Hotel Isla Mujeres dengan Kolam Renang

I went there for my daughter's wedding in May 22-26 2023. From the time we were picked up from the airport until we were dropped of at the airport the service was excellent! The resort was beautiful, clean and so relaxing. It was the attention to detail that impressed me the most. The rooms were amazing, with our own jacuzzi, pool access from our patio with a hammock. The massage spa on day 1 was excellent and the spa amenities were great. There were fun activities every day such as water spin cycling, water Zumba, yoga, rifle shooting, archery, beach workouts, margarita classes, aloe scrub classes and more! We participated in many of them as a group or individually. I have to tip my hat to Lancelot who was our rifle shooting, archery and margarita class instructor. His energy was great and so fun! He deserves a raise for how hard he works and his great personality. All the activities instructors and assistants were a joy to be with. I normally would not participate or just watch for a few minutes but they were so fun and nice that I wanted to participate. And they would remember your name everywhere you went which made it feel like a loving community. I learned a lot from the margarita(Lancelot) and aloe scrub(Munther) classes. I'm glad that I participated. I also played water spike ball in the pool for the first time which was surprisingly fun! The restaurants were great as well. Our favorite was the Market Kitchen buffet though because there was so much to choose from everyday and the food was very good and fast. Dukes Lobster Restaurant and Insieme Trattoria were great and had a beautiful view of the sea over the pool. The server Angel was a delight to have serve us. He made sure that we were personally taken care of everywhere we ate including Duke's, Insieme Trattoria and The Market Kitchen. I personally let him know how much I appreciated his hospitality and warm personality. He along with Lancelot and I believe it was Jose were all a joy to see everyday and I often complimented them on their excellent service. The Tropical Juice Bar was a surprising delight. At noon you could get fresh coconut water in the coconuts that they grabbed straight from the trees on the resort! The Sweet Corner was great as well with delicious various coffees, pastries and ice creams available everyday from 7am in the morning til 10pm. There was live performances every night and they were all great! I really enjoyed the Reggae Band, the Michael Jackson Experience and the Mexico Day event. The food was excellent for the Mexico Day and there was something for adults and children. We only had one negative situation which was that for some reason our room cleaning on the last full day wasn't done by 4pm and I had to call concierge twice to get it done. But they apologized eventually got it taken care of and it wasn't a big deal. It didn't hurt our over all experience at all. That was the only negative the whole trip. I killed a fly on the wall and the ants ate the fly so it was totally gone in an hour. One advantage of having ants in your room! While sitting at the pool I was crapped on 3 times by birds. Not the resorts fault but still unpleasant. The beds were comfortable and the room was large, plus drinkable bottled water and good free coffee was provided. Other than the nice quiet air-conditioning and great view I only have issues. Everything was dirty even the room floor. When you walk from the shower to the bed your bare feet are already dirty. The room was filled with mosquitoes so you get a lot of bites while you sleep. We used a full can of off bug repellant to survive our stay. Most all the umbrellas were broken so people got up before dawn to reserve their chair and umbrella by putting a towel on the chair. The resort got a few new umbrellas but the old home made holders did not hold them in so on a windy day I got hit very hard on the head. I asked at the desk if I would get any money back if I left early. The answer was ”no” because you did not cancel a week before. There was no interest in finding out if anything was wrong. Some of the staff were pleasant but most were not. The one really good employee was the young man at the pool bar. He was always very helpful setting up chairs etc. I took a picture of some pool side tables that had not been wiped off or cleaned during our stay. Look carefully and the nice table has lots of bird droppings. No one would think of wiping them off. I was amazed to find that many guests are regulars. I just can't imagine why.

Hotel is in a nice location for access to north beach, bars, and restaurants. Located right on Hidalgo. The rooms are clean, and cleaned daily. The pool area was also clean. The hotel is in desperate need of updating and maintenance. A fresh coat of paint would go a long way in starting to help to update the hotel. Our bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. Our refrigerator was also very noisy. Air conditioner appeared fairly new and worked great. We had a room on the second floor facing the pool. Yes, we could hear some loud music late into the night, but it didn’t keep us up. I believe it would be a different situation if you were on the street side, I think that would be very loud.

I just have to say… This hotel far surpassed my expectations! I found such a good price that I was a little hesitant as to what it would be like. However, all I can say is, I was extremely pleased, and will definitely stay here again! The staff is absolutely wonderful… welcoming, friendly and very accommodating! The rooms are large and have a mini fridge and a coffee pot. In the shower there is a shampoo and body wash dispenser. Another nice perk is the free bottled water they supply daily. They also have a hydration station to refill as often as necessary. The location is perfect! Literally a 2 minute walk from the ferry terminal, a 5 minute walk to Playa Centro and 8-10 minute walk to Playa Norte. Directly next-door is a place to rent golf carts if you choose to do so. Keep in mind there is no where to park a golf cart at the hotel. I have read where some guests have complained about the noise, but that was never a problem for us. Yes, you are on a busy street but with the air running in the room, you honestly cannot hear it. Our room even faced the street and it was never an issue. I cannot wait to return to the island and stay here again!

Pros: Wiliam and Arturo were amazing!!! They were attentive and understood our order every time. They made every meal easy and we were super appreciative. Wiliam even made a special romantic night requested by my partner. It was beachside and beautiful! They played the music we requested and we both felt so special. Cons: the breakfast staff needs some work. They really didn’t understand what we wanted most of the time. They would ask me the same question multiple times and even when I clarified, they still brought it out incorrectly. Often times I’d have to ask for the same thing multiple times (like leche) and each time they acted like it was the first time I had asked. We were let down when one of the restaurants was unavailable, closed, or reserved for a party more than half of our 9 night stay. There was a storm and we were happy to have the restaurant in house so we didn’t have to go out only to find out they had closed both restaurants 30 minutes before we came down. They gave us a letter that the ferry was stopping at 4pm, but no notification that the restaurants were closing at 7pm. When we asked the front desk they said we were notified in the letter. We were not. The letter did not mention the closure. The front desk told us the only thing close for delivery was pizza. We had to go out into town and find a place open. We found one. An inconvenience none the less when you’re paying to eat on site.

Muy cómodo lugar para descansar y a muy buen precio. La habitación es amplia con TV, refrigerador, aire acondicionado. Tiene jacuzzi dentro de cada habitación, lo cual considero muy mal, dado que en la isla hay escasez de agua y un baño en jacuzzi desperdicia cantidades impresionantes de agua. El hotel tiene alberquita, para ir a la playa caminando hay clubs de playa cerca, ya si quieres ir a punta Norte, un taxi te cobra de 100 a 150 pesos. El servicio del hotel es muy bueno, a excepción del señor de la recepción quien siempre te atiende con cara mala. Es recomendable este lugar pues si quieres descansar, esta lejos del bullicio y tráfico del centro de la isla. Relación calidad-precio muy buena.

The service is this hotel was fantastic. Particularly from Cesar the pool waiter. His service is the best I’ve received ever in a hotel. Nobody came close to his level of service. The entertainment team were also fantastic. Ernesto, Enrique, Marella and Felix done a great job everyday with all the activities. Couldn’t recommend this resort enough!
