstance beyond the control of the parties, such as a war, strike, riot, crime, or war.” In case of force majeure, standard procedures cannot be applied. The hotel guest is not responsible and cannot be punished. The Mille Stelle City hotel, which turned the strike into an opportunity, charging for a service it did not provide does not comply with business ethics and is a shameful situation. Although accommodation cannot be made due to force majeure, the fee collected from the guest is not a fair gain. It is against consumer rights and even human rights. My flight was canceled due to the strike in Germany, I could not enter the country, the hotel canceled my reservation and charged the fee. Moreover, despite all my communication efforts, they were treated indifferently, saying ”the strike is not my problem”. Our emails were not answered. Not only could I not celebrate my birthday, but I was also unfairly victimized. It was a birthday I will never forget in my life. If you do not want to regret it, never book this hotel, which does not have well-intentioned management. I made my complaints about the hotel through different institutions. And I will continue my complaints and articles about this hotel on every platform until I get my justice.

This was my first stay at the Exzellenz Hotel and I was quite pleased. It is within easy walking distance of Bismarkplatz and the start of the Altstadt Hauptstraße. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was modern and updated. And the front desk staff were very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to give me the information I was looking for. The breakfast was typical of what you would expect from a German hotel and, overall, I was very satisfied with the value of my stay.

We booked this hotel last minute to visit Heidelberg, we are in shock when we go to the room because the room are well prepared & its cold! have aircond in it! We love all things in the room. all well. room with balcony, aircond, smart home functions, big flat tv with nexflix, coffee machine, kitchen & utensils. its complete like a studio house. The receptionist also so friendly. there is mistakes from Trip.Com state check out time at 12 but actually is at 11. then we not ready because we think the time was at 12. then they came & gave us time to check out. all so good for sure we will come again to this hotel.

We had a delightful stay at the Heidelberger Hof. The Hotel is around the corner from the Main Street, Hauptßtrase in the old town so ideally placed to visit the historic city. It is a 20 min walk from the Hauptbahnhof. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms are warm, clean and comfortable. We had a comfortable double bed and good shower. It was not noisy either. There is a buffet, European breakfast on offer it is well presented and caters for guests with food allergies. Our group consisted of a vegetarian, gluten & nut allergies and we all found the breakfast sufficient. Check out was simple and we were able to store our cases. We enjoyed our break at this hotel and in Heidelberg and would recommend both for a weekend break

Nach Corona ist es schwierig ein bezahlbares Hotel zu finden, egal wo, egal wann. Hier hatte ich mit dem Kurs unter 100Euro für eine Nacht in der Nähe von Heidelberg etwas Glück. Umso überraschter war ich, das mich ein großzügiges Zimmer mit Küchenzeile, großem Fernseher und großem Bad erwartete. Bett und Bettwäsche sind sehr bequem. Alles ist sehr sauber. Das Hotel ist vermutlich eher als Monteursunterkunft gedacht, es liegt in einem kleinen Industriegebiet. Parken kann man kostenlos in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Einkaufen und Straßenbahn sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Angestellten sind sehr nett. Die Zimmer haben auch Klimaanlage, Toaster und Kaffeemaschine werden auf Wunsch gestellt.

Wir waren schon mehrmals in diesem Hotel. Trotz langer Vorausbuchung bekamen wir ein Zimmer zur Küche hin. Da es sehr heiss war, hörte man das Abluftgebläse bei offenem Fenster sehr laut. Nach Rücksprache in der Rezeption wurden wir von der Dame professionell behandelt. Trotz Vollbelegung wegen einem Konzert bekamen wir ein ruhigeres Zimmer. Das ist Kundenservice und das bei einem Hotel mit 330 Betten!👍 Das Frühstück ist überaus gut und perfekt organisiert. Bravo an das Management.

The Leonardo at Heidelberg-Walldorf was a wonderful find in a pleasant location. (It’s the one on Roter Str., not the one nearer Heidelberg.) It has everything you need for a weekend stay or for FRA airport (90 mins away). You do need a car to get there but parking is free. The rooms are large and have a small fridge, a safe and air-conditioning. There’s a TV with many international channels. The wi-fi is good. I found the bed very comfortable. In summer there’s an outdoor pool, which has a shallow end and is very suitable for children. There’s also an indoor pool, which is 1.5m deep and has no shallow end. Children need to be closely supervised there. Near the indoor pool is a sauna. There’s a bar, which isn’t always open because of the lack of local staff. However, the restaurant will serve drinks. The staff in the restaurant are wonderful, especially the host and hostess, who take great care to make sure that all the customers are well served. Since the restaurant is very popular, dinner reservations are essential. Breakfast reservations are a good idea too. Ms Hrg on the front desk was extremely helpful with everything. I really can’t think of anything that this hotel lacks for a nice relaxed stay.
