Hotel di Pantai Railay, Krabi

Mieszkalismy w Tropical Willa Plus. To przestronny, komfortowy dom położony wśród tropikalnej roślinności. Górą wśród drzew przemykały stada małp które ochrona przegania ale, ku naszej radości , kilka razy udalo się nam zobaczyć. Śniadania są średniej jakości. Brak naturalnych soków mango czy ananasowego. Plaża Raylay jest przepiękna ale do około godziny 10. Potem pojawiają się w duzych ilosciach chalaśliwe long boty i tłumy odwiedzajacych to miejsce turystów. Jeszcze piękniejsza, a zapewne najpiękniejsza na świecie, jest sąsiednia plaża Phra Nang. Najlepiej pojawić się na niej rano kiedy duża część jest w cieniu skał i nie ma tlumu turystow.

Booked one night and then changed to other hotel. Mainly reason is the room is rather old, pillow very hard, bathroom is smelly and make the whole room smelly. Service was very good, roof top pool is cool but with this price I would choose other options. I found Avatar hotel which is only 3 mins walking away and decide to stay there for the rest of my holiday. Same price much much better.

Kami mempunyai penginapan yang hebat, hotel ini sangat bagus dan pantainya menakjubkan. Perlu diingat bahawa untuk meninggalkan hotel, anda perlu berjalan ekor panjang ke Jeti Ao Nang. Dalam penerimaan mereka memudahkan pengangkutan, pembayaran sebelumnya. Restorannya juga sangat bagus. Dan terdapat banyak pilihan di sekitar...

We stayed at this resort in March 2023 having reviewed all local hotels in detail in advance on trip advisor/ google. We are delighted we did this as we were very happy with this hotel. To summarise: - Location: Railay is beautiful and by being on the quieter part you get the benefit of being quieter and less touristy, whilst still being within 5 mins walk to main part. Much better to stay here that Ao Bang Beach. Railay is fantastic! You can reach there by boat, but can be expensive to get back after 6pm (we paid 2k baht as could not find anyone coming back at 10pm) - Pool and lounge area: Stunning view, good size pool and pool bar! Be careful with food as we got robbed by a monkey, rather amusing! - Staff: incredibly polite! - Food: we did not have dinner but the breakfasts were superb (as a meat eater). However, my wife is vegan and struggled. I would recommend the hotel provide at least a few options for vegans. Veganism is growing world wide and there is an opportunity to get ahead here! - Hotel room: our deluxe grand room was a great size and stunning. Only issue was it was slightly dark but nothing can be done about this as we were on ground floor. I would also recommend more water be given for guests in the warmer season. - Hotel grounds: breath taking. I recall our second night coming home at night for the first time from a different angle saying this place looks stunning only to be pleasantly told by my wife that this was in fact our hotel! :) - Top tips. 1) MUST Walk to the main beach and ask at the boat hut counter (on the beach, a little stand) for a private early sunrise 4 island tour. You will need to get there by 6am. We did this and had the islands to ourselves. It was incredible. I would have paid 5 times the amount we paid. 2) you can do Railay/nearby area in 3 days. 3) if you come outside of dec-feb it can be a little quiet. We were slightly disappointed how quiet it was. All in all, great hotel and hope the above helps future tourists!

This resort is backpacker / budget quality at 4* rates due to it's location. Whilst the location is perfect and the view from the pool is stunning with the dramatic limestone cliff backdrop, the accommodation severely lets this place down. The rooms are clean but seriously need upgrading and maintenance:- broken beds, mould on the wall, sewage smell in bathroom, old fashioned huge TV with no aerial connection (no tv), locks on doors were not secure and no safe in the room (valuables carried on person at all times), plugs tap3d up ir inaccessible, sheets and towels with holes in. Breakfast: If you only want fruit, yoghurt and museli, it's fine. The hot food was not nice, awful instant coffee, no fruit juice - only watered down orange squash. Ants all over clean plates. Check in: The rooms were not ready after check in time. Pool: The pool area is lovely however, the pool water was milky and you couldn't see the bottom. The pool lougers were very hard. There was a huge pile of rubbish being burned daily in the garden area. There is no spa.

