Stayed here for a few nights for work during the 57th Karlovy Vary Film Festival. I liked this hotel although it was pretty hard to judge it properly as the entire place was PACKED due to the film festival with all areas and many floors of the hotel being used by companies and displays. It is a bit of an oddity in Karlovy Vary as it's a modern 15 floor tower / conference centre in a town full of Czech old world buildings (I can only imagine the uproar when they planned it). So it's a hotel that also has Spa / Medical Treatment / Swimming pool, thermal pool / pool party / conference centre and restaurants. It seems to be modern by local standards - I was in a superior room with a balcony on the 13th floor with great views. The room had all the mod cons available in most decent hotels, good wi-fi, USB Power outlets, nice firm bed, good regular housekeeping. One thing I noticed was that the beds didn't have a separate sheet, only a fitted sheet and then a throw over dooner - no big deal, just different. Downstairs restaurant doing breakfast / lunch / dinner with a lot of options and really good wait staff. There's a large separate building (accessed by hill climbing elevator) that has an outdoor heated pool, thermal pool, saunas, change facilities - there was also a Pool Party with DJ, bar etc on the weekend days / nights (I assume that's just in summer or just during the film festival). I believe you get complimentary access to the pools /saunas for a couple of hours every day of your stay - I used it every morning for laps, it was great. In the pool complex there's also a decent restaurant with amazing views. As I said, the place was packed and the staff all seemed to handle it well. Everything you could want outside the hotel is a short walk away and there's SO many restaurants / bars etc to choose from. Karlovy Vary wasn't on my list of places to visit, but now that I've been there I'd consider going back.

Pleasantly surprised by the hotel, which is really 4 villas inter joined. Room was spacious and elegant. Large pool, 2 saunas and pools. Room to sit outside in garden. Food was good. Really excellent breakfast buffet and dinner buffet was surprisingly good, though little expensive. Dining room self lacks charm. Very zealous staff who clear everything swiftly. Hotel was quite empty so plenty of room. If full may feel crowded. Parking is a bit expensive but little other choice nearby. Center is 10-15 min walk away. Felt nice to be able to leave the busyness behind, retreating up the hill to the hotel. A treat to stay here, feeling like a fairytale park in the hills.

Věry lovely hotel. City Center , gorgeous swimming pool with amazing view, great breakfast. Very Good Wellness zone and exclusive Thaj massage, which I really liked. The Best weekend stay I can reccommend

The hotel is located happily, just in the middle of the central promenade. The check-in is quick. The staff is OK. The house is old but quite renovated with soft carpets in the corridors that remove noise outside the room. There is a small lift to bring the suitcases up. Despite crowds outside the noise is not at all heard in the room due to the double layers windows protection. No bath, only shower. In the bathroom a few towel hooks and a shelf would come in handy. Found missing. We did not switch on TV in the room. The beds are too soft, the linen is too noisy when you turn in the bed, waking up the neighborough. The blankets are too hot for the summer time. All these resulted in our inability to sleep at nite. The breakfast was merely bad, with a very little choice. You get stale within 2 days. It was the worst breakfast we remember: untasty sausage, dab coffee from a machine. We were always running out of bread, butter, etc. and none among the service men there to help us herewith. We would choose the hotel again with a better bed quality and much improved breakfast. If not, we do not recommend La Bohemia, in spite of a very fortunate location of the romatic hotel.

