"The hostel is well located and bed is super comfortable. I hadn’t had this good night of sleep for a while. The showers were also very clean. The only thing I can point out as a better service was that they out me on the 3rd floor and my bag was super heavy (I’ve been travelling for a while) and they didn’t offer to help me with luggage up the 3 floors which was extremely challenging carrying 26kg with me"

"Only breakfast is prepared at this hotel as there really is no restaurant on site. However, there are an abundance of small restaurants in this location, so food is really not a problem. The hotel has a wonderful swimming pool and great place for relaxation if you need to get a way from the stresses of life. It is just a short walk from Tonsai beach and this is indeed a great beach with clear water and beautiful mountainous scenery surrounding the location of the resort. There are no cars, trucks, motorbikes but everything is a short walking distance away. To get here, a short water taxi ride is required from the town of Ao nang. Again, this is was no issue. the scenery from the water is stunning, so you'll enjoy the short 10 - 15 minute ride. The rooms were very clean and internet works well here. Staff, while polite are not necessarily friendly."

"A truly delightful stay! The hotel boasts a serene and elegant ambiance with brand-new, comprehensive facilities. The housekeeping was meticulous, leaving the room spotless. Breakfast offered a wide variety and tasted fantastic. The staff were all incredibly friendly and eager to assist. Excellent value for money – definitely worth every penny!"

"Hotel is located 10-15 mins walk from the active nightlife of Ao Nang and beach. If you are used to walk then it’s fine, else rent a scooter. Clean hotel and rooms too. Breakfast good but limited options. Room cleaning service tag is to be hanged out on the door knob only before 10am that’s the only concern. They don’t have napkins, toothbrush and paste, only bath towels. Hair dryer available. Majority of the guests are from western country. They were kind and nice. Swimming pool is located outdoor. If you book a room make sure you book it on top floor to see a wonderful view like this in picture. I’d rate the hotel 4.0/5. Amenities can be improved to get 5/5."

"Large, clean, good breakfast, close to the river and to river night market, as well as city night market and mall. I’ve read complaints about the staff somewhere. They are not going to be your nannies. They do their jobs effectively and that’s it. There’s nothing to complain about, this is not a 5-star hotel and we all know it. If anything, the air was too cold in the room."

"Unfortunately, we couldn't tell whether the pool was in or out of commission, but if it is ready, it's huge and would be a great place to relax. The hotel itself is on a street with plenty of restaurants, massages and the usual Thai amenities. The room was large and clean, but you will need to keep an eye out for mosquitoes, but that goes without saying. Staff were efficient and friendly on the front desk, and other than checking in and out we had no need to deal with them at all. It's about a 10minute walk to the beach, or about 25 minutes to the start of the Monkey Trail. Good hotel for the price!"

"Arrived to be given a standard room. I went back to reception to explain I booked and paid for pool view. The lady at reception told me that those rooms are only sold by her at reception not by online. I had to get hold of ***********.  After me trying to show her my confirmation number and the description of my room, she did move me to a pool view.  I also tried to tell her I would upgrade and pay for a pool walk out room over the standard room she gave us,  but she told me they were all booked — even though we never saw anyone in those rooms the 3 nights we stayed there…? Rooms are clean and quiet. Location is centre to everything. The lady at reception is a sweetheart once day 1 was over. I’m guessing maybe language barrier was our problem as she was sweet on day 2-3.  I probably wouldn’t book via *********** as i’m seeming to have this problem over afew hotels were i book and pay gor a type but when I arrive it’s not available and i get no credit back for a lesser value room."

"I had a pleasant stay with friends. 100 baht deposit per key which is reasonable. There are 4 toilet cubicles and 3 shower rooms. There are two levels and I stayed at the lower floor. Less than 15mins walk down to the beach and 2 mins walk away from 7-11. Every bed has socket point and light. The bedsheet is a little too small for the leather mattress so it kept coming off. My comment is hopefully they can provide a place to hang towels for the lower floor rooms."

The room was clean and large and the enormous balcony with views over the mountains and the sea was the stand out feature for us - we spent a lot of time on the balcony! The pool was refreshing although unusual wedged between the 2 hotels with nowhere to sit or sunbathe! There were issues with electrical supply which affected the WiFi and water supply but the hotel staff were quick to inform us and apologise - there had been severe monsoon rains in the days before the issues started. We were eventually moved to the next door hotel to an equivalent room at no extra charge, while repairs were done - I hope its all fixed now for this lovely team of people.

