We stayed on Koh Larn for two nights after a long time in Pattaya and before heading back to Bangkok.  Samanta by the Sea was a great find, and we enjoyed our stay very much.  The room was a great size, and it was even better that the hotel was only 5 min (walking) from the pier.  We were greeted by the owner and shown around. His friendliness and happiness were astonishing and so genuine. Getting free noodles, bread, and coffee 24/7 was a lovely touch, too.  We can only recommend Samanta by the Sea and will stay here heapily again. 

A good hotel if you like a place away from all the mayhem of Central Pattaya. The price was reasonable and the room was very clean! (I checked behind the TV, it was clean!). The service staff of the hotel really put in a lot of effort to keep everything clean and their room service is very thorough. The location: not so great, but if you spend 50 baht on a Grab motorbike you can be at Soi Bukhao or Central Pattaya in about 10 mins. Note that the hotel don't provide breakfast, but there are good breakfast places in the area. One small problem: no kettle or hot water. Oh well I bought one. Lastly, the room has a nice desk with drawers, if you need to do something productive or use a laptop etc. Overall a nice stay with really friendly staff!! ☺️

Очень понравился. В нем работают очень хорошие люди, добрые и отзывчивые. Номера чистые и уютные. Внутри тихо, не слышно шума города. Рядом 7/11, lotus , где можно купить продукты. В отеле предоставляют: мыло, шампунь, гель для душа, воду в бутылках, кофе. Уборка регулярная. Белье чистое , белое. Матрас очень удобный. Спать очень комфортно.

One of the best locations in central Pattaya - 5 mins to walking street, 15 mins to Bali Hai pier, 10 mins to Bua Khao market. At the same time very quiet neighbourhood

This hotel is located in an area filled with clubs, pubs, night parties, and nightlife. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who prefers a quiet environment. But if you want to have fun and enjoy parties, this place is perfect. Finding the hotel can be a bit tricky, so check the location carefully before you go, otherwise you might get confused on the way. The 24-hour reception staff are available if you need anything. Check-in is at 3.00 pm and check-out is at 11.00 am. Early check-in is allowed depending on availability. I personally feel check-out at 12.00 pm would be better. The room doesn't have slippers, a hair dryer, or a toothbrush. Other than that, everything was okay.

A sign has been posted stating that a fine of 2,000 baht will be charged if toilet paper or sanitary napkins are flushed down the toilet and cause a blockage. However, please note that the bathroom does not provide toilet paper, nor is there a trash bin for disposing of toilet paper. This means that if you urgently need to use the toilet, you will not be able to wipe with toilet paper, nor will you have a place to throw it away. Travelers planning to book should keep this in mind. There seems to be a bar next door, and background music continues to play even after midnight. Bringing noise-canceling earphones, headphones, or even simple earplugs will likely help you sleep better. The room itself is spacious enough, and the air conditioning seemed to work fine. Since there is no convenience store nearby, expect to walk about 5 to 10 minutes to reach one.

Не хватало теплой воды, но мы знали на что идем. В ванной и вправду нужно более качественно убрать. Матрас жесткий, но каждому своё. Вид классный, вечерами сидели на балконе и наслаждались видом. Приедем ещё. Нам понравилось, особенно за такие деньги. Муравьи не мешали, так как не хранили еду и напитки в открытом доступе.

It is a small but very cozy hostel, and overall it was a great experience. The place was clean and welcoming, and the internet connection was impressively fast. I especially appreciated having two power outlets and a personal lamp by the bed — very convenient and thoughtful. The only downsides were the mattress, which was sagging in one spot and not very comfortable, and the curtain-closing system around the beds, which didn’t feel like the best solution, it was real pain. Despite these minor issues, the hostel was charming, comfortable, and definitely worth recommending.

The hotel has a great location, making it convenient for travelers. The place itself is good, but I was disappointed that we were given a different room from what we originally booked through Trip.com. The room we reserved was more expensive, yet we were provided with a lower-category room instead. Additionally, I believe the hotel could benefit from some maintenance and renovations, as certain areas are starting to look a bit outdated. Proper upkeep would definitely enhance the overall experience for guests. Overall, it’s a decent place to stay, but better attention to room allocation and maintenance would make it much better.

Были в этом отеле 3 ночи. Отель очень уставший, сантехника вся капает, кровать очень жесткая, но это всё не важно, потому что на остров приезжают купаться и отдыхать на пляже. Для того что бы просто переночевать пойдёт. Ещё есть небольшая терраса около номера, там мы кушали утром и вечером. Удобно что не на первой линии, не так шумно вечером, но и не далеко от пляжа. Завтраки не брали.
