WWYLIN00It’s an all-female capsule accommodation, which feels very safe as key card access is required to enter. The space is clean, tidy, and comfortable. There is also a laundry room available, and toiletries as well as basic skincare products are provided. Despite sharing the space, it’s very quiet and guests are considerate, so there’s no disturbance while sleeping. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

DDmitrii PolovinkinStayed for a week here in total. I've been to more than 50 hostels around the world and this may be the best one I've ever been to, by many standards - one of the best for sure. So much stuff here is made in such a way that most hostels should take notes and copy. Big bed with plenty of space, automated mechanism to turn the bed to sofa, good ventilation there. Very fast internet. Dedicated tables for remote work with charging ports, and even a whole co-working area! Free coffee and tea. Silent beds area. Clean and comfortable bathrooms and showers. Huge space for luggage. Location which is very central. Convenience stores not far away. Great views from the lounge area as it's on high floor. So much stuff I liked! Can definitely recommend!
The ONLY downside I'd say is that there is basically no lockers... So you have to just put your backpack or luggage in the area under the bed and it's not closed in any way apart from the curtain (which closes the whole bed area)... I know Japan is safe and all, but still, this can be kinda a major downside for some... There is a very small locker for valuables, but it's so small that only documents or small things can fit there. And also another thing - I mean, they designed the common area in quite a smart way, so travelers can potentially sit around one of the tables and socialize - but I can't say that this hostel/hotel is very social, people usually just work there. I've met some people, saw some people talk, but for most days even though I spend quite some time in common area - I didn't meet many people.

SSpizzico• room: essential and little outdated with noisy ventilation
• amenities: kitchen and lobby area are little packed due to space availability but nice design. Laundry room is outside on a terrace and shared bathroom are essential as well. I would use this location for short stay
• location: 5 min walking distance from main train station and 5 min from shopping malls and food supermarkets. It is on the opposite side of the station to where the main shrine and shopping areas are located but convenient if you plan to leave early in the morning with train or bus
• staff: available to support
• breakfast: not used
• noise level: my room was quiet and could not hear people in the corridor or street noise as the property is in a small street
my background: I travel 320 days a year since 8 years staying in all range of accomodation from hostel to 5star. I am sensitive to dust smoke and noise and I just review objectively what I see with no judgement

I was in a 4 people mixed dorm on the ground floor.
🪲PROS:
- well connected to both busses and the subway
- A lot of Shrines in a 500m radius and both Ninnenzaka, Sannenzaka and Kiyomizu-dera are within walkable distance
- Multiple Lawsons close to the guesthouse
- Clean and nicely maintained facilities
- locker and a few clothing hangers in every room
- soap and shower gel are in every shower room
- You‘re allowed to store items in the fridge
- You can wash and dry your laundry for plenty cheap
- the common room area is super nice and cozy and there’s also a smoking area outside (if needed)
- all of the staff is very kind, relaxed and helpful and good at english
- lights out at 11 p.m. which helps create a nice sleeping atmosphere
- A BIG PLUS are Jiro (the owners dog that’s almost always at the GuestHouse) and the included breakfast (has options with meat, but also good to eat if you’re vegan or vegetarian) 🌱
🩸CONS:
- not really a con, but remember to bring your own toothbrush/toothpaste and towel - if you don’t, you can also rent it for cheap at the GuestHouse!
All in all absolutely loved my stay there. I was looking forward to the breakfast every morning and most of the guests were solo travelers as well, so i was able to meet some nice travel companions!
If i were to stay in Kyoto again, i would definitely book a stay at this GuestHouse! ☀️

PPengguna TetamuFab capsule hotel! The only thing that I would change is how loud the blinds are but that was only a minor issue. The bathroom even had two rooms that were fully equipped with baths! I’ve never seen that in a hostel before. Great location, everything was spotless, the staff were lovely, overall 10/10. Thank you!

KKyoto GodFUGA STAY, true to the meaning of its name “fuga” (elegance and serenity), is a refined and peaceful hideaway tucked within the heart of Kyoto.
I personally love hotels that are hidden away from the main road yet still extremely convenient—just a 3 to 5-minute walk from Omiya Subway Station and numerous Kyoto city bus stops.
If you’re into cycling or using e-scooters, there’s a Luup rental station right in front of the hotel.
The room is spacious and very comfortable for a solo traveler. It comes with two double beds that you can easily move together to form a super king-size bed. The bathroom is also large, with no sense of tightness.
The front desk staff speaks Japanese and Chinese, so communication is smooth and easy.
Honestly, I’m hesitant to praise FUGA too much—if too many people discover it, the price might go up!
P.S. Just around the corner is Tendō Shrine, only a 2-minute walk away. It felt like a beautiful encounter by fate.
FUGA STAYは、その名の通り「風雅」で、賑やかな場所の中にありながらも静かで、控えめで上品な空間です。
大通りに面していないホテルが好きな私にとって、ここは理想的な立地です。徒歩3〜5分で大宮駅や京都市内の多数のバス停にアクセスできます。
自転車や電動キックボードが好きな方には、目の前にLuupのステーションがあってとても便利です。
部屋は広く、一人で泊まってもとても快適です。ダブルベッドが2台あり、自分で簡単に動かして、特大キングサイズベッドのように使うことができます。トイレも広々としていて、窮屈さは感じません。
フロントでは日本語と中国語（漢語）が通じるので、安心して滞在できます。
正直、あまり褒めすぎたくないです…人気が出て値上がりしそうで（笑）
P.S. すぐ近くの路地に「天道神社」があり、徒歩2分ほどです。素敵なご縁を感じました。
FUGA STAY，如同其名字「風雅」一般，是一處鬧中取靜、低調而優雅的住宿空間。
我特別喜歡這種不在主幹道上、卻又交通便利的飯店——步行3到5分鐘即可抵達地鐵大宮站與眾多京都市巴士站點。
如果你喜歡騎單車或滑板車，門口就有Luup的租借點，非常方便。
房間空間寬敞，一個人住起來非常舒適，因為配置了兩張雙人床（可以輕鬆地自行移動，變成超級大king size）；廁所空間也很大，毫無壓迫感。
前台服務人員通曉日語與漢語，溝通無障礙。
說真的，我不太想過度讚美FUGA，因為怕太多人知道之後價格會上漲（笑）
P.S. 小巷轉角就有一間「天道神社」，走路約2分鐘，非常有緣。

PPengguna TetamuFriendly service, attendant helped us figure out how to use the stove, nice large room with solid space to put luggage. Decently spacious bathroom. Would be nice if they provided more utensils in the room 1 pair of chopsticks and a single fork is a little limiting. The Japanese beds can be easily folded up to give a serious amount of floor space. Located 50m away from a bus stop is pretty sweet and also directly across the road is a massive grocery/pharmacy store, very much able ro save some money and cook your own meals if need be on top avoiding the konbini prices. Also 100m from a 7/11 so easy access to an atm. Really great deal, we ended up cooking a wicked yakiniku in the room for bargain end of day closing prices on the meat ( photo attached

JJareneThe location and surroundings are wonderful, and our room was very spacious. The air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room cool and comfortable.
The only downside is the shared restroom. Since it’s used by both men and women, we sometimes found the area around the toilet seat wasn’t quite clean. A bit more care here would make a big difference.
Still, it’s a nice place with great value. I’d recommend it otherwise.
