Facilities are very good, location is good. Food is excellent. Overall a good experience.

This is a lovely hotel, with a very pretty veran***, front lawn and fresco paintings. It's laid back and has nice, good value food, including both Indian and European choices. There's a shop on site for souvenirs and ayurveda massage. The city centre and the train station aren't far, but the location is quite quiet given this.

I had a beautiful experience at Tara Niwas. Staff made me feel safe as a single woman traveller and provided a comfortable and professional hospitable experience. The home cooked food, the ponds and water lillies, the ethnic jaipur block prints as bed linen and quilt and dining hall table linen and curtains in the rooms, all added to the charm of this place. Additionally they have an option to request for a hard mattress or pillow for those with back issues with soft mattresses. Finally the music in the front courtyard and the presence of beautifully curated green spaces, created an oasis and a world away from the traffic jams of Jaipur. The proximity to Kishan bagh, a wonderful restored ecological treasure of Jaipur is of course a lovely aspect, facilitating early morning walks at the restored kishan bagh.

This has been the most interesting hotel we have been in India. If you are looking for a hotel with character in Jaipur this is it. The entrance facade is marvellous, really beautiful. Every furniture, every wall, every picture has been meticulously put together to make you feel you are in a little indian palace. It really reminds me the vibe of a riad from Marraketch but the indian version of it. The room was really beautiful as the rest of the hotel, just a shame that the windows where facing a building next door very very close, so no views, no much light, windows were really dirty and blind were broken, so we couldn't open on if them, but we didn't bother to open as we knew there was nothing to see. We used the pool, which we found it really cute in a little courtyard, but they overdid it with the chlorine. The breakfast selection wasn't as varied as others hotels we've been to, but the quality and the service was really good. The highlight of the hotel is the rooftop, beautiful sunset we had on our first night there, delicious dinner and an amazing dancing and singing perfor***ce by one of the local family, we really enjoyed it. The hotel arranged a driver for sightseeing one day - which was convenient and the driver was knowledgeable. Just be aware that despite them saying they wouldn't we were still taken to clothes shops and spice shops for the general tourist hustle. Overall a really good hotel to stay. A good congratulations to the team, specially the waiters and housekeeping for their hardwork.

This hotel is visually striking in every way, both outside and in. It's interior is well designed and contains nooks and crannies on every level. There are ***y places to sit and relax with a drink...and admire the artistic beauty. Our suite was delightful, with space to sprawl, and a huge jetted bathtub in the bathroom. It was really very comfortable indeed. The swimming pool, tucked away in a remote courtyard, surrounded by high, beautifully decorated walls had crystal clear water everyday. The staff were 100% make, which seemed unusual, and the reception guys were possibly lacking a little finesse, but they would get most jobs done with a brusque determination. What I found really useful was being able to arrange foreign currency exchange at pretty much a moment's notice. You speak to the reception guy, he makes a quick phone call, gives you the rate - which was excellent - and 15 minutes later a guy would arrive on a motorbike with a wad of notes, and the exchange completed. Very convenient. The food on the rooftop terrace was excellent. The Dinner menu was extensive. Whatever we chose was very well prepared and tasted great. Service was good. Most nights, an Indian dance and music act would provide a backdrop to your meal. The rooftop setting was a very pleasant way to finish a hectic day. All was going so well. I'd refused ice with my gin and tonics for a few days. And then on our third evening there, we both succumbed to the bartender's suggestion that ice in our cocktails would be fine because it was from (purified/filtered) water. We'd both had wine with our meal by that stage, and so were a little vulnerable to the inducement of a convincing bartender. And that was the point at which our trip became a little tricky. The following morning, I visited our bathroom frequently. Luckily, we had packed imodium, and so were able to complete all our pre-booked itineraries. But we ate very little over the next three days, including no evening meals. So, sorry bartender, that we didn't see you for our last evening meal at Umaid Bhawan, before moving on to Agra. Apparently, the hotels rely on delivery of ice in bulk from suppliers that can provide no guarantees on the source content of the ice - I found that out from our Taj Mahal tour guide a few days later. So, yeah, it was great here - up to a point. But if you are from Europe or the States - beware of a convincing late night bartender...

”The Panoramic View Room with a day bed offered breathtaking views and stylish, modern interiors. The mood lighting made the room even more beautiful and Instagram-worthy. The buffet breakfast had a lot of variety, and the food was very tasty. The guest relations officer and front desk were efficient and attentive, making our stay comfortable. The WiFi was reliable, and the location was extremely comfortable for getting around. The stay was very economical and worth every penny

When I stayed here, when I was struggling to buy a train ticket by myself, the staff member dhanya helped me by helping me buy the ticket. She was a very kind listener and cooperated quickly. She is a cute and clean woman with a beautiful smile. She will gladly support your journey when you stay here. The inn itself is clean and functional, and the rooftop has an open feel that allows you to stay freely. Please stay here when you come to Jaipur. recommendation!

We had wonderful time from check in to check out. Special care was taken by Rohit Budhlakoti Front Office ***ager. He made us feel homely. Fantastic location, Brilliant staff, who cater to your every need. Attentive, friendly, courteous and helpful. Service amongst the best I have ever experienced. Beds extremely comfortable, and rooms equipped with everything one could need. The Breakfast as well food at Okra restaurant is delicious and had multiple cuisines. The spa is fantastic highly recommended, special shout out to the therapists. Once again I want to give special thanks to Rohit Budhlakoti. Hope to stay soon again.

The stay was really amazing especially the hotel staff . I would like to mention the name of of the staff as well like Shriya Lony Harmanpreet and Sonu at the Front desk are very helpful and have great smile on their face and also preferred to come here as long as to others well . This is best property where I stayed. Loved it the services and all
