We had a wonderful two day stay. There weren’t many guests around on the dates we stayed, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The hotel offered a shuttle golf buggy to the beach and nearby places which was a bonus. It rained heavily while we at the beach so staff picked us up in a car. I have already recommended the hotel to a friend! Staff: Friendly, helpful and attentive. Breakfast: Fresh and healthy, served in the outside coffee/bar summer house. Afternoon Tea: Tasty fruit, fresh juice, local biscuits. Hotel surroundings: The garden is planted thoughtfully and kept tidy. It was nice to have the open covered seating area to rest and read a book. The furniture is good quality and comfy. Swimming pool is a nice size and clean apart from some surface bugs. (it’s not easy to keep all flies/insects out off the pool in a hot place) Dog friendly hotel, the owner’s puppy was super cute! Room: Super view over the mountains. Large balcony. Furniture, towels, toiletries and bedding all high quality. Decor tasteful and modern. Everything felt reasonably new and in good repair. Surrounding area: Quiet village, plenty of places to eat or get coffee. Only cons: Coffee is not included as standard with the breakfast. When it rains the cushions on the balcony’s outside furniture oget wet so you can’t sit on them for some time. I personally didn’t like that you could see into the ground floor rooms from the outside seating and sunbathing areas.

De Vivre is to live, and you will never feel more alive here. Away from the hectic city life and mundane repetitive everyday work rush, you can wind down and relax here. The setting of the place is like a garden, it has a touch of rustic yet modern. If you are looking for a place to take photos then this is the place for you. Every inch of De Vivre will produce the best photo you can ever ask for. They even provide a free photography service for you if you need( first 3 photos is by the photographer). The most outstanding part about this place, more so than the scenary is the service provided by the staff there. They have a 24hours butler service that will try help you resolve any problems that you have to the best of their abilities. They are swift in responding and always always very friendly to make you feel at home. The owner who is there most of the time will chat with you and offer you fruits from the local villagers and really make you feel at ease and at home. Not to mention the 2 dogs there that are extremely friendly that will only try to ask you for belly rubs. They also offer a lot of activies in the hotel such as henna painting, hair braiding and other diy art events, with afternoon tea and even movie under the stars. If you are looking to go to the nearby beach, they have a chauffer to bring you there and back, you just have to communicate the timings with them. The whole stay is extremely pleasant. If you are worried about the cleanliness of the place, it is extremely clean. Thy would on the air conditional before you arrive so that your room would already be cool. The room always smells very pleasant. Last but not least, I just wanna say this is not a sponsored post hahaha. These are all heartfelt feelings and I would definitely find time to go back there. They definitely made me feel like home even away from home. This is the perfect getaway for anyone.

I recently stayed here as a Belgian Chinese traveler, and even though my Chinese isn’t very strong, I was welcomed with so much warmth. This hostel is a true hidden gem, tucked away from the typical tourist trails in a quiet part of the village. It’s the perfect location: right by the fields and some very trendy coffee shops, yet only a 5-minute scooter ride from the main bay and the best surf spots. The owners, Shuiku (水库) and Xiaoxiao (笑笑), really made my trip. Shuiku immediately helped me sort out a scooter and personally showed me where to find the best waves, while Xiaoxiao’s English is quite good, which made everything so much easier. They also pointed me toward some local restaurants that were all absolutely delicious. The vibe of the place is just great. It’s incredibly clean because the cleaning lady and Shuiku himself clean the place several times a day. I loved the design of the indoor chill-out area, though sitting outside to enjoy the tropical weather was just as good. There’s a washing machine which is super handy, and you can rent surfboards for a very fair, cheap price. Because the owners' friends drop by almost daily, there’s always a lively, authentic atmosphere. I met a great mix of foreign tourists and Chinese solo travelers trekking around the island by bike or motorcycle. Many Chinese couples and families where staying too, it is very kid-friendly too. I even ended up meeting a French girl there, and we spent a whole week surfing together. Their dedication to resolving guest feedback and commitment to excellence is truly commendable. I was also touched by the extra efforts they made, such as personally delivering breakfast to my room—a gesture that went far beyond my expectations and made me feel genuinely valued as a guest. Additionally, I want to highlight the exceptional service provided by Yvette, the Manager of the Lakeside Restaurant. Her attentiveness and warm demeanor during my dining experiences added a personal touch that made my stay even more memorable. English: If you’re traveling with a baby or young child, I highly recommend booking a family room. The room is spacious, comfortable, and very family-friendly. We originally booked a room with one bed, but the owner kindly upgraded us for free to a family room, which was a wonderful surprise. The location is excellent. While it’s not within walking distance to the beach, the ocean view is visible at a glance, and the beach itself is very close. Transportation is extremely convenient — the homestay provides a small shuttle, and all you need to do is send a message in the WeChat group. The staff are always quick to respond and ready to take you wherever you want to go. Since we were traveling with a child, we appreciated that the homestay is located slightly away from the bar street. It was the perfect balance — peaceful and quiet at night, without any noise disturbance. The nighttime atmosphere is especially charming — calm, romantic, and truly relaxing. Also, don’t forget to be kind and take care of XiangShu! The cutest puppy from the homestay! 中文： Gift Seaview Homestay 真的可以说是日月湾数一数二的好民宿，风景如画，让人一住就爱上。 如果是带宝宝或小朋友出行，强烈建议订家庭房。房间空间很大，住起来非常舒适。我们原本只订了一间一张床的房型，老板非常贴心，直接免费帮我们升级到了家庭房，真的很惊喜，也很感动。 民宿的地理位置很好。虽然不是步行就能到海边，但站在民宿就能一眼看到大海，而且实际距离海边也非常近。出行完全不用担心，民宿有接送小车，微信群里说一声，小哥小妹马上就到，想去哪都很方便。 因为带着孩子，民宿位置离酒吧一条街稍微远一点，反而刚刚好。晚上非常安静，不会被吵到，睡眠质量很好。 夜晚的景色尤其迷人，安静中带着浪漫，特别适合放松心情、慢慢享受度假的感觉。 千万不要忘记好好对待享墅（狗狗）！ 明年一定还会再来住这里！

