⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Comfort and Service at an Amazing Value! I had an outstanding stay at Best Western Plus The Ivy Wall Hotel in Puerto Princesa. From check-in to check-out, the staff provided excellent customer service — always warm, attentive, and eager to help with a smile. They truly made me feel welcome and valued throughout my stay. The room was immaculate, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was soft and cozy, the linens fresh, and everything—from the bathroom to the minibar—was spotless. I also appreciated how quiet and relaxing the atmosphere was, perfect for unwinding after exploring the beautiful sights of Palawan. One of the highlights of my stay was the morning breakfast buffet. It offered a great variety of local and international dishes, all freshly prepared and delicious. From tropical fruits and made-to-order eggs to Filipino favorites and good coffee, it was the perfect way to start each day. The dining staff were equally wonderful—friendly, efficient, and attentive. Considering the high level of comfort, cleanliness, and service, the affordability of this hotel is truly impressive. You get a 5-star experience at a very reasonable price, making it one of the best values in Puerto Princesa. I highly recommend Best Western Plus The Ivy Wall Hotel to anyone visiting Palawan. Absolutely perfect! Adored staying at the Funny Lion the only thing I am sad about is we didn’t stay more than one night! The staff are attentive, happy and super helpful. Love the little touches such as a free snack hour at 3pm, activities included in the price, amenities in our room that were of a great standard and around 7pm the staff go room by room handing out homemade snacks in jars ❤️ what’s not to love!

The facility is near to all of your needs (Mall, convenience stores, foods both local and restaurants, pharmacy, etc). Clean, quite and staff are very kind and helpful.

Absolute Paradise I cannot recommend Astoria Palawan enough! My husband and I recently stayed in one of the Villas, and it was the perfect home away from home. The space, the privacy, and the gorgeous views made our trip truly special. One of the highlights was the boat trip to the sand bar—a slice of heaven in the middle of the water. The team that took us out ensured we were safe and comfortable the entire time, making the experience completely worry-free and magical. The food was consistently excellent. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets, which offered a fantastic variety of delicious dishes to suit every taste. For evening relaxation, we loved having drinks at The Dome—the atmosphere is unmatched. What truly sets this resort apart is the staff. Every single person we encountered went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I want to send a huge thank you to Segundo at the Canopy reception for his warm and efficient service. A special shout-out to Jacqklyn at The Dome for her wonderful evening service and making our nights out special, and to Mark at the Habitat Restaurant for his attentive care during our meals. We are also incredibly grateful to the team who safely took us to the sandbar—your professionalism was reassuring. Finally, a massive thank you to Agustin at the waterpark for his energy and helpfulness; he made the waterpark experience so much fun for us no. While hotel horror stories of rude staff and poor hygiene are all too common, my experience here was the exact opposite—a masterclass in integrity. I stayed for two days before heading to El Nido. While en route to my next destination, I received a call from the receptionist informing me that I’d left an envelope of cash in the room vault. She assured me it would be sealed and kept safe until my return. Upon my arrival back, the envelope was returned to me exactly as left. I had the pleasure of meeting Jessa Olam, whose honesty and professionalism truly saved my trip. To top it off, the hotel kindly provided a complimentary airport transfer as a final gesture of hospitality. As for the stay, the rooms were spotlessly clean with excellent water pressure in the showers. There was a lovely pool area perfect for a quick dip and relaxing with drinks from the on-site restaurant. The location of the hotel is incredibly convenient—just 2 minutes from the airport and 4 minutes from the local dining and nightlife hub. I will definitely be staying here again!

Very nice hotel and has the potential to be a great hotel.  Staff are extremely polite and friendly - always saying hello.  Pool are is great with ample swimming locations and sunbeds.  Food is to be expected at a hotel both in terms of price and quality.  Town is too far away to walk, but ample tricycles to take you.  Biggest let down for us was the water pressure - every time we had a shower, there would be no pressure and would need to contact front desk for maintenance to do something to the pump. Every time.  After the 4th complaint they really should’ve moved us to another room. We were on level4.

The hotel is beautiful!! Our room is amazing!! Love all the sculptures and fine details they have all over the hotel. The pools are huge and water is nice and warm! The staff is welcoming and friendly! Would definitely stay here again and recommend the hotel to other travelers.

Room is clean, with friendly and nice staffs. Located just opposite the public market whereby you can get lots of fruits, vegetables etc. There are nearby supermarkets n small malls where you can get snacks and necessities. Also walking distance to SM mall. It is nearby the airport too. By tuk tuk it cost you 150 to get go airport. Walking distance to Baywalk where you can enjoy sunset and nice seafood dinners. Or relaxing stroll along the busy baywalk. Paid 300 to get to the other side Sicsican where Ka Joel, baker’s Hill, etc are.

Need a few renovations. Lighting of the room can be fixed a bit, more light. Overall, it was a rather good stay. Value for money it is. Oh p.s. i still think the bath towels need newer sets.
