Hotel berhampiran Clarins(Sheung Shui Plaza Store), Hong Kong

Semasa daftar masuk. Bilik belum dibersihkan, jadi saya pergi berenang di kolam renang dahulu. Kolam itu besar dan selesa. Saya memecahkan botol bir kerana saya tidak mempunyai air Apabila saya memukul meja depan, seorang rakan sekerja segera membersihkannya. Terdapat banyak restoran berdekatan dan bersambung dengan pusat membeli-belah, menjadikan membeli-belah mudah! Tinggal lagi!

The hotel is easy to find because you can see the bldg. w/ Panda logo at the far distance. However, the only disadvantage for me is it's a little bit far from the MTR station and when you walk during the hot weather, it's kind of disturbing feeling, maybe it's just ok during winter time. Anyway,check in is smooth, good thing is that you don't need to deposit, just get directly into your room. Also there is a mall, restaurants, coffee shop, bakeshop at the groundfloor and around the building so you dont need to worry where to eat. Room is clean w/ big and small bed, but found something strange when I walk into the restroom to pee in the middle of the night and suddenly heard strange noise which bothers my sleep. Room rate is reasonable and near the Disneyland or if you want to go day tour in Macau by bus.

First time in HK and got stranded because of the typhoon in Taiwan. So blessed to find this super affordable yet spacious, comfortable, and super convenient hotel. Thanks for giving us a wonderful experience by upgrading our room! It was one for the books!🥰

Ia adalah luas dan kami mempunyai pemandangan kolam renang yang bagus walaupun satu-satunya yang tidak suka tentangnya ialah tiada cangkuk untuk tuala kami untuk digantung jadi kami terpaksa menggunakan ampaian di dalam almari pakaian tetapi itu sahaja tempat yang kami boleh menyidai pakaian basah kami. Hotel yang sangat besar mereka mempunyai banyak kemudahan kolam renang, gimnasium, spa dan mereka akan mempunyai banyak restoran di sekitar hotel Ketidaksukaan tentang bilik hotel yang kami ada ialah saya rasa setiap daripada kami mempunyai satu bantal dan saya rasa itu tidak mencukupi namun terdapat dua bantal tambahan di dalam almari pakaian dan selimut tambahan dan itu sangat bagus untuk disertakan. di dalam bilik. Nice hotel, artistic design and layout. Closer to metro station 5-10mins. The size of the room is enough for my family. They regularly clean the room which is nice. They provided toiletries but sometimes were inconsistent. For 4pax booked, sometimes they provided 2 sets of toothbrush/slippers. Other days they provided 4. No problem though, you can always ask the receptionist but it would be better if consistent. However, one of the reasons I chose this hotel are the amenities posted. Children playground-maybe I overlooked it or haven't read that you need to pay for 200 hkd per hour. So it is not free. Swimming pool- you need to book in order to use and limit it for 1.5hrs only. I am not sure if it comes with a fee, better check it first. No free drinking water provided. Charger outlet/adapter- you need to buy or bring one Using their power source- it takes ages to charge. Tried the breakfast, just okay for 77/pax Overall, a good stay but would prefer another hotel with the same rate next time.

Honestly, when I booked this hotel I was a little apprehensive after looking at the reviews and pictures, and seeing how far out of central HK it was. The hotel looks a little dated in the pictures and reminded me a bit of a 70s Spanish hotel. Whilst this was a little true, I was very wrong in my apprehension and I enjoyed this hotel so much that I returned for an extra 4 days. Cons: If you want to go into the centre of Hong Kong then it is a little bit far and that’s not what this hotel is for. The dining options outside the hotel are a little limited. The rooms are a bit dated and the beds a touch firm but it didn’t affect sleep quality and the size of the room made up for it. AND THAT IS IT! Pros: The food. Oh my god the food is great and far out*****s many hotels I’ve stayed in that were much more expensive. I had several dishes that were exceptional quality and well priced too (the paneer curry is out of this world and the lunchtime buffet was brilliant and had a 2 for 1 deal making it superb value). The breakfast might just be one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. The staff. Very friendly and accommodating for a family and supported us with all our needs. Special mention for Hotex who we saw several times during meal times. The room. For a family with a young infant, the size of the room was great and afforded lots of space for play and the amenities provided were great. Though the room is a touch dated, I wouldn’t say this is an issue and everything worked well and was well-maintained. The shower in my second room was fantastic! Also, if you can stay on the marina side with a balcony it is very much worth it, especially watching the black kites circling close by. The location. We didn’t want a downtown experience so we were delighted with the peace and quiet. The beach is brilliant, clean and spacious and it’s a very family friendly area. Hotel activities. There’s lots to do for families especially those with young children and when my child is a little older I hope to return so she can enjoy more of the activities! All in all I would like to say a massive thanks to the hotel and all the staff and I hope I can visit again soon!

It was a great experience overall. We reached the hotel at around 2 PM, but they couldn't check us in due to the Microsoft outage. There was a lot of confusion among other visitors, and the lobby was packed with people waiting for the check-in to start. I appreciate the front desk associate Abegail keeping her calm and composed smile, asking if we had lunch and, if not, to come back after lunch for check-in. The place was right next to the Nathan Road exit of East Tsim Sha Tsui MTR. That means it is next to Chungking Mansion for all things Indian. So we went to a restaurant inside Chungking Mansion, and by the time we got back, there was a long queue for check-in. Although the line was long, the front office staff quickly processed the check-ins. Mine just took 3 mins by the same front desk staff - Abegail. She also mentioned that I was getting an upgrade because all the Premium rooms with two double bed options were already occupied. We went to the room and it was awesome! The room was clean, and the pillows were named ”firm” and ”soft” so we could choose which to use. The room had an air purifier. Then, we opened the curtain to a scene showing Hong Kong's reality. While as a tourist, we are usually only privy to the better scenery of the place, we were looking at how cramped the living conditions were in Hong Kong. But to the left of our window was a bell tower and a garden; behind that was the Victoria Harbor *****. The best part of the hotel is the location and proximity to MTR, which allows you to visit all the places.

I was very well taken care of by the very friendly staff. Food was decent. Good coffee.. I loved the neighborhood with its cultural mix and languages. There may be more luxurious places, but this one has the best view in town! See pic from room window!!

I travel through Hong Kong about four times a year ~January, February, June and August. I used to stay at the Regal at the airport for years but 2021, after COVID, when the Regala Skycity opened I've only stayed there. Service is great, buffet is sumptuous, and the bed is just right for me. They had a new feature when i checked in last month (August, 2024) ~ water thermos that can be filled from the passageway. It's so much better than plastic bottles. And the water was nice and cooling. Highly recommended!
