The Azambezi Hotel in Zimbabwe's Victoria Falls is an exceptional destination that exceeded my every expectation. From the moment I arrived at the property, I was struck by its stunning beauty and tranquil atmosphere. The hotel is set in a lush garden, with a gorgeous view of the Zambezi River, and is just a short distance from the world-famous Victoria Falls. The rooms at the Azambezi Hotel are beautifully decorated, with all the modern amenities you could want. Each room has its own private balcony or patio, with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the decor, which reflected the local culture and history, without sacrificing comfort or luxury. The hotel's staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was a memorable one. Whether it was arranging for transportation to the falls or suggesting local activities and attractions, they were always available and eager to help. The food at the Azambezi Hotel was truly exceptional. The restaurant offered a wide range of delicious local and international cuisine, and the presentation was always impeccable. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which featured a variety of fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Finally, the hotel's location was simply unbeatable. With its proximity to the Victoria Falls, I was able to explore the area easily and take in all the breathtaking natural beauty of this world wonder. The hotel also offers a range of activities, from river cruises to guided tours of the falls, ensuring that there was always something to do and see. In summary, the Azambezi Hotel is an outstanding destination that I would recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable experience in Zimbabwe's Victoria Falls. With its beautiful setting, exceptional service, and top-notch amenities, it truly exceeded my every expectation. Also if you are lucky you will see some animals roaming around the garden as I spotted this elephant at night in the car park!

My trip was a perfect one, l arrived early and l managed to get an early check-in , the room was super clean beautiful bathroom and tub, warm water. The staff was friendly and special mention to Douglas at reception he was like family and he is professional 10/10 for him. The pool is beautiful and super clean but they should not close pool at 6pm.

I cannot fault this hotel. There was a mix up on arrival and I was told a room which I believed had been booked was not available. I was angry after a long drive with no food and was rude to the staff at reception which I regret and for which I apologise. I calmed down by the pool and ate some food and the matter was resolved. Trinity was exceptional as a manager. He was courteous and helpful, despite my behaviour. He worked to find a solution, I had a room within two hours. I was upgraded the following day for the remainder of my stay. Sharon even went so far as to provide a fruit basket and other treats. The food is exceptional. The pool extremely good. Jefto and Trymore operated a complimentary shuttle to the town centre and were kind and accommodating. Great rooms. Lovely views from balconies. Trinity went further and helped organise a helicopter trip. The conference facilities were excellent.

In spite of the rough National road the arrival was very comfortable and welcoming! Rooms refurbished clean and comfortable. Food always delivered but hotel was 100% full for a group so service a little slow. Bar still being redone so drinks served from a room With inadequate tills for billing. Staff extremely pleasant helpful and tried hard. Food particularly breakfasts were tasty and well portioned. Lots of workers crossing lawn in front due to Set up of evening function which was done well. Very pleased as great cost benefit when the wild animals are ‘always just there’! I hope that the National road does not discourage future (impatient) travelers as lots to see and do nearby!

All of the staff was welcoming from the security that helped to carry bags to reception, to the General Manager. It was a lovely experience and hope to do it again in the future. The facilities were also good, and very happy with the shuttle service that ferried us to and from the hotel and local activities during the day