We took the most amazing tour of the Grand Hotel Pupp when we were visiting Karlovy Vary for the afternoon. The Sales Department representative took the students from my Graduate studies who I went with on an extensive tour of the hotel. Here we were able to see all the rooms, public and private areas of the hotel and even get to see the restaurant and bar areas before they got busy. The Sales Rep gave an outstanding tour of the hotel and we all really enjoyed it. It was informative and gave us a view on the luxury resort industry, which many of my classmates and I want to enter after Graduate School. С отелем «Дворжак» мы познакомились ещё в 2006, когда впервые приехали на отдых в Карловые Вары. Получая в последующие годы открытки к праздникам, удивлялись, насколько все организовано. Начиная с 2021 приезжаем сюда ежегодно всей семьей. На Рецепшен Виолетта и Наталья всегда с радостью и улыбкой помогут решить любые возникающие вопросы. В ресторане Миша, Элишка и Томаш накормят вкусно и взрослых, и маленьких гостей, а Радка с Иванной обслужат просто великолепно. Им очень здорово помогают Ангелина, Наталья и Мария. В номерах Оксана уберет быстро и тогда, когда это удобно. В этом году лечение выполняет профессиональная команда: Ида, Александр, Штефан, Яна, Петра, которые уже на старте лечат своим вниманием и желанием помочь. В этом году День рождения моего сына в отеле «Дворжак» благодаря Марике был организован прекрасно. Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem hundefreundlichen Hotel, was die Auswahl oft schon wieder ein bisschen einschränkt. Beim Hotel Palacky überzeugten hauptsächlich die Lage und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Hotel befindet sich in traumhafter Lage direkt in der Stará Louka, der ”Flaniermeile” Karlsbads. Sowohl die berühmten Kolonnaden als auch der Eingang zur Seilbahn Richtung Aussichtsturm ”Diana” befinden sich fast um die Ecke. Schlafen konnte ich in den Betten erstaunlicherweise sehr gut und kann mich den Beschwerden zumindest in diesem Punkt nicht anschließen. Nun zu den Punkten, die leider negativ aufgefallen sind: Zum Check-In war die Rezeption nicht besetzt, unser Schlüssel lag zusammen mit einem Infoschreiben auf dem Tresen - das ist zwar unkompliziert, jedoch hätte jeder einfach hereinkommen und in unser gebuchtes Zimmer ”einziehen” können, da nichts vorgezeigt oder kontrolliert werden musste (wie auch?!). Das Zimmer selbst war groß und verfügte über einen zusätzlichen Flur und getrenntes Bad und WC - was ich persönlich sehr komfortabel finde. Leider wurde das Zimmer während des gesamten Aufenthalts nicht gereinigt. Es muss nicht jeden Tag ein Großputz stattfinden, das macht man zu Hause schließlich auch nicht. Auch das tägliche Wechseln der Handtücher finde ich unnötig. Aber wenn man einen Hund dabei hat und das gesamte Zimmer mit Teppich ausgelegt ist, wäre ein wenig Staubsaugen schon angebracht gewesen. Auch der Müll sollte geleert werden, denn es gab für das gesamte Zimmer lediglich einen kleinen Hygieneeimer in der Toilette - dort musste dann notgedungen alles entsorgt werden, was an Abfällen anfiel. Der Vorrat an Toilettenpapier sollte auch zwischendurch einmal kontrolliert und bei Bedarf aufgefüllt werden. In der Fensterscheibe unseres Zimmers entdeckten wir einen ziemlich großen Riss - gefährlich und unansehnlich! Was allerdings täglich gereinigt wurde, war das Restaurant welches sich im Hotel befindet. Dort wurde täglich zur Frühstückszeit gestaubsaugt, sodass man während des Essens immer dem Lärm ausgesetzt war, da sich das Restaurant - mit offener Decke - direkt unter dem Frühstückraum befindet. Selbstverständlich ist es lobenswert und auch akzeptabel, dass täglich gestaubsaugt wird, allerdings frage ich mich, ob man das nicht absprechen und anders planen kann. Frühstück gab es bis 10 Uhr - vielleicht kann man zuerst andere Tätigkeiten verrichten und ab 10 Uhr staubsaugen? Durch die Raumaufteilung des Hauses hat man zwangsläufig den Eindruck, dass direkt neben dem Esstisch gesaugt wird. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, man sollte in dieser Preis- und Hotelkategorie auch keinen Luxus erwarten. Es war ausreichend Auswahl vorhanden, es wurde immer nachgefüllt und man wurde satt - zu Hause habe ich auch keine 5 Brotsorten vorrätig, die ich täglich serviere. Ein bisschen mehr Auswahl an Obst wäre jedoch schön gewesen (es gab täglich Äpfel, aber mehr auch nicht). Leider gibt es keinen hoteleigenen Parkplatz - das sollte man
