The Weekend Langkawi

Communication with Tammy (the owner) was great from the start. We were picked up on time from the airport for a small charge. We also paid for an early check in which was easily arranged. When we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome and lots of tips on how to spend our stay. We used the free bicycles to ride into town and get some lunch (lots of variety and choice). The pool was really pleasant to spend time around with a few sun loungers and umbrellas for shade. The rooms themselves were so comfortable and modern. Our room was really clean, as was the bathroom. The atmosphere at the accommodation is really chill and laid back. With only 5 rooms it is peaceful and sociable. Fresh breakfast was provided daily with a choice of tea, coffee or juice. The food was set each day and it was a pleasant surprise each morning. Some days it was cereal, yoghurt and pastries and other days more local food such as curry & roti - we loved it all. The location was perfect for us - close enough to town on bike, ‘grab’ taxi, scooter and also nice and quiet away from the main tourist *****. If staying here we recommend a Syrian restaurant called ‘Yasmin Restaurant’, FatCupid (which serves local food), Langkawi Kitchen (if your budget allows). Would totally recommend this place and would stay here again for sure!
