Terokai Ulasan Tetamu Hotel di Hobart

DoubleTree by Hilton Hobart
5/53 Ulasan
It has only been opened recently so everything is very new and neat and the staff are nice. The kids loved the pool and the sauna was great. Had breakfast and had a fantastic selection. The mushrooms were amazing probably the best hot buffet spread I've had in Australia. Only a few small negatives no High Chairs yet so didn't try the restaurant for dinner and no real Hilton Honors acknowledgement. Looking forward to our next stay.

If you are reading this, you are thinking about visiting Mona. But stop thinking and start booking! 1 - Travel via the Posh Pit 2 - Book a Pavilion for the night and let Lauren and Michael look after you. They are our fav people ever. 3 - Go directly to the Void Bar for an espresso martini before you start viewing the art 4 - Listen to Ben Salter at 3pm 5 - Book the Lux Dinner Package (and view the extra exhibitions this package offers) 6 - Eat and drink all the food at all times! 7 - Buy the special bar of soap

Had a recent stay for 3 nights and found it really enjoyable. After a little confusion with parking the car due to street it is located on being a bus thoroughfare, valet parking was prompt and we found we didn't need to get car out again. Great location in the centre of town and easy walking to everything Hobart has to offer. Rooms were very clean, although a little small, bathroom was a generous size although water did flood floor when showering. Did have to order another pillow as ones in room were rock hard. Breakfast was very yummy and buffet option that was offered had more than enough to satisfy. Gym was small with just enough equipment to do a workout. The Chocolate Hour was a bit of a letdown, not what we expected, but still another point of difference. All in all, a really nice stay and we'll certainly wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was very large too. It was all clean. Most guest rooms are in annexes, with reception and dining in the old building (old for Oz, anyway) which boasts a bit of style. Breakfast was quite good but items such as bacon and scrambled eggs did not stay very hot about the buffet. I liked the sourdough. Reception was prompt and professional. Now the minor dislikes: it’s a good 30 minute walk from the CBD / waterfront, up a bit of hill all the way. (There is an area with plenty of bars etc about half way). I walked several times a day and it was OK. Most guests will have cars though. The living area in the room needed a TV. If there can only be one TV per room, it would be better there than in front of the bed in my opinion. Finally, one of the two wardrobes is locked up, presumably to store linen etc. The other only has hanging space so there was no shelving. I felt a little cheated that half of “my” potential wardrobe space was denied to me! On balance, I would consider staying again, even though it is a little way out of town. Overall it is large, clean, comfortable and manages a little style.

From Check In to Check Out, the experience was seamless. Fantastic accommodating staff, large, practical and comfortable room. The best bath robes of any hotel anywhere on the planet. Cannot recommend highly enough. Having stayed at many other top tier Hotels in Hobart, would not stay anywhere else when we next return. 11/10.

Little bit dated. Booked through Qantas Hotels and somehow was upgraded. ( No requested room available? do not know.) Water shower deluge head is great. Plenty of towels washers etc. The body wash and shampoo bottles are squeeze to actuate, sounds simple doesn't it? Mattress very comfy. Pillow a little firm for me but I did have the choice of 5! You get a kettle and that's it. Fridge opens one way, cupboard door opens opposite way. Not user friendly. Mis mash of cups. No knife or fork. Had to book for a couple of nights the next week but was an extra 50 an night. Thought that was a bit unnecessary for a returning client booking the same room. We had two windy nights and the sliding door widows rattling was enough to keep you awake. Need to be wedged. Location to town. Excellent, walking distance.
