The property and location has a lot of potential, but the experience overall was a bit of a disappointment and certainly over-priced. The pool is well-designed and the setting is very unique, peaceful and remote. The rooms were relatively clean and the facilities were fine. It is a clever way to experience a rubber estate, and go slightly off-grid for a little while and enjoy the quiet and the sounds of the jungle. We did one night here on the way from KL to Malacca. However we were a bit disappointed with our overall experience, and felt it was not worth the price-tag. The site is lacking some T&C, it feels under-managed and hasn't been looked after well - it needs a bit of an upgrade. There were two housekeepers who were not very proactive and it felt a bit stale and some of the furniture is quite tired as a result. There are SO MANY FLIES and other bugs that it became unmanageable, and the housekeepers didn't have any fly swatters or candles, so you should bring your own. (they should invest in those electric fly fans). Even inside the air-conditioned living space the flies were everywhere and the staff kept leaving doors open so more came in, and perhaps cleaning could have been to a higher standard. The meals were a bit uninspired and so we ordered Grab instead. The French Doors in the bedrooms have big gaps in them so bugs were crawling in, and aircon flowing out - very odd. We asked for an extra bed in our room (for my father, and my two sons) and they gave us a mattress on the floor. If you are driving, be mindful it is a dirt track you need to navigate which may be difficult for some cars. There could be some games (board games) in the family room.
