Clean premises but very strict owner who did not like me laying my bag on the bed as it was 'fragile'?? Comfortable beds but very poor quality bed linen. No bath towels but there are tea towels in the shared kitchen for emergencies. Lots hot water for a super long relaxing shower. Single beds but we moved them together. A quirky basic stay rather than star rated comfort.

This hotel is incredible ! It’s brand new, rooms are very upmarket, great facilities, quality of food (breakfast needs to be experienced to be believed), gym was excellent but it is the service that is absolutely mind blowing ! We haven’t experienced anything like it decades ! The check in experience was first class, room service first class and the concierge managed to surprise us every single day - running after us with umbrellas, chasing down taxi’s in the rain, big smiles every day and they were all really nice to our 5 Year old daughter (and it was genuine) ! So, we left our passports in the room safe by mistake - they called as soon as they found them (by which time we were in Tokyo) - the hotel manager, Kiyoshi Gomamoto sent one of their staff (Kokoro) to Tokyo hi hand deliver/return our passports to us, she was a lovely lady ! We are so appreciative and will cherish the memories from this hotel ! Thank you Kokoro, Kiyoshi and everyone at Fauchon. Highly recommended !

任天堂原辦公樓改成的酒店,有很多細節設計。服務非常親切禮貌,mini bar免費,樓下飲料免費,還有免費的下午茶和宵夜。裏京阪五條站大概走8分鐘。床舒服,用的備品之類的也都不錯。 不足可能是酒店紀念品太少了,滿足不了任天堂粉絲需求。以及二樓的library 其實東西很少,參觀性不強。 另外,攜程訊息有誤,早上提檔時間應該是11點,包含早餐的房間才是12點。

この度ホテルオークラ京都に泊まらせて頂き、本当に嬉しかったのです。ロケーションもちろん、設備と食事など、全て最高でした。心を込めて暖かくしてくれたスタッフのみんなさんにお礼を申し上げたいと思います。どうもありがとうございました。まだ機会が有れば、是非泊まらせてください!オークラのおもてなしは日本の代表として、とても素晴らしいです! ps 朝食が美味しくて、食べ過ぎて、お昼ごはんも省略しました。

We spent 2 nights in mid-December. Summary: Room was nice/OK but the front desk staff was unhelpful and with minimal English or Japanese language skills. Despite all of the pictures of food/restaurant on the website - there is no longer a restaurant and that area is now storage, just past the check-in desk. They really should update the site to reflect the amenities and options they provide. The room was nice and we enjoyed the outdoor tub during our 2 night stay. Given the nightly price of this hotel, the front desk staff was completely useless! Perhaps the property is under new ownership because when we were there, it appeared to be staffed by a Nepali family/group and the gentleman at the front desk had very limited English skills and was unable or unwilling to help us with the most basic questions. Breakfast options are limited and it was like pulling teeth to find out those options from the front desk. There is no longer a restaurant on-site so any food they provide is from an offsite restaurant. The front desk staff have to take your order in their very limited language skills and then place the oder for the next day. Good luck finding out the options or changing your mind. We tried to change breakfast for our 2nd morning at 11:30 AM, the day before and we were told it was already too late.

今回が2回目の宿泊です。 今年5月10日に開業5周年を迎えたばかりでフロントのそばに祝花が飾ってあります。 今回も伏見稲荷大社の御祭のためには泊まりました。。今回の御祭は「御田植祭」です。 伏見稲荷大社はホテルから徒歩20分ほどです。 部屋はシングルベッドで、正方形のテーブルと椅子がベッドの横に置かれてあります。 別に幅50cm*170cmほどの細長いテーブルと椅子もあります。 部屋は広めで、バゲッジラックもあり使い勝手がよいです。 浴室は部屋にくらべると狭い感じがしますが、窮屈な感じはありません。 空気清浄機・冷蔵庫・電気ケトルはありますが、金庫はありません。 ホテルのフロントは親切・丁寧です。教えて貰って夕食はそば処「上鳥羽たくみや」で「粗挽き十割そば」を食べました。美味しかった。
