Hotel Romantik di Koh Chang

First time book this hotel but many time visited koh chang. Hotel location is not really good in term of beach area. It is in between the exit point of a small cannel so whenever i want to get to the sea, i need to walk to the near by hotel to enter the cleaner water. Staff and service are excellent. Breakfast quality is pretty decent compare to other hotels that im visiting.

We have spent 6 nights in Santhiya Tree Koh Chang, even though it's rainy season, we still LOVE it there! Design: we stay at the Pool Suite Water View, almost whole building made by carved wood, traditional Thai design and lots of character, looks very beautiful & classic. Staffs: very friendly and excellent service Pools: 60m long pool at the breakfast restaurant with some seats facing the pool & peaceful mountain view. Another pool right in front of the beach & close to the villas. Both pools clean & big. Santhiya Tree use pa kao ma thai sarong as beach towel, love it! Food: delicious buffet breakfast & lots of variety. Food & drinks at the Chantara Restaurant is high quality & very yummy. The duo who sings at the restaurant are brilliant singers, you won't get bored with their performance. Room: spacious & clean, lots of electric plugs & even beach bag for use. They burn lemongrass/ citronella oil in the bathroom to keep mozzies away & room smells good. Massage at their spa: very good & reasonable price, sound of the waves makes the massage so relaxing, must try. Shuttle bus to main street: every 2 hrs they can drop you or pick up from main street as there resort is not at the road side. Not sure if it's because of low season, hope the shuttle service can be more frequent. Thank you everybody at Santhiya Tree Koh Chang for the great service and smiles. Will definitely come back for another holiday and highly recommend if you're looking for a fantastic place to stay! This beautiful place takes your stress away :) P.S. there's a small part of the road right outside the resort leading to the entrance is unsealed with lots of potholes, pretty bumpy for cars and their shuttle bus, suggest Santhiya Tree do something with it.

The hotel lobby here has a great view, but other facilities are really average. There are not many choices for meals including breakfast, but their staff are very kind. Furthermore, not having its own beach is a major drawback, after all, its location Already at the beach. We booked a double bed, but both children couldn't get up to have breakfast, but they forced us to have breakfast for four people, which made me feel a little uncomfortable.

This place is heaven on earth! The welcome at reception sets the tone for the rest of your stay! We arrived with back packs from Pattaya and We were treated like VIPs. Absolute top class! Staff are amazing! Food was amazing. The rooms are outstanding and the local town is warm and friendly! The random visits from monkeys is an amazing addition! But be aware, they actually do creep up on you and open your room doors!! Staff aren’t joking! We’ve stayed on many islands and many places in Thailand but our expectations were exceeded here. The grounds are well kept, the surroundings are superb! My only disappointment was that the tides were high so we didn’t have any beach during our stay! (No fault of Sylvan!) I just hope the cost doesn’t get too high that they price us out of spending another break there next year!

Traveling to Koh Chang on Songkran Day, if the Accor Group uses benefits, it must be considered. Mercure Koh Chang Hideaway booked a Standard room but was upgraded to a Deluxe Seaview room and received Platinum benefits. Quite complete. The room is okay. I like it because I have to pay only 1,402 baht per night. The room is full due to a long holiday. I'm glad I upgraded. I have reserved 3 rooms, there are welcome drinks for all 3 rooms. For dinner, most of the guests leave their stomachs at the Buffet Hotel because it is Songkran Festival. Accor Plus cannot use the discount at all. The price is not expensive, only 530 baht per person, but.. Phra Chuay Thai food is delicious. Anyone staying here recommends trying Thai food. The happy hour here is satisfyingly long from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Anyone who eats the buffet will receive a buy 1 free 1 promotion until 10:00 p.m., very worthwhile. The highlight of this place is a lot of photo angles, and taking beautiful photos, but the beach is not okay, which is a weak point. The sea water is hardly played because there are a lot of rocks. I mostly stay at the swimming pool 100% recommend if anyone sleeps here to relax and snorkel on the last day, come back to swim at the pool, take chic photos and eat buffet 🙂 Breakfast is quite suitable for Thai people, focusing on spicy Thai food. It also has my favorite pizza. The hotel has a Starbucks on the beach but does not participate in a star or membership program. For me, April 13-15 is a rest day. I'm pretty happy here. Let's just say for Accor members or group members. If anyone comes to Koh Chang, recommend here. You can get both nights and points. If there is any problem during your stay, I suggest you don't wait, hurry and share with him. He knows the problem and is ready to take care of it immediately. Come to Koh Chang next time, Mercure is still our choice.

Very nice hotel. The staff was friendly and attentive. The swimming pool was great, however the Waterslide was not working. The Jacuzzi in the room is not good as the water jet does not really hit on the body. Breakfast was very good. Location wise it is walking distance to most restaurants and shops.

Friendly, attentive staff with great service mind. Delicious food. I like their landscape design, however the interior design style makes the place looks a bit cheap in my opinion. The room is well kept and very clean, nothing to complain.

3 ème séjour au kacha resort,1 année passé et 2 cette année ,l hotel est tres bien juste superbe aussi bien au niveau chambre, top et très bien équipé, restaurant très très bien ,le staff est très pro et au petit soin et adorable avec les enfants,les 2 piscine sont superbe avec une préférence pour celle du bord de mer,petite déjeuner au buffet génial en pouvant le prendre face à la mer, je remercie toute les personne travaillant au kacha pour leur professionnalisme et leur gentillesse ,

This time-beaten resort is overpriced. It is no on Kaie Bae beach, it is relatively close to it. The hotel's beach itself is poor. It is very narrow, with sharp rocks from the very first steps in the water and quite shallow on low tide. You have to go in quite a bit to start swimming without hitting some submerged rock with your hands and feet. Bring water shoes for swimming. The facilities are rundown. A single restaurant serves a good breakfast (included) and mediocre dinners (for extra $$). Two pools are boring. The property should spend some money on redecoration and a general cleanup. The ”adults-only” reservoir is filled with dirty water, of course no one hangs around that place. The villas are OK, but their walls do not hold any sound inside. If you are a couple, you have to rely on people not being too inquisitive and passing by your hut quickly enough. It is instructive that, once you book this property, your money is seized. You cannot cancel and get a refund. The only option is to change the dates and pay the difference, if any. All trips are to be paid in cash, as the property management apparently have no idea how the modern credit system works. When I needed to pay something with the credit card, they insisted I should sign a blank form authorization for my cc use (with my passport number and all the personal data) - and no sum to be charged was included anywhere on the form! It's like signing a blank cheque, surely enough, I had to refuse. As other reviewers note, the overall quality is OK, quite passable, yet the idea that you could get a substantially better accommodation on a better beach for the same price or less is discouraging. Those who consider GajaPuri should consider 5-star resorts on the island and compare prices. You might be surprised.

Nice and quiet We had been this place and we decide to come back because of it really nice hotel ,the thing we like is staff very nice and friendly, room are big and clean , quite pool area, beautiful garden. A bit far from restaurant and shop but you take motorbike to go around the island just contact at reception, also our activities like snorkeling, elephant trip .
