The hotels two main features include the beautiful hotel lobby with the water flowing through and the nightly Shamisen performance. The second is their Onsen with those brave enough in winter to venture to both the outdoor Onsen, it’s well worth frozen toes

Keikokubinado sits high above a bend of the Aga River in it's beautiful forested valley. Friendly staff offer the yukata/tatami/onsen experience in traditional rooms in a somewhat confusing complex layout of two separate buildings. If you do not have a meal plan, there is an excellent izikaya bar just 100m away that opens at 18h30, and very good self-serve coffee is available in the lobbies until 10h00. Complimentary shuttle van service from AshinomakiOnsen ” Cat StationMaster” station on the AizuTadami line. I enjoyed it so much I'm rebooking for next year.

What a wonderful family oriented hotel. Good for couples, families & extended families. Staff wonderful and atmosphere relaxed. We would recommend a visit to this town of samurai and sake. Easy to get around and different to the big cities. A great place for a few days. The hotel has large hot spa areas and we enjoyed every minute.

The location is far from Nikko, located on the mountain. The lobby has been updated but the rooms were kinda out dated. Dinner and breakfast were very unique experience. The quality is ok as similar to other onsen style hotel. We still enjoyed it. The late night noodles snack was great.

ホテルは東山温泉のどん詰まりに近い場所に（道路も狭いので注意）。駐車場もホテル入口から１００Mくらい離れた場所に。 夕食は川床をチョイス。場所は駐車場よりももう少し行った場所。 テーブルが並んでいるが写真で見るような川べりの席は限られている様で、見ていると 選んだコースにより場所が決まっている感じ。当日はほぼ満席であったが空いている時はどうなのかは不明。 我が家は夫婦そろって大食漢なので少なく感じたが、同年代【６０歳代】は十分な量か？ で料理はといえば、すでに作り置きの料理が置かれており、メインの食材は後から運ばれたが全体的に量はどうなの？ 川から離れていた席ということもあり、全体で評価すると納得する場所・料理ではなかった。 川床は勧めない。 【風呂】 男風呂の露天風呂は川のそばにあり、滝も目の前に。妻に聞くと女風呂は滝がちょっと遠くに見えたとのこと。 もうちょっと時期ずらし紅葉の時期が良かったのかな？

I stayed overnight in a very compact but also very practical room with everything I needed. The space was well-designed with a good-sized desk which had three powerpoints above it (yay! doesn't happen everywhere), so easy to plug in tablet and accessories, and also charge phone and camera battery. Small fridge and tv, humidifier, electric jug, nighshirt and complimentary slilppers. Lovely ceramic tea mugs. I did find the waste bins a little small (no recycling but that's often the case in Japanese hotels). Wi fi worked well, and there was a radio. The comfortable bed had a nice flat pillow and lighting console conveniently placed. The bathroom was small but there was a good deep bath. Interesting city and mountain views from the room. The hotel lobby was attractively decorated. The location was conveniently close to the JR Station as well as eateries and some shops. Good value, and would stay again.

赤ちゃんの離乳食も置いてあって私は持って行ってましたが忘れちゃった方にはありがたいサービスだと思います。
山奥なのでWi-Fiがフロントあたりしか入らないですが、スマホとかは使えるので気にしなければ問題ないと思います。
子供が回線繋いでゲームできなくてちょっと残念そうでしたが、なければないで娯楽も沢山あるのでちゃんと満喫できてました。
ママは売店に地酒がなくてちょっと残念でした（苦笑）バイキングの時に飲めたり、一階のお食事処に行けば飲めましたが、お部屋でゆっくり飲みたかったのでちょっと残念。
きっと皆んな宿屋に行く前に買うのでしょうが忘れちゃったのと、売店にお土産と一緒にあるかなぁーと期待してただけにちょっと悲しかったです。
でも全体的にはとてもいいお宿です。

私たちの会津若松での宿泊先に選んだのが、ホテルニューパレスです。野口英世が青春時代を過ごした街である、野口英世青春通りに面して建つ、会津若松で最初のシティホテルです。 会津若松で最初のシティホテルというだけあって、ホテルは古い感じはありますが、ロビー周りや客室は比較的広さがあり、町の中心部と言う好立地も評価に値します。 私たちは、会津若松観光に「町中周遊バス」を利用するつもりだったので、そのバス停がホテルのすぐ前にあったこともうれしいポイントでした。 １階には「Deco」という朝食レストラン兼カフェがあって、滞在中の朝食と、夕食後の生ビールをいただきました。

Great hotel located next to Aizuwakamatsu Station. It’s a great location for being a base to visit all the attractions and great restaurants around the area. It’s a standard Toyoko Inn Japanese business hotel with basic amenities. Room wise it was definitely above average but it’s a bit on the old side. The bed and pillow was comfortable. Great water pressure too. The room came with breakfast so we managed to have a go just before they close up (pretty early at 9am). The food was basic but tasted really good. They also provide a common washer and dryer which was very useful for us travellers. Would definitely consider it as it’s a good budget, centrally located and comfortable.

