Ulasan Opulence Boutique Hotel

Luxury and boutique not quite how I would describe this London hotel. Such a shame as it is situated perfectly a street back from Oxford Street and so central for site seeing. If you want cheap and a comfy bed and hot shower this hotel will be fine for you but if you want luxury then sadly not.! We were in room 19 and it was basement level and at the rear of hotel so it was quiet ish. It had a little courtyard area and meter cupboard outside our window and someone kept going outside during the night to have a smoke so noisily clipclopped down the tiled stairs and kept opening and banging shut the squeeky door. Our friends were in a bigger room at the front of the hotel and their window didn't close so had the road noise and it was constant, they only had ill fitting blinds so they let light in and didn't block out any outside noise. The whole hotel just needs some TLC . It's a lovely building and location is perfect. I had emailed the hotel in advance and got no reply and I had phoned every day for a week leading up to the stay and got no reply so communication with hotel is not good either. Man on reception was lovely and did his job but sadly couldn't change the poor condition of the hotel. When we checked out on Sunday morning there was no one around so had to just leave key cards at reception I really would have liked to have left them some feedback. So in summary for a clean comfortable bed and hot water for a shower this hotel is great, location fabulous for everything else sadly not. If you're a hotel snob this one is NOT for you!!
