I had another wonderful stay at Grosvenor House Suites. This continues to be my go-to place in London. For people that may be new, here's why I like it so much: Location: It's a 2 minute walk from the Dorchester, Scott's, and The Connaught. On Park Lane. Doesn't get any better than this. Privacy and Security: A secure entrance and then a lobby reserved only for hotel guests. Such a unique experience for London. The People: This is where the hotel is at its best. Every single department is fantastic, filled with highly personable people always interested in being of service. The concierge team here rivals any in the city. They know your name instantly, remember you from past visits and go out of their way all the time to assist in any way possible. It's more valet & butler level service from Downton Abbey times than just a regular hotel concierge. This department is one of the main reasons I return to this hotel. Dariush is an absolute legend and rock star! Seeing him is one of the highlights of my trip to London. Timmy was new to me on this visit but he became a fast friend and took excellent care of us. And while these 2 gentlemen anchor the morning and night shifts, the entire Concierge team that support them were as helpful and professional as you'll find anywhere. Stefano was very helpful on our first day there, with many luggage needs, shoe needs and anything else, he took care of us with immediacy and professionalism. This is such a strong department within this hotel and it's been that way ever since I started staying there. The restaurant is where we ate for breakfast and for after dinner drinks. While I can't remember the names of all the restaurant staff, I want to recognize the 2 great guys that were working the morning of Feb 16th and also the different waiter and the overnight restaurant manager that was working the late evening of Feb 15th. Really amazing service from them all. Tatiana Montez was so helpful and accomodating, both via email and when I was there in person. She's such a wonderful lady and a real asset for the company. Dora Hadar in Guest Relations helped make the stay special for both Valentine's Day and a Birthday. Housekeeping at this hotel is a 10 out of 10, that's VERY hard to do. Additionally, the rooms are made with the finest materials, rock solid quality in all the appliances, the hallways and public areas are impeccable. The value per dollar at this hotel is off the chart. Also, if you like watching TV, this place has more stations than any hotel I've ever stayed in, including news channels from 10+ countries. Also, the wifi here is the easiest in the world. Just connect. That's it. No silly splash screens, weird name and room number login, or device count limits, or upcharges or tiers. Just connect like you are at home--that's how it should be. There's very little where this hotel could improve. If I had to suggest a few things, my first suggestion is the lighten up
