房間大；配套設施設備不錯👍配有戴森吹風機，還有國人喜歡的開水壺。但是我的人住 感覺超級差：1，）我長途國際航班抵達酒店比規定的3pm 入住早了2:30分鐘，check in 的服務人員Jalisa 非常強硬的告知我想提前check in 必須交75美金💲 沒有任何可以商量的餘地 。2 ）在找了另一位服務人員説明情況後幫助我們辦理check in 時又説我們必須交5天房費和400美元按金（我在攜程預訂時5天房費全部付完）又需要查實等待⌛️我也積極打電話聯繫攜程，等完成這次人住手續已經過去1小時30分鐘。3，）我入住酒店第一天洗澡熱水就不熱無法洗澡打電話給 room service 來了一個修理的人修理了一下，熱水熱了一點，本以為第二天熱水♨️應該繼續保持，可惜第二天還是沒有熱水♨️洗澡打電話給Room service 電話沒有人接，再打電話給前台連續打7次也同樣沒有人接，衹有下樓到酒店前台去反應熱水問題（同樣遇到Jalisa 態度也是超級不好👎衹是很冷淡的説我會記下你的需求，我再問什麼時候會有人來幫我修理好熱水問題，回答不知道，理由是時間晚了（當地時間9:45pm ）我説酒店是24小時有人service, 她説不是，不停給你找各種理由推脱😡我非常生氣😡這時旁邊一位男服務人員（辦完另一個客人的服務手續後，看不下去來幫我，告知我會聯繫人來修理並請我回房間等待（在男服務人員幫助下大約10分鐘後有了熱水♨️可以洗澡了）4，）在後續幾天每當路過前台再遇見Jalisa（前台服務員）都是橫眉冷對看看我。這就是我6天5晚的入住體驗。😅😅

Being in the Texas Medical Center, I was there for medical purposes. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The room was clean.

Lokasi mungkin bahagian yang terbaik. Ia bersambung dengan pusat konvensyen dan terdapat juga begitu banyak restoran dan trak makanan yang berdekatan dan terdapat beberapa yang bersambung dengannya juga. Ia sangat bersih dan saya pasti akan tinggal di sini lagi.

Kawasan kolam adalah mesra keluarga dan tempahan menghalang kesesakan. Bilik-bilik bersih dan semua restoran hebat. Lokasi adalah pusat kepada segala-galanya di pusat bandar. Sangat mengesyorkan.

We chose this hotel for its central location to all the spots we planned on visiting. And it did not disappoint. The room was very clean. The front desk was courteous and had answers to all our questions. Would recommend the bistro to everyone. Get eats, Great pre game atmosphere. Will recommend to others.

If it were possible to leave a zero star review of this particular property I would do so. I did not actually stay at the hotel - this review is related to the terrible service I received regarding my reservation and attempted check-in. First, let me note that we are Hilton Diamond members, so we only stay at Hilton properties and we are frequent travelers... I had a reservation booked for June 5-9 for two connecting rooms. I have a copy of the CONFIRMED reservation for guaranteed connecting rooms, and I should note, we selected this particular hotel as they showed guaranteed connections as an option. When I attempted to check in to my rooms via the app the rooms were not connected or even located next door to each other. I called the hotel directly and no one would answer the phone. I then called Hilton, spoke to a customer service agent who ALSO confirmed that my reservation was confirmed for guaranteed connecting rooms. The agent attempted to call the hotel (while I sat on hold for 20+ minutes because no one would answer his call either). When he finally got someone on the phone they argued that our reservation was not for connecting rooms and informed him there were no connecting rooms available. I was ultimately transferred to a couple of different agents and then finally connected directly to the hotel. The person I spoke to (night manager/desk person on the night of June 5th) was the rudest Hilton employee I have ever dealt with. She informed me that there were no connecting rooms available and then proceeded to argue with me that I didn't have a reservation for connections. I offered to send her the reservation confirmation as proof. She ignored me. She said she could put us in rooms that were ”close” to each other - I told her that was not an acceptable option as we had children travelling with us that could not be in a hotel room by themselves. I asked if she could at least correct the issue and reassign us to connecting rooms starting the following day and for the rest of our stay. Her response was that she didn't know if that was available and couldn't confirm it because she ”didn't know who was working the next day”. I then told her to cancel one of our rooms and put us all in a single room with 2 beds plus a rollaway bed. It was at that point that the employee got rather nasty (and even more unhelpful than she already was) and informed me that she would not be taking any ”demands” from me, started acting like she couldn't hear me any more (sarcastically saying ”Hello? Hello”? Oh, I guess you aren't there?”) and then hung up on me and refused to answer the phone again. This was all happening at approximately 10pm. I was left with nowhere to stay for myself/my family that night and had to scramble to find a new hotel. The entire failure of the reservation and then the way the hotel employee dealt with the situation was utterly unacceptable. 1. *DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Houston at the Galleria IS THE FIRST HILTON-MANAGED HOTEL I'm STAYING IN WITH SUCH UNHOSPITABLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL FRONT OFFICE STAFF. 2. The front office staff, unfortunately, are a new guest’s first contact but they lack professionalism and decorum. First impressions last forever, they say. 3. They don’t wear name tags at the front office (except Pinky Pradhan), so they carry on providing sub-standard services in anonymity. 4. THE RESTAURANT STAFF ARE ALL SO CORDIAL & SO NICE. 5. The food was excellent. 6. The facilities are super (gym and pool) except that the lifts are so slow and were perpetually being fixed for the seven nights I stayed there. 7. Only one electric power outlet (charging point) in the King size room, which was far from the work desk. So, laptop use was not fun. I was on a business trip, not on holiday 8. I was told that a guest has to be Hilton Honors DIAMOND to qualify to have a bottle of water in your room...amazing! I chose the hotel because of its proximity to JW Marriott, venue of my training, so I could do a few minutes' walk to and fro. I wish I stayed at the Marriott. I may not recommend DoubleTree by Hilton Houston at the Galleria to any one I care about.

Stay was beyond excellent. The room was clean, fresh smelling and the bed super comfortable. Staff were friendly and professional. Shout out to David who gave us a warm welcome. Hotel does NOT charge for parking, which is highly unusual. The hotel offers a parking garage and surface parking behind the hotel. The location is very convenient. Without traffic it was only a 15 minute drive to downtown, 10 minutes to the Galleria and 10 minutes to Memorial Park. The challenge is navigating the frontage roads to actually get to the hotel, but Waze or Google Maps was spot on with the guidance. The hotel definitely has an older architectural style, but the rooms are super clean and well maintained. The concierge lounge is stocked with sodas, flavored water and snacks. Soundproofing was sufficient that we never were bothered by the freeway noise! We stay at dozens of hotels on an annual basis, and this hotel is simply one of the best run properties we have experienced. Definitely would recommend this property and stay here again.
