I initially posted a review but had to remove it and provide an update. I stayed at this hotel for only one evening. I was in Houston for work and when I returned to my hotel room, all items I had in the room that were not in a closet or drawer were gone. In total, it was over $430 worth, including my gym shoes, apple magsafe charger, food, and toiletries. I informed the front desk and my experience with Lenice was absolutely horrible. No empathy at all for someone who had just had most of their day-to-day items taken and she was extremely rude. I cut the stay short and went to another hotel and filed a police report. It has taken 72 hours of me calling the hotel and IGH's corporate office to find out that anyone who went in the room denies seeing anything in there and I have to wait for the police to investigate. The corporate office has been no help. I'll never stay at another IGH hotel.

I had surgery at the adjoining Methodist Hospital and we chose this Marriott location for convenience. The front desk staff were professionals, and the room was perfect: clean and very comfortable. We had a high floor with a beautiful view. The restaurant downstairs was closed for some reason so we ate at at the bar, but the food was quite good. The only glitch was that there was a charge for valet parking and we did not use their parking garage/service. This is understandable because I suspect that the vast majority of their guests use the valet parking. As soon as I caught this I called the front desk and they removed the charge immediately. We really scored getting to stay at such a comfortable and pleasant hotel the night before my procedure and then just walk over to the hospital the next morning inside the cool, air conditioned skyway linking the buildings.

我就是奔着免費停車去的。離中國城遠，想吃好吃的得開車開半個小時。房間很老，有能吃飽的免費早餐。不過，就這價格，還包括停車費，含早餐，還要啥停車費啊。不過話說，休斯頓帶孩子玩，是真沒啥可玩的。我是因為拒絕了休斯頓的job offer，想去看看自己沒去后不後悔。

We have always stayed in Hilton properties, usually they're pretty good but sometimes they're not great - this one has to be the absolute worst experience we ever had in a Hilton hotel. It was so bad, we actually took photos of the stains, mattresses and bedding. The phone from the 1980's was nasty, like someone had spilled grease on it, the light switches had a gewy oil on them, Lamps and clock were all unplugged (so very limited lighting when we walked in). There were nasty (and I mean NASTY) stains all down the sides of the mattresses and on the wall, black hairs on my sheets and my daughters sheets had what looked like small blood stains. The bathroom was so dirty that my daughter refused to use the shower (mold in the shower and a toilet that had been recently used - still remnants of the previous user!) and the sink was so dirty she chose to brush her teeth in the parking lot with a bottle of water. I tried to use the shower, then realized there were no hand towels or rags (which I didn't realize until I was already trying to take the shower). It was hands down the dirtiest room and worst experience at a hotel. We did not arrive until late Saturday evening (10:00pm) so by the time we arrived, got to our room and saw how bad the condition of the room was; it was already too late to make a complaint or even attempt to change rooms. We were exhausted and ready to try to get some sleep, but based upon the interaction we just had with the two staff members downstairs (who were chatting it up with each as well as being on their phones - dismissive), we knew it wouldn't get us anywhere so late.....and we just wanted to go to bed. My daughter ended up sleeping on top of the bedding.

Great location especially since we spent time at museums. Room was dirty. Cleaning supplies left in room when we first entered. Went to bathroom and clump of hair left on toilet seat. This property is nice but a bit over rated I believe.

These employees excel in hospitality!! From the front desk that was so friendly and outgoing, always greeting you and so accommodating to are late check out! To the both amazing shuttle drivers who made sure we new how to reach them at any time.The morning breakfast staff always cleaning up after us with a smile, and the maintenance staff who made sure we could charge are phones while we waited to go to the airport. The rooms are amazing! This hotel is so clean and well staffed. I can't say enough great things about it. I've been in the hotel business for 20 years. Thanks for a great experience. Can't wait to come back. See you in 8 months.
