The hotel boasts high ceilings and offers great views of the Yangtze River and Gantan Lake. Its location is excellent, with a fantastic restaurant right next door. The front desk service was also top-notch; they gave us helpful tips for visiting Mount Lu. Highly recommended!

Overall, the experience was really poor. The breakfast was worse than what you'd get at a budget hotel – very few options and clearly not fresh. The service in general was subpar. For a supposed five-star hotel, it felt more like a motel.

The rooms meet a five-star standard, and the breakfast is also excellent, matching what you'd expect from a five-star hotel. Parking is convenient, the bedding is quite comfortable, and the surrounding area is decent. I recommend staying here.

Great hotel. Has a restaurant for a buffet dinner. They let us leave our luggage there for two days. The room was spacious and very pampering, including a bathtub.

Service was good. But it will be better if hotel staff can speak English especially at the breakfast area. But all in all our experience was great!

Outstanding location right next to Yangtze river, with close proximity to historical attractions and the old concession. The historical Well of Waves (浪井) is even right next to the hotel. The reception is nice and friendly, in particular 小靜who helped me navigate Lu Shan. The room is clean and the river view is impeccable.

Terrible hotel, typical Chinese hotel, 5 stars equals 2-3 European. The room smells terrible, smoky. Typical China, behind the external splendor there is a rot. I am not recommending it’s 🫣😞 Good luck in your trip

It's an old five-star hotel! The swimming pool is outdoor and open for two months during the summer. The breakfast is a bit lacking compared to other hotels, but the towels are new. Everything else is fine, good value for money, and the welcome fruit is a plus.

Located by the river, the hotel offers stunning river views right outside the door. The back door leads to Langjing Square, and many attractions are within walking distance. There are bus stops nearby for convenient transportation, and Jiujiang Railway Station is a short taxi ride away. The hotel's decor is on the luxurious side, with spacious rooms and bathrooms featuring bathtubs. The old-fashioned maroon furniture creates a somewhat somber atmosphere in the rooms, which lack a main light and have insufficient lighting. All amenities are complete, and the breakfast is plentiful, delicious, and the service is warm and professional.

I just came back from traveling to Jiujiang yesterday and stayed at the Jiujiang Xinhua Jianguo Hotel in Jiujiang City for a total of three nights. The front desk clerk Xiao Li was very nice👌🏻 and gave us a free upgrade. Thank you! The customer service is also very good👌🏻👌🏻. The cleaning🧹 was very clean, and fruits were delivered three times👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻. Breakfast is very rich. Location: Excellent. It is very close to the famous scenic spots in Jiujiang City, Xunyang Tower, Suojiang Tower and Pipa Pavilion. There are buses directly at the door to reach these attractions. Standing upstairs in the hotel, you can enjoy the Yangtze River! Next to the hotel are Langjing, Yuliang Tower and Guanying Tower. Behind you is Dazhonglou Pedestrian Street. It is also very close to the former site of Jiujiang ** and Gantang Lake, namely Li Gongdi, Yanshui Pavilion, Guanyin Pavilion, and Sixian Bridge, and can be reached on foot or by bus.
