We have only been here a few hours, but I am already AMAZED by the customer service that is being provided by the staff members at the MB Hilton Resort, specifically Kimberly, Jimmy, and Jeanine. Kimberly and Jeanine both were extremely helpful in answering questions about our concerns about our oldest child's severe food allergy and how to make reservations for dinner. They also made sure that we were fully aware of the perks that Diamond members are able to take advantage of. Jimmy was also super helpful in getting our luggage and beach gear to the room, in addition to providing some insight about the Hilton Resort property and also entertaining our two children who were VERY excited to get our room. Thanks to these three for an AMAZING start to our short vacation - we appreciate your time and help!!
Breakers Resort Hotel

Absolutely wonderful time! Location is perfect! Beachfront, walkable to stores, easy access to the hiway. Staff was very friendly, personable and accommodating. Parking was OK, they have 3 properties 1 building has to use Parking at the other properties...of course it was the 1 I stayed in but it's just next door or across the street. The restaurants food & drinks were great. Very clean. I checked in the night the Hurricane Ian hit Mytle Beach that morning. There was a leak in out hallway that saturated the carpet in the hallway outside our apt, Maintenance & Housekeeping were on the case before we even noticed it. I would definitely recommend & stay here again.
The Patricia Grand - Oceana Resorts Vacation Rentals

This was the worst Myrtle Beach stay I have ever had. I am going to speak to room 0532 at the Patricia Grand and not the entire property. Upon arrival staff was friendly and the check in process took less than 3 minutes. Upon entering the room it smelled clean (clorox smell), however I did notice that there was residue from the ceiling on the pillow of the beds, i just wiped them off. Thought nothing about it other than that the ceiling did look bad as it was peeling and that was it. I also instantly noticed the appliances in the room was outdated. TV was an LCD with a DVD player (wow). Lamps weren't in the best shape. Not to mention there were limited sockets and not one near the middle night stand. The room was just dated all the way around but again, seemed what I thought was clean. Fast forward, parked the car after unloading and went back to the room ceiling residue was back on the pillows, i thought to myself I know the ceiling is not falling apart. I looked up, nothing different other than the ceiling looked bad and if it was peeling but nothing was dropping at the moment. So I wiped them again. Fast forward throughout the day with my family. Came back to the room, the ceiling was on the pillows again, so I said let me report this. No telling what chemicals are in the ceiling particles and I don't want myself of my family to get sick and plus who wants to sleep with white particles falling on their head. Now at this time we are also trying to find the basketball game (Celtics vs Mav Game 4). TV channels were terrible and we couldn't find it. Picked up the phone to report the ceiling as well as ask what channel the game was on and to my surprise, the phone didn't work. Not that it didn't work, the cord didn't even fit in the phone. So sent my family downstairs to ask about the phone, TV, and ceiling. Maintenence came in about 20 minutes from that communication downstairs. The worker came in, looked at the phone and said oh the line is dead, it's not gonna work. What?!?! So what if something was wrong, how would we reach reception. To mention the ceiling again, the worker said I will let downstairs know (we already told downstairs smh), and as for the channel for the game we'll the channel lineup was wrong and when we found the channel for the game if buffered, didn't work, so we missed the game smh. Next day came around, now mind you I have reported the ceiling three times by second day (via text to Vacasa, downstairs to front desk work by my family member, and in the room when worker came to fix the phone. Now day two, I went downstairs and said hey what is going on with the request regarding the ceiling, the representative said the order has been placed and Maintenence will take care of it. Ok, well I was there three night, and Maintenence never came again. No urgency or care in their face or voice. Others issues noticed in room, remote stopped working other than for volume and lamp near sliding door had to be messed with to work and sta

As for the hotel itself it was ok. The room we stayed in was really small. As a platinum elite member I was treated extremely well. All of the staff from check in till we checked out were extremely friendly and seemed to care about our stay. We even had a waitress named Jamie on the morning of our departure talk with us and listened to our experiences. Now that is in my opinion above and beyond what is required of them to do. On the plus side we met a corporate member that happened to be there on vacation and she also spoke with us about our stay and previous stays at other IHG hotels. Have you ever had a corporate employee speak to you about your experiences and genuinely listen and care?? You have to understand that this is what true customer service is all about. They genuinely seemed to care and tried to make our experience as pleasant as possible. I’ve been an IHG member for close to 20 years and haven’t found a better hotel group as willing to and capable of the service they provide. And a shout out to Cheri the hostess when we checked out. I had spoken to her before we arrived and she actually remembered me when we departed.
Residence Inn Myrtle Beach Oceanfront

This was out third stay at this property. Our first stay was when is first opened. We stayed for 4 nights and overall had a great experience. Star at the front desk was really nice and very informative. Here are the Pros & Cons of this hotel. Pros: -They have done a decent job keeping up with the maintenance of the property. -The lobby/common area is bright, modern, and offers an amazing view of the beach. Wether you are eating breakfast or just want to read a good book in an inviting atmosphere -Room-spacious (we used suite rewards to upgrade to an executive double queen studio), full kitchen, decor was modern and flooring allows room to look and smell clean since there is no wall to wall carpeting. -Large balcony-can store beach chairs and umbrella, while still having room to sit -Ocean view and Oceanfront rooms both offered nice views (we have stayed in both types) -Location-quiet less populated area of the beach. This may be a con for some because there is not a lot to do within walking distance. -Fitness area-modern equipment, spacious enough. Included ellipticals, treadmills, weight machine, balls, etc. Cons -Bathroom- spacious, but not sure why there is only half of a shower door. I also wish that the shower head was detachable. -Breakfast could be improved. When we visited a couple of years ago the buffet had things like Brie cheese & chocolate croissants. No such luck this time. The quality is not great (eg. tasteless eggs, watery oatmeal, limited fruit selection). -Housekeeping-this is an extended stay location so they no longer clean your room everyday. You only get a “refresh” (remove trash and replace towels) after 3 days. I wish Marriott would remove the option in the APP for housekeeping everyday for these hotels. You opt in only to find out it’s not possible. -Parking garage-it’s tight and challenging to maneuver, but I appreciate that it’s covered, easy to get to, and there is ample parking. There are 15 min check in areas on the first floor which are helpful. The problem is that people still double park and cause traffic to back up. -Beach-the area in front of the hotel is very rocky (bring water shoes). I also did not like that the chair rental company set up their items in a line (chairs & umbrella) obscuring the view for everyone else. We were forced to set up our chairs behind theirs and did not have as nice a view of the water. Overall, we still like this property and will eventually come back.

We stay in a lot of Holiday Inn Expresses. Consistency is key for them and I expect it. This one stood out with an individual desk clerk. I provided his name to HIE but don’t recall it now. After my check in, next time by the desk he said hello with my name! Hasn’t happened before in any hotel. He made it memorable for us.