I stayed at Pakasai Resort in Ao Nang, Krabi for 2 nights (June 22–24) and couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful experience—especially for my birthday! I originally only hoped for a room upgrade, but the resort went far beyond my expectations and made my celebration truly unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly warm and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, and the surprises didn’t stop there. On my birthday, I was greeted with a beautiful birthday cake, a thoughtful message arranged on the bed, and genuinely heartfelt service throughout the day. I also booked dinner at GAIA, the resort’s own restaurant, and was treated to a free cocktail to celebrate. The atmosphere, service, and food were all excellent—it was the perfect birthday dinner. The resort itself is cozy and peaceful, surrounded by lush greenery that makes you feel close to nature. The pool area is lovely and relaxing, and the entire resort has a calm, welcoming vibe. Overall, I felt truly taken care of during my stay. I highly recommend Pakasai Resort to anyone visiting Ao Nang, especially if you're looking for a place that combines comfort, nature, and genuinely caring service. I’m already thinking about coming back!

GGuest UserThe hotel is a good price and the deluxe premier room with a balcony tub is wonderful. As with any 5 star resort hotel, it’s further out of town and grab/taxi takes a while to get but you can schedule in advance. Food in the hotel is good. Lots of choice. Slightly on the pricier side but still not too bad. Spa and massage is very expensive (for Thailand massage price) so we have that a miss. 2,000 thb head massage for 60min. Bangkok would be half of that. This includes happy hour 10-2pm 30% discount. Full body 3k. But having a jacuzzi on the balcony of the room was very worth it. Breakfast is great. Would I say here again? Yes! Is it 5 star? Yes! Is it value for money? Yes! Just be prepared for longer travel distance and time and slightly more expensive food and drinks and spa. P.s. it’s on the beach directly!! A smaller boutique 5* resort. Pools are nice and overall resort didn’t feel crowded.

What really surprised me my child became really Ill and we panicked, went to the hotel reception to get medical attention and within 2 minutes they are at our door rushing our child to the hospital, stayed with us and explained and translated all the procedures and after a few hours my child was stable and was allowed to be discharged, the hotel took us back and anything that was needed they took care of us and always checking up on him, that was a call beyond duty... thank you!

It's not directly on the sand, but it's close enough to enjoy the breeze all day and easily go back and forth between the beach and the pool. The resort is very kids-friendly — the highlight for us was the pool area with water slides, which kept the children happily entertained. The size of the resort is just right — not too big and not too small — making it easy to manage with kids. We booked connecting rooms for our group of four, which worked perfectly. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped. The only hiccup was on our last day when the whole building had no water supply, so we couldn’t shower before checking out (a funny memory now!). Location: The resort is slightly away from Ao Nang Beach and the main street market, but still accessible. Tuk-tuk rides are easy to get and cost around 100 THB, which was convenient. Massage & Spa: Like most places in Thailand, finding a good massage isn’t an issue — there are plenty of shops next to each other near the hotel, and the massages were great! Overall, I’m happy with our stay and would recommend Ananta Burin Resort to families looking for a kid-friendly, comfortable place in Krabi.

The size of the room was generous and provided ample space to relax and unwind. The surrounding natural scenery was also quite pleasant, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere. One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the private pool. It was well-maintained and offered a refreshing and enjoyable experience. I appreciated having this exclusive amenity to enjoy at my leisure. The staff members at Andakiri Pool Villa were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They were always available to assist with any inquiries or requests, which added to a positive overall experience. However, I did encounter a significant issue during my stay - an ant infestation in the room. Unfortunately, there were possibly hundreds of ants crawling on different surfaces, including the bed and various other areas where ants are certainly unwelcome. This was particularly disappointing, as it detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay. It was clear that more attention needed to be paid to keeping the facilities clean and addressing this infestation promptly. While Andakiri Pool Villa has many positive aspects, such as the spacious room, pleasant natural surroundings, and helpful staff, it is essential that the issue of the ant infestation is urgently addressed. Our family of six, including two adults and four children, found the family room spacious and comfortable, perfectly accommodating our needs. The room was cozy, providing a serene retreat after our daily adventures. The resort’s staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a warm smile. We particularly appreciated the complimentary shuttle service to Ao Nang Beach, operating every two hours starting at noon, which made exploring the area convenient. While the beachfront location offered stunning views, it’s worth noting that the beach itself isn’t ideal for swimming due to its rocky nature. However, the multiple swimming pools on-site more than made up for this, providing ample opportunities for relaxation and play. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of options, ensuring a satisfying start to each day. The tranquil and calming atmosphere of the resort made our stay truly rejuvenating. Although it may not boast a five-star rating, the quality of service and amenities provided a delightful experience.
