"The room itself was quite ok. The bed was big and comfortable, the AC was working well. The bathroom was not as good, with a huge mold stain on the ceiling and more mold on soap dispensers. All the water taps were leaking, and the water pressure was bad. I'm pretty sure the toilet was leaking as well. The breakfast was... Terrible. Especially the breakfast box they give to those who have early morning tours! Mine tasted as if it was prepared weeks ago. For the regular breakfast, the selection is poor, the food was cold and not replenished, so if you come early or late you might not get the things ypu want. The hotel is located far from the city, so there is nothing nearby. Whenever you need to go somewhere, you have to call a cab. The front desk doesn't exchange money, and there is no convenience store nearby. The beach looks pretty but quite dirty."

"Its probably the most convenient hotel to get to get around this area. Room was ok for the price range. BUT, I have had the WORST time in this hotel. My room was on the second floor, right above the club just one floor down. I normally can endure a bit a noise , but this is at a whole new level because my bed was literary vibrating with the bass of the speakers below. And i though since it was impossible to sleep so i went to the club below and maybe have a drink, but when i went it, there were only 1 customer in there 🤣 . Really whats the point hahaha. Anyways i went back to the room and waited until 3am until the music stops and finally i could try and sleep...for 2 hours because need to check out and head to the port to board the boat. So thank you dejavu2.0 for the sleepless night."

"Staying at Katamaran Hotel & Resort Komodo was an absolute delight. Despite being a relatively new property, having opened about a year and a half ago, it runs with the precision and grace of a seasoned resort. The warmth and hospitality of the staff were unmatched from the moment I arrived, and I must give a special compliment to the efficient and helpful luggage service. The security team, the front desk personnel, and the F&B team were all incredibly proactive and obliging, making sure I felt completely safe, comfortable, and well looked after throughout my stay. Special mention to the front desk staff who were very helpful with our queries, reservations and check-out: Denal and Amelia 😊👋 I also want to highly compliment the day tour I took, which covered six different destinations. It was a perfect crash course of the entire national park and was well worth the money. I highly recommend anyone staying here to take up that one-day tour for an unforgettable experience seeing the dragons up close, frolicking on pink sands, snorkeling with turtles and manta rays and basking on a Bank crescent sandbank surrounded by crystal blue waters. While the breakfast variety was impressive and the chefs did a fantastic job keeping dishes stocked, the coffee/tea service was prompt...there is a small room for improvement in plate clearance. Being a bit more attentive to clearing used plates would certainly elevate the dining experience even further. Adding to that, we noticed that salt and pepper cruets weren't always consistently placed on every table, so ensuring those are readily available would be a great way to enhance convenience for guests. Additionally, Katamaran could significantly boost its appeal by offering complimentary access to its aquatic sports amenities, such as paddle boats, water bikes, and kayaking. We realized the free activities were not as popular though. Overall, with stunning views, excellent warm personalized service, I would highly recommend this hotel and will not hesitate to stay here again."

"Best parts: ocean view rooms have a stunning view, and the balcony was lovely to sit and admire the view. Breakfast buffet was very solid, and the availability of packed breakfast boxes for day trips is very nice. Free airport shuttle was much appreciated. Worst parts: price is quite high for the area and the bathroom especially didn't meet the price expectations. No actual soap/hand soap, shower wasn't super nice, although it was clean. Other notes: it's about a 20-minute walk to the centre of the main *****. Great to be away from the main area and I was happy to walk to and from the main ***** as needed, otherwise I guess taxis can be used. The photo attached is the view from a room on the top floor. At time of my stay there are big construction areas around the property but I didn't have any noise inconveniences during my time."

"Beautiful boutique hotel, attentive staff. The hotel grounds consist of a beautiful green garden with a free form pool that looks out to the sea. Very relaxing to just chill and do nothing by the pool. Spacious rooms and windows look towards the sea for beautiful sunsets. However, breakfast buffet needs improvement taste wise. Although there is variety, it is far from delicious. Tasteless fried rice, noodles, and pastries that a doughey. Even the jam spread provided comes out chunky like a hard jelly. Room shower water pressure is on the weaker side. Hotel is a 20 min walk to tourist street in town, which is ok in bright daylight but a little scary at night as the streetside is dark , quiet and walkway flanked by shrubs and tall grass."

"Beautiful hotel next to the harbour. Beautiful sunset on Level 6 restaurant. Great location at close proximity of dive shops, local shops and seafood market. Service was excellent."

"I would give a better service puntuation if they didn’t forget to do 2 wake up calls apart from that everything ok food in the bar downstairs is super delicious ,room was clean day made my beed every day i got towels every day as well which was petty convenient and location is also pretty good cause you have almost everything around normal amenities ,shower hot and with pressure which is so important for me and breakfast a little below the average but sights from the roof top buffet are priceless ,friendly stuff as well ,money well spend you get more than you pay"

"Fantastic location, great views and clean room! My flight got cancelled so i could only check in one day later which they accommodated in terms of timing. I was able to call them through Trip.com and managed to communicate with them quite easily. Room was cleaner than expected! No insects at all, only 2-3 spiders. No hair found on sheets or sofa, no clogged drains, no foul smells. We had a room on the 3rd floor and it is accessible through lift and stairs. Sound wise, i could hear the water and door opening from the next room, nothing else. In the mornings you can hear the sounds of birds chirping and sometimes roosters crowing, pretty nice to wake up to. The sounds aren't loud enough to be disruptive. Aircon seems very new. No old musty smells, very clean and fresh. Hotel staff are responsive and helpful too. Overall, I would stay here again! Rooms are clean and spacious, it's a short 5 min walk to town, a convenient walk to the airport and has a great Italian restraunt next door."