This is just a lovely place. From the rooms, the beaches, the service, the food, the landscaping: just about everything is perfect. The two of us stayed in Deluxe Pavilion 309; this had a nice view of the greenery around us from the 2nd floor large window. We preferred not to sit in the patio area on the 1st floor because of a lack of privacy. The two main beaches (Phranang and Railay) are both lovely, we preferred swimming in Phranang and walked on both of them, Phranang was about a 10 minute walk for us and Railay about a 5 minute walk. The walks through the property are just lovely, they have done a fantastic job of landscaping with all kind of tropical plants, but we also took advantage of the golf cart rides when it was raining. The breakfast (which is included) is served till 11 am and has a lot of nice a la carte and buffet style options. We didn't go the Grotto (did not look so special to us and seemed overpriced), but ate at the other two hotel restaurants: Krua Phranang and Raitalay Terrace; both were excellent (and had lovely views of the beach) and we also enjoyed the cocktails at the 4-6 pm happy hour at Raitalay Terrace. The swimming pool is lovely and also has a great veiw of Railay beach. The service at Rayavadee was just exceptional; we want to give a shout out to Joy, who was our server during breakfast, she was just fantastic. We were here during the off-season, the prices are a little lower, and while it did rain a fair amount when were here, we still got to the beach a couple of times a day. All in all, a fantastic stay, we will be back.

The location of this hotel is very good, just near the West Beach Pier. You can take a boat from Ao Nang Beach and it's only a two-minute walk after getting off the boat. It's about a five-minute walk to East Beach Pier. Check in went smoothly. When you arrive before check-in time, you can store your luggage first. The hotel's garden is beautiful, the room is spacious, and the swimming pool is beautiful. The restaurant is facing the beach, there are only three or four staff members, which seems a bit busy.

Absolutely loved our 4 days here and am surprised by the negative reviews. Yes it's a bit of a walk from town but that means you get away from any noise and puts you in the middle of trees surrounded by monkeys, birds, squirrels and monitor lizards etc - just fantastic. Didn't have single bug in our rooms and the staff were helpful and friendly. The inclusive breakfast was also pretty good and welcome to save another 20 min walk in to town each day. The state of the steep paths up to the bungalows also means that it won't suit everyone and may not be the best choice with lots of luggage or if not steady on your feet but we loved it (with light rucksacks..).

Let me start off with saying that the property itself is really cool. That being said, the management is in the ‘Hospitality’ business but have 0 ‘hospitality’ capability. To share some background, I was booked for 3 night stay at Railay Phutawan Resort (RPR) but unfortunately, within an hour of checking in at 2pm, I had to check out and fly out as I had a death in my family. I reached out to RPR to request them for a refund of the amount spent for the 3 days considering I didn’t spend a single night there. I acknowledged and agreed that they should charge me for 1 night and maybe even 2 nights if they feel that's fair. I was hopeful for quick communication and maybe a bit of sympathy for the circumstances considering I shared the death certificate, outbound flights and all other proof with their management but I had high hopes. The management was vey slow to respond and when they eventually responded, their response was ‘you need to read terms & conditions before you book’ and ‘if someone was to cancel the reservation at the last minute, why is there an expectation for the resort to pay anything back’. I indicated that I totally agree if there is not a strong enough reason with proof, they are well within their right to not refund anything at all, but I have shared clear evidence of the same. Eventually, they said that management will look into it again and get back to me. It has been 25 days since I first reached out to them and checked out and there is still no resolution and they have just ignored my last few messages. Safe to say that there is no expectation of a refund or response from RPR or that I will ever recommend them to anyone or book this resort again. What’s worse is that all the other hotels/resorts understood the situation and refunded the full amount back. Even tours that we had booked the very next day were understanding and sympathetic. Shame as I was hoping to stay at RPR in the future. Wouldn't recommend if you are looking for good service and a resort that cares about guests!

This resort offers a breathtaking view and somehow made me feel like I am co-existing with nature. I loved how scenic our mornings were with the view of the ocean and the majestic islands across the resort. There were really cute resident monkeys as well and were pretty chill. They even had free breakfast, it was simple but decent enough to get the day started.
