The customer service at the Nomad is exceptional! From the front desk to the room attendants, it was like Walt Disney World for adults. We were strolling through the lobby and were fortunate to run into, Mr. Brewster. This gentleman aside from being wonderfully approachable, he was a delight to chat with. He asked how we were enjoying our stay and we shared a minute concern aside from everything else being amazing. He exceeded our expectations by providing us with an ear and a solution! Needless to say we felt seen, heard and truly appreciated! We're 2 friends from the St. Louis area having the best girls trio ever. Mr. Brewster and the Nomad has given us fond memories and we shall return!

The resort in itself was exquisite, but our experience with check-in was unfortunately not very good. We checked in late at night, and the first room we got was already occupied. It's unclear how that could have happened, but the front desk explained the previous occupants had checked out but must have somehow stayed in the room (not sure how that would have happened, as the room must have been cleaned in between). We got resort credit for compensation which was nice, but unfortunately the second room we got was also a bit of a disappointment; it was not the room type we had booked (premier king) but rather the non-renovated resort king. Finally the third time we got the correct room, and it didn't disappoint. Can recommend the premier king room, but however due to the issues we experienced this time, we will likely be staying at another resort next time. Photos are from the premier king room - we did not take any pictures of the resort king.

From the moment I stepped out of my car the experience was 100% top notch. Employees are pleasant, helpful, smile, and simply made the difference in my stay. I didn’t want to leave it was that good. The staff was awesome, food was great, room was beautiful and the employees love working there. I asked a few and they all said they love working there. Wow!! Love to hear this! I love this place and have shared this experience with family. Now my family wants to experience this hotel when they return to Vegas! Job well done to the entire team. This hotel is just a block off the *****. We were here for part business and part leisure. You can see the MGM from the Hampton Inn. The Knights hockey arena is across the street. The parking is covered and secured. The front desk staff were all smiling and checkin was quick and smooth, even though the hotel was bustling with business. The rooms were all squeaky clean, beds comfortable and hallways quiet at night. Free breakfast was lovely. Big shout out to MARJORIE, who was in charge of the breakfast area. She even came over to me at the table I was at by the business section to ask me if I wanted anymore food before breakfast closed. How attentive was that?! I’ll be enjoying the pool today as it will be about 85 degreees. If you want to save a few bucks by being off the ***** but close enough to walk to it, I Would definitely recommend this Hotel.

Please read this before staying here.... Where to begin? Since my A/C is out on my truck, and I needed a large parking spot, I resorted to a stay here, as the afternoon temp was 107, and the low was only going down to 82. I actually stayed here about 10 yrs ago, on another work related matter, but don’t remember it being quite this bad. Check in was easy; the folks up front were friendly, and efficient; but after that, it was all downhill. My room was located on the truck stop side(west side) where all, or most of the not so good nightly activities occur. A knock on the door from a young couple at around 9pm, asking if they could pay $10 for a shower, should’ve had me high tailing outta there. The neighbors next door partied till the wee hours of the morning: This being a Sunday night, I thought I’d be able to sleep a little: No such luck this stay. Killed a couple of unidentifiable insects(see pics), along my stay as well. Other notable items, worn out and barely operable toilet(had to use the one in the ******), loose ceiling material, worn out everything, carpet, walls, etc... 2 broken ice machines, and an A/C that worked, but cut on n off the entires stay. Amenities: Not much here to mention, except the pool, in which the water was really greasy, as in, a filter or other problem, not functioning correctly. Not that I’m a pool buff, but just thought as an amenity, and with the heat, it’d would’ve have been a much needed relax. Last but not least, other than vagrants hopping the fence to use the pool, the foul odor of **** throughout the complex, and the many *********** crawling all over this property; I’m not sure what the so called security guards are here for. There’s also a pic of a lovely young couple asleep on the stairway. There was another couple sitting in the outside common area asleep as well. Is this normal, while the security guards look the other way? What a different world we now live in, where trash and filth are acceptable, and expected. Doesn’t anyone have a standard of living, or a decency in their upbringings? Never mind... All n all, this is without question, the very worst hotel or motel experience I’ve ever encountered. I’m at full understanding that this isn’t the Bellagio, or The Four Seasons; but anyone would notice severe the lack of management here. Having to stay close to where I was parked was my handicap; one that is on me. But in the future, I’ll not make that mistake. The Orleans, just down the road, has big rig parking, full security, and is modern and welcoming. Of course, they were sold out the night I needed a room. If you’re planning to visit this area, and are in need of parking for your big rig or motor home, keep on looking. I do hope they clean this dump up, for decency, but either way, I’m out....

The hotel is nice, clean and modern however the soundproofing is horrible. Could not sleep at all during my stay due to people partying next door. Even during the day I could hear the entire conversation in next door’s room. The lighting is also horrible in the rooms, making you feel like in a parking lot. The rest of the place is fine, pool could use a little cleaning.
