Very nice stay. Service was excellent. The room was clean and the amenities were complete. Breakfast could be improved though. There were not much choices and the daily spread had little variety if you stay miltiple nights.

We had an amazing stay at Funny Lion Puerto Princesa! From check-in until we left, the service was excellent and the staff were consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. They made us feel welcome the entire time. We also appreciated the little extras — the complimentary minibar items and snacks were such a nice touch and made the stay feel even more special. Overall, we had a really comfortable and enjoyable experience here, and would definitely stay again on our next trip to Puerto Princesa. Highly recommended!

My flight arrived late at night, so I was happy to avail of the free airport pick up. The hotel is near the airport and within walking distance of the provincial capital. The area has many good options for restaurants; across the hotel is a grocery.  Local jeeps and tricycles can be hailed in front of the hotel.  There were strong rains, but I felt safe in the hotel and the area was not flooded.  I tried the breakfast ones and it was well prepared. I had the corned beef. Very good price point. Soundproofing could be improved.

Absolute Paradise I cannot recommend Astoria Palawan enough! My husband and I recently stayed in one of the Villas, and it was the perfect home away from home. The space, the privacy, and the gorgeous views made our trip truly special. One of the highlights was the boat trip to the sand bar—a slice of heaven in the middle of the water. The team that took us out ensured we were safe and comfortable the entire time, making the experience completely worry-free and magical. The food was consistently excellent. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets, which offered a fantastic variety of delicious dishes to suit every taste. For evening relaxation, we loved having drinks at The Dome—the atmosphere is unmatched. What truly sets this resort apart is the staff. Every single person we encountered went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I want to send a huge thank you to Segundo at the Canopy reception for his warm and efficient service. A special shout-out to Jacqklyn at The Dome for her wonderful evening service and making our nights out special, and to Mark at the Habitat Restaurant for his attentive care during our meals. We are also incredibly grateful to the team who safely took us to the sandbar—your professionalism was reassuring. Finally, a massive thank you to Agustin at the waterpark for his energy and helpfulness; he made the waterpark experience so much fun for us no. The Hotel is 2mins from the departures door of the airport. Staff service is superb but that’s a standard in the Philippines. Rooms clean. The only issue I had was with the wifi in the room which didn’t work and the hotel stuff were not able to fix. Overall in my opinion this hotel is better value for money than others in the same range.

This hotel was initially a nightmare. I booked 2 rooms through Trip for adults and the kids. Upon arrival, the hotel advised that one of the rooms had been cancelled and we only had one room. All my bookings were still showing in the Trip app so neither myself or Trip had cancelled anything. I contacted Trip and they were excellent and worked very hard, but unsuccessfully to get our room back... It was absolutely peak season and the room had been given to someone else. We were able to book a room Westown 2 nights later so the kids ended up staying at the hotel and us adults, luckily were able to find another hotel for 2 nights and then moved back to Westown hotel. When this issue occurred, I felt we were treated incredibly poorly by the hotel. They made it clear... If you book through a third party booking agency, the issue is with you..not our problem... Considering most of their bookings are probably through third parties, this attitude is poor. Once we moved back into the hotel for the remaining 3 days, the hotel facilities were good. Swimming pools were good. There was a cafe, couple of restaurants, and small gym. Location was 10 mins on a tricycle into the centre of town and there were always tricycles available. A shuttle was available to and from the airport. Negatives were as follows: - Hotel saying we cancelled one of our rooms even though we hadn't. Kids had to stay by themselves in the hotel. - Hotel didn't care less about us because we made the booking through a 3rd party. - Disappointing that probably 50% of the menu foods were not available in the Filipino restaurant while we were there...usual excuse of supplier issues was always given.

The hotel is beautiful!! Our room is amazing!! Love all the sculptures and fine details they have all over the hotel. The pools are huge and water is nice and warm! The staff is welcoming and friendly! Would definitely stay here again and recommend the hotel to other travelers.

Booked this due to proximity to the airport. Turns out if you come out of the airport exit, this is a 25 min walk to the airport! We didnt use PP airport to exit Palawan so not sure if better when travelling out from PP airport Fine for what we needed! Good aircon, lovely breakfast for a good price, just slow service!

It was okay I guess, despite the lack of exterior windows and bad carpet smell. I came here because there was more space in the rooms compared to competing, similarly priced hotels in Puerto Princesa, and a desk to work at. If you haven't researched the location, the hotel is very close to the airport and minor city attractions such as museums and cathedrals, but far from natural attractions such as wildlife conservations and clean beaches. And really, the latter is the main reason most people travel to Palawan. The buffet breakfast may have been adequate for the non-vegan, but that didn't include me.

Overall I have quite enjoyed my stay @ Go H - while the facilities are acceptable the staff has been fantastic. They have been accommodating & have tried to be helpful with everything. As in other developing countries not everything is always as well working/maintained perfectly, but when brought to staff's attn they addressed as best possible. The primary n major necessities are fine - I would definitely stay again ))
