Penginapan Echarm di Kunming

The drivers thy do the shuttle service are obviously under stress, they seem to be impatient and rude. No one wants to gr to an angry driver after landing maybe from a delayed flight overnight. A bit of compassion towards the customers would be appreciated and it would look better for the hotel image. Beside this, the hotel is clean and very close to the airport and not overpriced so happy with it overall. Breakfast is below average , better options in the airport for sure.

Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The room was exactly as shown in the photos—clean, comfortable, spacious, and well maintained, making our stay very enjoyable. The hotel's location is fantastic, just a short walking distance from Nanping Pedestrian Street, the heart of Kunming, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and attractions nearby. What truly made our stay special was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Every day, we were pleasantly surprised with a plate of fresh fruit and Kunming's famous flower pastries, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. A very special thank you to Xiao Yin, who went above and beyond to assist us. She kindly helped us receive and manage the many packages we had delivered during our stay and was always patient, cheerful, and incredibly helpful. Her outstanding service made a big difference, and we are truly grateful. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kunming and would happily stay here again.

A great place to stay and the service staff is helpful. The welcome drink and fruits were a beautiful gesture. We left our additonal luggage with them and came back a week later and they remembered us. This is personal touch and warmth to any guests. 👍 WeChat us the info and places to visit when we were there and this helps us a lot. 👍

The price (208 RMB, about €25) and the central location—near Kunming Central Station and just a 45-minute metro ride from the airport—led me to book Echarm Hotel for one night. Check-in was quick, and the staff were friendly and efficient. They accommodated our requests for two extra pillows and a room away from the elevator to ensure quietness. Complimentary coffee and tea are available in the lobby. We did not opt for breakfast, which is optional and costs 29 CNY per person. The room was clean and equipped with a kettle, three types of tea, instant coffee, and two bottles of water, although you can request additional bottles both in the hall and near the elevator exit. There is only one elevator, so you might have to wait or share the lift occasionally. The area is central and lively, very close to Dashuying metro station (I recommend Exit A as it’s on the same side of the street). There is also a local night market nearby (watch out for passing motorcycles and cars), located near the old tram tracks, continuing from Exit C of the metro. Nothing to complain about—the room was perfect. The only downside is the absence of a minibar, but this seems common in many 3- and 4-star hotels in China.

第一次住這家酒店，環境還不錯，免費升級了一個房間，空間很大，房間很乾凈，也很温馨，有個大沙發特別方便，衞生間有一次性馬桶墊特別細心，給帶孩子的我們提供方便。前台也很熱情，服務很好。下次還會選擇的。