A beautiful old traditional wooden building in a quiet street. We chose a Japanese room with floor futons though I glimpsed the interior of at least one other room which had beds. Our room was actually 2 large spaces - one set up with the futons on tatami mats and the other set up with a low table, 2 low chairs and the TV. Traditional food served and it is also possible to have lunch and dinner here as well as the breakfasts that came with the booking. We did have one dinner. The staff were absolutely wonderful, especially the chief receptionist who spoke very good English and took great care to ensure my need for gluten free food was met for breakfasts and the dinner we ate. Highly recommend this inn. The bathroom facilities including toilets were shared but never once did I have to wait my turn for the facilities. We did have to book a time for the shower. Walking distance to many of the local sights though we also hired bikes one day which saved time and were fun to use.

PPengguna Tetamu建物の近くの駐車場は狭く着いて来た順に遠くへの駐車場に自分で停めて来る様に案内されます。 ロビーは綺麗でラウンジのドリンク無料サービスが充実してました。 チェックインは自分での記入はなく部屋に案内されてから夕飯と館内の案内をして頂いたのですぐに部屋でゆっくりする事ができました。 部屋もお風呂も広く3人でもゆったりできる程でした。 部屋のフリードリンクも多く至れり尽くせりでした。 一見部屋は綺麗でしたが空気清浄機とドライヤーだけが埃まみれでした。 加湿器も自分で水を入れてくださいとあったにも関わらず水が溜まっていたので自分で捨てて入れ直しました。 岩風呂は狭いのでお勧めしませんとフロントに言われたので大浴場を二ヶ所堪能しましたが川が見える静かな温泉で居心地が良かったです。 山なので夕飯は野菜多めですが出汁が効いている物が多く見た目が美しかったです。 焼き物の魚がぬるかったのが残念でした。 値段が高かったのでメインは和牛かと思ったら国産牛というのも少し残念でした。 夕飯後友人が腹痛を起こしたのでフロントで行き方を訊いた所徒歩15分との事で歩いて出発。 気温マイナス4度、雪が少し降る中地面はバリバリに凍り、転ばない様に歩いて30分近く。 帰りはタクシー。後で調べると距離1.7キロ。 その事をフロントの男性に言うと、 「自分はいつも15分で歩いて来てます。」 との解答。 謝罪よりも先にその発言が出てきた事に腹が立ちました。 雪が降るアイスバンと積雪の道1.7キロを15分で歩ける人がどれだけいると思ってるのでしょうかね？ それでも部屋のお風呂が最高過ぎたので満足の方が大きかったです。 良い所が多かっただけにフロントの1人の対応だけが残念でなりませんでした。

We visited Aizuwakamatsu at the national holiday weekend so there were limited options to us in this famous onsen town, Hagishiyama. We wanted a more modern hotel, and while the shots of the room look good on their website, the reality is that it is much smaller than I had expected. Though the room looked new, the bathroom was a disappointment, small and shabby. With two large beds in the room, that leaves little space for moving around. And they try hard to squeeze all essential items of an onsen hotel room into the smallest space possible, including placing the vanity unit in the living room opposite the sleeping platform, sharing space with a kettle and drinking water glasses. There is a shoe stand and a folding screen in-between the toilet and bathroom, which is hugely strange and inconvenient. Ours is a 12-tatami room, which I expect would be good for 3 people, but the reality is that it is so cramped that one would not want to spend much time in the room. Perhaps that’s the reason why the hotel provided a lot of public sitting areas. Yes, for guests to admire the magnificent view of the mountain stream, but also to stay out of the uncomfortable room. The room was a huge disappointment but there are some nice sides of the hotel. Dinner was really good; we had window seats facing the waterfall and the Aizu beef was very delicious. The public onsets, especially the outdoor ones, are nice, situated just next to the mountain stream. All in all, for the US680 I paid for three, it was not good value for money.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel was clean and good. I like the concept of taking of the shoes at the front desk to switch to slippers throughout the hotel. Just to note the 20 min walk from the station to the hotel (but is an easy walk down a straight road) and actually from the hotel is also only 20 mins walk to the tsurago castle so super convenient if you are visiting the castle as well.