欣欣 literally carried my entire experience in this trip. Let's start off with the positives ✅, 1. Architecture and design of the hotel is absolutely superb, looks really glamourous and chill, this outlay cannot go wrong with anybody. 2. I have a little private pool I could lay back and enjoy the afternoon 3. You can attend a free session of singing bowl, I had a relaxing time meditating with the ladies. 4. Satisfied a lot of my needs, correcting their mistakes 5. The staff 欣欣 is literally the reason why I'm not giving the place a negative review. She is super attentive and helpful. Helped me dealt with the bad services from her younger colleagues. Bought me some local noodles and had a fulfilling chat with me for quite a while. Even gave me advice on how to plan for my upcoming trip better. Mature and responsible. The bad part I previously mentioned ❌: 1. After dropping me off at the beach, two guy staffs told me they were busy and can't pick me up. They told me to wait for an extra 20 minutes after I already did 15. Have to walk back on the pitch black road with dried feces and water puddles. 2. Aside from 欣欣 almost all staff I met smokes 🤢. When the two guys tried to make up for it they are blowing 3rd hand in the face, it stinks. 3. My bed was full of ants, but they gave me a free upgrade so that's not a problem.

The whole vibe of this hotel is peaceful, green, and super relaxing — perfect for a little escape from the city. While my room didn’t face the ocean directly, it overlooked a beautiful garden full of lush tropical trees and plants. It felt like waking up in the middle of a quiet jungle oasis. I loved how calming it was — birds chirping in the morning, swaying palm trees, and so much natural light. The room itself was spotless and stylish, with a comfortable bed and everything I needed. You can tell they care about maintaining the place really well. What really made this stay special was the staff. Everyone I met was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help — whether it was arranging transportation or giving local tips. They even have drivers who can take you around to explore nearby beaches and spots, which was super convenient. One of my favorite little perks? The coffee shop inside the hotel where you can grab free coffee anytime. I spent a lot of time there, sipping on iced drinks and reading in the garden — it was honestly the perfect recharge. The whole property feels cozy and nature-focused. Not flashy or crowded — just clean, peaceful, and full of tropical charm. Ideal for solo travelers or couples who want to slow down and soak in some nature. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Wanning or Riyue Bay. I’ll absolutely be back! 🌺✨

Nice rooms facing the sea and lighthouse, there was a staircase that also led to a private beach. Unfortunately, the water supply had issues, but the hotel staff promptly helped to arrange us to be able to shower elsewhere. While slightly inconvenient, it made for memorable experience buggy-ing down a main road.

這家Harbor民宿真的絕了～ 推門見海，出門就是浪點，早起抱着板子走兩步就能沖早浪，懶人狂喜！房間是簡約ins風，超乾淨，陽台直接看海景日出，隨手拍都出片📸 老闆人超nice，會根據浪況推薦浪點，還會偷偷告訴你本地人才知道的美食小店🍜 晚上在院子裏和新認識的浪友聊天喝酒看星星，氛圍感拉滿🌊✨ 已經準備二刷了，沖浪黨來萬寧直接鎖這家！
