It’s an all-female capsule accommodation, which feels very safe as key card access is required to enter. The space is clean, tidy, and comfortable. There is also a laundry room available, and toiletries as well as basic skincare products are provided. Despite sharing the space, it’s very quiet and guests are considerate, so there’s no disturbance while sleeping. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

Stayed for a week here in total. I've been to more than 50 hostels around the world and this may be the best one I've ever been to, by many standards - one of the best for sure. So much stuff here is made in such a way that most hostels should take notes and copy. Big bed with plenty of space, automated mechanism to turn the bed to sofa, good ventilation there. Very fast internet. Dedicated tables for remote work with charging ports, and even a whole co-working area! Free coffee and tea. Silent beds area. Clean and comfortable bathrooms and showers. Huge space for luggage. Location which is very central. Convenience stores not far away. Great views from the lounge area as it's on high floor. So much stuff I liked! Can definitely recommend! The ONLY downside I'd say is that there is basically no lockers... So you have to just put your backpack or luggage in the area under the bed and it's not closed in any way apart from the curtain (which closes the whole bed area)... I know Japan is safe and all, but still, this can be kinda a major downside for some... There is a very small locker for valuables, but it's so small that only documents or small things can fit there. And also another thing - I mean, they designed the common area in quite a smart way, so travelers can potentially sit around one of the tables and socialize - but I can't say that this hostel/hotel is very social, people usually just work there. I've met some people, saw some people talk, but for most days even though I spend quite some time in common area - I didn't meet many people.

Fab capsule hotel! The only thing that I would change is how loud the blinds are but that was only a minor issue. The bathroom even had two rooms that were fully equipped with baths! I’ve never seen that in a hostel before. Great location, everything was spotless, the staff were lovely, overall 10/10. Thank you!

FUGA STAY, true to the meaning of its name “fuga” (elegance and serenity), is a refined and peaceful hideaway tucked within the heart of Kyoto. I personally love hotels that are hidden away from the main road yet still extremely convenient—just a 3 to 5-minute walk from Omiya Subway Station and numerous Kyoto city bus stops. If you’re into cycling or using e-scooters, there’s a Luup rental station right in front of the hotel. The room is spacious and very comfortable for a solo traveler. It comes with two double beds that you can easily move together to form a super king-size bed. The bathroom is also large, with no sense of tightness. The front desk staff speaks Japanese and Chinese, so communication is smooth and easy. Honestly, I’m hesitant to praise FUGA too much—if too many people discover it, the price might go up! P.S. Just around the corner is Tendō Shrine, only a 2-minute walk away. It felt like a beautiful encounter by fate. FUGA STAYは、その名の通り「風雅」で、賑やかな場所の中にありながらも静かで、控えめで上品な空間です。 大通りに面していないホテルが好きな私にとって、ここは理想的な立地です。徒歩3〜5分で大宮駅や京都市内の多数のバス停にアクセスできます。 自転車や電動キックボードが好きな方には、目の前にLuupのステーションがあってとても便利です。 部屋は広く、一人で泊まってもとても快適です。ダブルベッドが2台あり、自分で簡単に動かして、特大キングサイズベッドのように使うことができます。トイレも広々としていて、窮屈さは感じません。 フロントでは日本語と中国語（漢語）が通じるので、安心して滞在できます。 正直、あまり褒めすぎたくないです…人気が出て値上がりしそうで（笑） P.S. すぐ近くの路地に「天道神社」があり、徒歩2分ほどです。素敵なご縁を感じました。 FUGA STAY，如同其名字「風雅」一般，是一處鬧中取靜、低調而優雅的住宿空間。 我特別喜歡這種不在主幹道上、卻又交通便利的飯店——步行3到5分鐘即可抵達地鐵大宮站與眾多京都市巴士站點。 如果你喜歡騎單車或滑板車，門口就有Luup的租借點，非常方便。 房間空間寬敞，一個人住起來非常舒適，因為配置了兩張雙人床（可以輕鬆地自行移動，變成超級大king size）；廁所空間也很大，毫無壓迫感。 前台服務人員通曉日語與漢語，溝通無障礙。 說真的，我不太想過度讚美FUGA，因為怕太多人知道之後價格會上漲（笑） P.S. 小巷轉角就有一間「天道神社」，走路約2分鐘，非常有緣。

This is a small hostel with an absolutely awesome location. It is a walking distance from Gion and several iconic Kyoto destinatinations, which is truly the best feature it has. However, the dormitory itself was also pretty nice. It had exceptionally clean and well-equiped shower and bath as well as small kitchen with little public space and even a coin washing machine. The hostel, unfortunately, lacks a bit when it comes to storing luggage. I had to keep it in a dormitory corridor, which was not very wide in a first place. However no compaints there. For a short term stay, considering the price, this may very well be the best option

Friendly service, attendant helped us figure out how to use the stove, nice large room with solid space to put luggage. Decently spacious bathroom. Would be nice if they provided more utensils in the room 1 pair of chopsticks and a single fork is a little limiting. The Japanese beds can be easily folded up to give a serious amount of floor space. Located 50m away from a bus stop is pretty sweet and also directly across the road is a massive grocery/pharmacy store, very much able ro save some money and cook your own meals if need be on top avoiding the konbini prices. Also 100m from a 7/11 so easy access to an atm. Really great deal, we ended up cooking a wicked yakiniku in the room for bargain end of day closing prices on the meat ( photo attached

Hostel combined with a cafe. 2nd floor is a large common room, often busy so you can easily meet people there. Beds are very comfortable, but bottom bunks lack headspace. Small amenities like toothbrushes, towels, etc. cost yen. While they are cheap, the principle of charging what every other hostel in Japan provides for free didn’t sit well with me.

Great location with bus stop, keihan line and hankyu line nearby, making it convenient to travel around the city. However, some amenities like towels and toothbrushes require an extra fee. The shared bathroom could also get crowded, so there was sometimes a long wait to use it.

Really clean, not far from the center. Everything good, cabin is not as small as i imagined. Very very clean. If you only want a place to sleep this is good, but not that good for socializing tbh. Everyone is just in their own thing and you don’t really talk with anyone, but overall good.
