I recently stayed at the Venice Waterworld Hotel in Shijiazhuang and, unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The hotel feels quite outdated and in need of renovation. The rooms were dark and old, with furnishings that seemed worn and tired. One of the biggest issues was the air conditioning—it was old and lacked a proper thermostat, making it difficult to regulate the temperature. Additionally, smoking is permitted throughout the hotel, which was a major downside for me as a non-smoker. The smell of tobacco was pervasive in the hallways and common areas, making the stay less comfortable. Breakfast lacked food for its guests. They were not being topped up according to the people who were in the restaurant. While the location may be convenient for some, the overall condition and policies of the hotel make it a poor choice for travelers who prefer clean, modern, and smoke-free accommodations. If I return to Shijiazhuang, I will definitely look for a different hotel. Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) – Below Average, Needs Improvement

We only stayed for 1 night but really enjoyed the experience. Due to the centralized heating system, our room was extremely hot and reached 29 degrees celsius even with the window open. We ended up calling the front desk at 4:30 a.m., and within 10 minutes, someone arrived with a large fan. She helped us set it up and adjust the temperature, and it quickly became comfortable enough for us to fall back asleep. Thank you for the quick assistance!

The Hilton Shijiazhuang is very well located in the city centre and not too far from major places and close to metro stations. Will come back to this hotel for sure next time when visiting Shijiazhuang.

Nice stay for 1 night in Chengde. Great service, free parking lots, friendly and helpful staff. Room, very clean, bright with a grand view to the river. Bathroom divided in tube/shower, toilet room and make-up space. Breakfast with a great choice of Chinese food. Just a few things related with international breakfast. The hotel is located not directly to many shops and restaurants. We took a taxi to the recommended restaurants and scenic places.

酒店房間很乾凈温馨，全天熱水，花灑壓力大，洗澡舒服。酒店新裝修很氣派，不愧是四星級酒店。大堂有茶水、糖果提供。前台辦理入住的小哥哥態度非常好，主動加了微信，詳細發了wifi密碼，酒店服務，還有周邊出行攻略。我們是全家去衹有紅樓夢戲劇幻城玩的，酒店離衹有紅樓夢很近很方便，早餐開餐特別早，適合出遊家庭， 品種也特別豐富。停車位超級充足！

I would like to commend the outstanding job of the front desk and extend my greatness thanks and gratitude especially to Ms Xia JiaLu which have been wonderful in providing exceptional services , help and information during my stay here. I have stayed in many hotels in China. But intercontinental Tangshan really have left me with the most best impression of what customer service and satisfaction is supposed to be. Kudos!!!!

Very pleased with this accommodation. They are a health and wellness theme hotel which focuses on wellness programmes and facilities. The room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast variety is also great and delicious.