会津鉄道「湯野上温泉」駅から送迎で３キロほどでしょうか。スタッフの対応も良く丁寧でした。大浴場の浴場内の床が畳敷き名のは驚きです。これは本当に滑らずに歩けますね。夕食は「会津料理」ではなく普通の料理？ですね。いい意味での田舎料理とは無縁ですね。明らかに解凍と思われる刺身ー特に鮪は色が変わっていましたね。鮑は必要でしょうか。たちの酢の物もどうかな？山菜尽くしを期待してはいけないでしょうかね。朝食に烏賊の刺身はどうでしょうか？ご一考を！

PPengguna Tetamu予算とグレードの絡みでじゃらんにて予約し、9月の末に泊まった物件です。 お代は9,150円余で、チェックインは18時まで、夕食と朝食がバイキングです。 この時期、串揚げフェスをしており、うずらの串揚げを食べてきました。 しかし、今の胃では重かったですね。 朝食は盛り過ぎました。 部屋はビジネスホテル🏨の設備で、ユニットバスがあります。 じゃらんで予約すると割高なので、公式ページからの予約を勧めますし、そちらの方が系列ホテル🏨の予約も容易です。 お風呂は立地の割に広いですけど、東館の3階なので、歩かされました。 昭和後期頃のホテルなのでカラオケ🎤やゲーム🎮の設備もあります。 しかし、どちらもマシンを新しいものに差し替える必要がありそうですね。 カラオケ🎤は予約制なので、入れませんでしたが、ゲーム室🎮のマシンが比較的古いモデルだったのです。 泉質は硫酸塩で神経質や筋肉痛、冷え性、慢性消化器炎などに効**うです。

ゆっくらインの部屋のみの利用は大変不満が残りました」 ●うるさい１ 正面側ではなく、裏側に向いた部屋は坂道に面しており、路面が窓の目の前にあるため、車が通るたびに「ゴーッ」という走行音が結構な大きさで聞こえます。しかも坂道ですので登る車はアクセル踏んでいるので余計にうるさい。 ●うるさい２ 部屋には移動用の下駄が備えられていますが、それを部屋の中で履く客がおり、部屋の中や階段を移動するたびに、イライラさせられました。おそらく浴衣で瀧の湯に移動する際に風情を出そうという魂胆だと思いますが、激しく頓珍漢だと思います。 ●うるさい３ 部屋の壁が薄く、廊下の音も響く構造なので、ほかに騒がしい客がいれば気分が悪くなります。うるさい×３ですので音に敏感な方は耳栓マストです。下手すると一睡もできないと思います。私は耳栓を持ち歩いているので何とか寝付けました。 ●接客が微妙 瀧の湯は東山温泉でも上位にランクされる宿でもあり、接客が恭しいのですが、ゆっくらインはノーサービスが売りでもある？のでフロントの距離感が微妙です。受付も瀧の湯の客に対しては過剰なほどに丁寧ですが、ゆっくらインの客には必要十分、淡白な対応でした。私はその方が気楽でよかったです。むしろ従業員の方の方が切り分けに難儀しているように見受けられました。 ●瀧の湯が遠い 真冬の瀧の湯への移動は苦行です。往きは向かい風が、帰りは追い風が瀧から容赦なく吹き上げてきます。必然的に厚着を強いられますが、そのせいでお風呂での脱衣が大変になります。本館の客は浴衣なのでさっさとお風呂に入れますが、われわれは脱衣のために長時間ロッカー前を占拠するため、混雑時はとても邪魔な存在になります。 「瀧の湯の利用はとても快適でした」 〇温泉大浴場が良い ともあれ、お風呂自慢の宿ですので清流の香りを嗅ぎながらの湯浴みは最高です。湯上りの生ビール、ソフトクリーム、麦茶などのサービスはわれわれも恩恵にあずかれます。一部の浴槽がブルーシートでふさがれていたのには閉口しました。風情もへったくれもない。 〇食事が良い 今回１泊2食付きにしましたが、2食とも文句なしでした。夕食は特製弁当と案内されていましたが、実際にはちょっとした松花堂懐石でした。昼食であればかなり豪華な部類だと思います。席の位置も工夫されていて、高級旅館然とした料理をご満悦に食べている瀧の湯の客とはさりげなく区切られていました。朝食は瀧の湯の客と同じ献立です。食事会場のスタッフの気遣いに客の分け隔ては微塵も感じられませんでした。 総じて・・・ 格安の料金で瀧の湯の施設が利用できるのはかなりお得感があります。一方でゆっくらインだけの利用を考えるととてもCPが良いとは思えません。ビジネス目的のつもりで利用してみたら、大浴場は瀧の湯だし、食事は結構いい感じだし、と思える方には満足度は高いでしょう。だけど人によっては肩身が狭く感じるかもしれない、そんな施設だと思います。豪勢な旅行を楽しみたい瀧の湯の客と、宿はなるべくリーズナブルなところを選びたいゆっくらインの客はどう考えたって層が違う。そのバランスを無理やり取ろうとしているので、どうしても歪はでますね。とにかく耳栓はマストアイテムです。

The breakfast is not line buffet but one big box of breakfast that you can have refill rice (but not big for men)
The room is clean but not that clean (you can find dust on the ceiling which is nothing much for me.
The facility is ok as when i arrived at the hotel the opened-air onsen is out of service due to heavy snow (all places around the area are closed as well so it is understandable)
