11/04-19/04/2021 tarihleri arasında eşimle birlikte maldivlere tatil planlaması yaparken ”haydimaldivlere.com” sitesini bulduk.oncesinde biraz tedirgin yaklaştık ancak daha sonra ebru hanımın ilgisi ve yardımlarıyla tedirginligimizi aşıp kalacağımız yer konusunda araştırmaya geçtik yine Ebru hanımın yardımı ve tavsiyesi ile mercure kooddoo otelini seçtik Maldivler anlatılamaz ancak yaşanır otel ve özellikle otel personeli muhteşem müthiş derecede Güler yüzlü ve yardımseverler tabii ki bu arada azda olsa anlasabilecek kadar yabancı dil özellikle ingilizce bilmeniz gerekiyor.yemekler konusunda eşimle birlikte tedirginligimiz vardı ancak yemeklerin tadına bakınca bayıldık, müthişti. Bu arada Türkiye otellerindeki gibi aşırı çeşit yok ancak tüm yiyecekler tatlılar ve meyvalar muhteşemdi. Biz tatilinizin ilk 3 gecesini sahil villası 4 gecesini ise şu üstünde havuzlu villa olarak değerlendirdik,her ikisinde birbirinden güzeldi. Yazacak anlatacak o kadar şey var ki ancak en güzeli bunları orada yaşamak. Umarım dileyen herkes birgün Maldivler e gidebilir. Bizim için bir hayaldi gerçekleşti, tabiki şunu da belirtmek isterim bu tatil çift olarak yapılırsa güzel...

Arrival process We arrived at 1425 and were booked on the 1815 internal flight, they met us on arrival and rushed us through to move us onto an earlier flight at 1435 which was running late (departed at 1630). Our luggage was 22kgs each, but we were not charged at the airport (maybe because they were rushing us through). The flight is an hour and then you are met and taken to the boat which takes about 10 minutes. The jetty arrives on Dhigurah (will refer to as D island) and we were taken in a buggy over to Falhumaafushi (will refer to as F island) which took about 10 minutes. During check-in it became apparent that everything is already booked up, we were staying for 10 nights from the 16th of Feb and had booked 5 nights in a water bungalow and then 5 nights in a water bungalow with pool. We had enquired about Vibes private dining before arrival for which we had received menus, we asked if we could book this for our last night on the 25th for my husband’s birthday and was told it was full for the duration of our stay, you can imagine our dismay, why were we not told to book in advance? Also, you are allowed to eat in the 2 ala carte restaurants, but only 1 visit to each is permitted, these had been pre-booked by the hotel ,so we could not change them to dates we preferred as everything was booked for the next 10 nights. Eventually they were able to book Vibes for the 23rd and an extra night in the ala carte on the 25th for the birthday. We found this a bit too much after travelling for so long on arrival. The hotel needs to change its policy so that you cannot pre-book before arrival or advise everyone to do so to avoid disappointment. We were taken to our room 324, at this time it was raining very heavily, and we found our suitcases left outside the room. Once opened, 95% of all our clothes were wet, this was beyond comprehension, why would you leave bags outside a room in a location that is susceptible to unexpected rain, especially when the room is not occupied. We went back to reception to speak to the manager, he agreed to get all our clothes, washed, dried, and ironed to be returned by the following evening (2 of my husband’s shirts were ruined from the ironing as it left them shiny, which were brand new). He also upgraded our room to a deluxe overwater villa with pool (will comment later on the room). He said that he would change the process on bags being left outside rooms to avoid this in future, but we saw bags left outside doors so was disappointing to see something so easily fixed was not done. Rooms Our initial room was 324 water bungalow on the sunset side. The villa is a nice size, but there is only air conditioning in the bedroom, the living area and bathroom only have ceiling fans so would feel very hot (were glad we were not ill as that compounded with a hot toilet would not have been pretty). Melange 1. Surf and turf: udang besar dan daging udang galah dibekukan dan tidak begitu menarik. Selepas memanggang, daging itu ternyata separa basah, iaitu padam. 2. Cadangan: untuk pemanggang, masak mengikut pesanan dan bukannya menyediakan makanan dan biarkan di bawah lampu pemanas. i.e. Potongan daging kambing, daging babi, siakap panggang dsb. Makanan yang baru dipanggang lebih enak dan mengekalkan kualiti yang tinggi. Makanan panggang yang ditinggalkan di bawah lampu pemanas menjadi sama ada basah atau terlalu keras. 3. Cadangan yang sama untuk wafel sarapan pagi: buat mengikut pesanan daripada biarkan di atas pinggan sedia untuk digunakan. Contoh perkhidmatan yang hebat: 1. Mariana membantu menyediakan baldi ais champagne untuk kami walaupun ulasan bulan madu itu pada asalnya tidak didaftarkan oleh trip.com dan pullman. Dia sangat membantu dan mengingati apa yang pelanggan katakan. Markah teratas dan amat dihargai! 2. Semua pemandu buggy memberi salam semasa menjemput dan ada juga yang keluar dari jalan mereka untuk mengundur supaya kami dapat merakamkan sinar manta di perairan cetek di luar vila kami. Benar-benar layak mendapat teg perkhidmatan yang hebat! 3. Semua pelayan yang berkhidmat di semua restoran sentiasa bertanya sama ada kita mahu air bermula. Rasanya seperti SOP tetapi kami menyukainya! Konsisten dan servis dengan senyuman! Benar-benar pengalaman yang hebat dan ingin kembali lagi!
