Pros Not too bad a location, can get a little uncomfortable at night for solo travellers while heading back as there are few people loitering around. Smart rooms, control panel control the lights and the signs for the door. Compact room but it's cosy for one. Cons (scary encounter) Someone rang my doorbell and tried to force open the room door in the middle of the night. Luckily i locked it from the inside and door couldn't be opened. It happened twice within the same night. There was no room phone so i had to call the hotel from my own mobile, and feeling puzzled, 2 staff came up to my room to clarify. They then told me a drunk 'guest' was 'assisted' to come up the hotel rooms, but she had actually went to the wrong hotel. Weird explanation, because firstly, a room key is needed to access the lift. Secondly, if the person who assisted the drunk guest is a hotel staff who owns a master key since he's able to access the lift, he should've verify her identity prior to allowing the guest up the rooms premises. Its a safety concern. What if I did not lock the room door from the inside? The drunk guest could have just barged in and i as a female, was staying alone. Lastly, there was no kettle, only 2 bottles of water.

Perfect place to stay one night but not more. The room is well designed with useful features but as I mentioned it's very claustrophobic and for a long time can be depressing.

We stayed for one night to avoid having to travel all the way back to Sussex following a concert. Both Liverpool Street overground and Aldgate East underground were less than a 10 minute walk. The check in process was simple and the lady on reception was polite and friendly. We were able to sit and have a complimentary coffee while we waited for our room as we’d arrived a bit early. The room itself was small, but felt more cosy than poky and was spotlessly clean. I liked the 24 hour tea/coffee making facilities in reception as you can get a proper latte, rather than the usual instant with UHT milk in the rooms. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve booked a hub in West Brompton for next year for another concert we’re attending. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

We stayed one night and had a really good experience. The bed was very comfortable, the whole place was spotless and the staff were very friendly and efficient. Outside might be a bit off putting as it gets very busy but it’s a well travelled tourist stop off as well as being popular with the locals so it gets a bit messy but it’s cleaned overnight so it’s not for want of trying. The free tea and coffee are great and the seating areas are too. I’ve nothing negative to say about this place.

Overall a top quality experience that i would highly recommend to others, the room was small but comfortable. would have like to see better TV channel options but other than that would 100% come again!

Stayed here one night end of May/start of a June for a hen party. We had booked this hotel as it is in a good location and cheap. We knew the hotel rooms would be small and didn’t mind as would only be there for a short time. Unfortunately we were woken up at 3am by water dripping from the air con onto the ground. After turning it off and holding towels against the air con, I was able to stop it before the hotel reception staff arrived to have a look. They did offer for us to change rooms, however we didn’t want to at this time when we would be checking out in a few hours anyway. They left us a bucket incase it started again!! A few other guests also noted the air con making funny sounds too.

I would highly recommend this hotel for location, cleanliness, comfort, great facilities, friendly staff, safety, early check in availability and value for money. I have stayed a few times now when I am in London and will stay again.

We were in London for a few days and need somewhere to stay which was competitively priced and well located. The Hub in Brick Lane suited us and our group of friends perfectly. Staff were friendly and accommodating; we felt valued as customers. Room was compact but comfortable with everything we needed. The breakfast continental style buffet had enough choice for us. We would certianly consider returning next time we are in London.

Perfect location for enjoying the restaurants, markets and culture of Brick Lane and Spitalfields! Perfect hotel - fresh, clean and friendly! Will definitely go back.
