My family loves this apartment having beautiful room setting and scene in traditional old English building. 3 mins walking distance to a big supermarket and close to tube station as well. All staff friendly and helpful. A gym is also very nice at basement that makes me sweaty.

A lovely boutique hotel within seconds from the tube. Location wise is perfect for us since we wanted some quaint Notting hill stores and portobello markets walks. Many cafes restaurants and pubs around. Staff was super friendly and the rooms are perfectly sized for London… not too small. Would come back again.

Convenient location right on Kensington High Street. Surrounded by good shops and restaurants. Bus stop outside and tube station a good five minute walk . The rooms are large with plenty of space for Families , the seating are does make a difference , as do the picture windows . We overlooked the High Street , which we loved but some have views of Hyde Park-Kensington Palace is next door ! Staff were all very attentive and professional. It was a late Birthday treat and I received cake and wine to the room , which made the stay even more memorable. Breakfast was of a very high standard , with enough choice for all guests . Enjoyed the Piano bar and the entertainment on offer . Would definitely come back to the Royal Garden, it's just so well placed .

The hotel was lovely! I was not able to sleep on an overnight flight and Simona helped check me in and was able to get me an earlier room available. She was absolutely wonderful and helped me through the whole process. She was the best! I didn’t have to think and she took care of everything including bags quickly. The whole staff was great! I had a fantastic Niçoise salad one day from the restaurant and it was quite excellent. Quiet and safe location with lots of areas to walk in the nice neighborhoods and Hyde park. My massage at the spa was superb! Asmaa helped coordinate everything at the spa and was very helpful. I loved the Bellaluna Venezia lotion and shower gel scents. Overall, a fantastic experience! I would stay again!

This is the most luxury place we have with the best price near Hyde park. Best cost performance among all London hotel. Hotel has excellent service, every guests here received extra care, every needs has been achieved with their efforts. They care all the people around like driver, delivery etc as well. To be honest, really very best hotel, and some room you have Hyde park view as well! And you can cook as well. Don't go rosewood, no place to park, 0 care for driver, and they even hint you pay extra tips! Dont go rosewood!

The best thing was hands down the location and starbucks being inside the hotel. It’s a very busy hotel though with many airline staff staying there. Queues can be long at reception and whilst some receptionists were very service oriented some weren’t very guest friendly. I had booked a premium double but was given a premium twin TWICE. Dragging my suitcases around after an exhausting travel there. I then had to downgrade to a standard double because I cannot sleep in a single bed. The bathrooms were both the same tiny size though the premium room definitely was more spacious. The standard room makes you feel claustrophobic.

I cannot recommend this pub/hotel highly enough. Location was perfect for Olympia (my reason for travel was attending a 2 day even there), the team were all helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome, including offering to hold my luggage and help me up to my room (as no lift). The room (a 2nd floor twin facing Olympia) was also a very good size, excellently equipped (lovely drinks, comfy chair, spacious desk) and amazingly soundproof from both the road and train right outside, and the pub downstairs. The breakfast was possibly the best English breakfast I've ever had, and the coffee just superb. On top of that the stay was excellent value for the area, and I felt safe and looked after as a lone female traveller. Would look for a reason to come and enjoy this place again, and ideally have time to try to food too next time if the breakfast is anything to go by!

The majority of the room's amenities were outdated, yet still within an acceptable standard for me. However, the air conditioning system was disappointingly inadequate; it failed to produce heat and emitted only cold air. Despite the staff promptly providing an electric heater when alerted to this issue, the room remained uncomfortably cold. The most disconcerting part of my stay was the condition of the bedding. The filler in the duvet had clumped together, as evidenced by the attached photo, likely due to improper washing. This left me with little more than two thin sheets in zero-degree weather, with a non-functional heating system. To find some warmth, I resorted to wearing additional clothes and draping my down jacket over the duvet—a far cry from a comfortable night's sleep. I must commend the hotel staff, who were excellent throughout this ordeal. Their service was the only warm aspect of my stay.

The location and the room itself was great. The hotel is near 2 tube stations and there’re plenty of buses nearby that go to the city center. The setting of the room was more like an Airbnb which was nice, but that being said, there weren’t anyone coming to clean the room or take out the trash when it was full. Another point to note is that the shower was barley warm enough for me and my friend to wash our hair and take our bath. So it was impossible for us to take a hot shower to unwind after a long(and cold) day. There wasn’t any way I could contact the staff of the hotel, so we had to bare with it the whole stay. Overall, it wasn’t bad except the shower part.

Excellent location right on Kensington high st. Near the metro station and lots of bus stops around. There's a waitrose right beside it which was just great and convenient. Walking distance from Notting Hill and Hyde Park. Staff were very friendly. We had a 2-br unit which was huge and clean. Complete kitchen equipment for cooking. The only downside was the timing, full renovation was going on at the entrance. They had to fully close it halfway our stay and we had to enter/exit through the basement parking which made it a bit of a hassle. Also, after check out, needed to use the toilet which apparently they didn't have. The staff merely told me ”No toilet”, shrugged and offered no alternatives whatsoever. This was before an hour & a half car ride to the airport so imagine my torture. If this was the case, having no public toilet, you should be prepared to have alternatives (e.g. where the nearest public toilet is at). The staff didn't offer help, they just told me ”try the restaurants around”.

Booked this stay for a birthday trip to London for my husband as it looked relatively modern and comfortable for 2 nights in a nice location in Kensington. Not a great room unfortunately, curtains just at side of window for show and blind only comes half way down a very large window leaving the whole bottom half open and light shining in our faces all night. We couldn’t get any heat to come on in the night and I’m also 26 weeks pregnant and when it’s 3 degrees outside we would like some heat, especially with single glazed windows. Cramped room, paint all over sides of pictures hung on the wall and also the ‘for show’ curtains, so very slap dash. Yes there are the amenities of mini fridge, safe, hair dryer, iron and tea coffee facilities but that doesn’t out way other standard comforts like heat and blinds/curtains. Bedside lamp didn’t work on one side either and only half a roll of loo paper left. No parking outside - we parked at Westfield shopping centre 15 minutes walk away for the duration of our stay for £15 a day as this was closest for car park for parking overnight . Outside of hotel it is all Permit only and Holland Road just behind hotel has some free spaces for Saturday and Sunday, however as we arrived Friday afternoon, we didn’t want the hassle of wasting time moving the car around again on Saturday morning and walking to Westfield again to possibly not even get a free space on Holland Road when we had limited time on our weekend trip to London. Such a shame as the hotel looks like it is trying to be modern and up to date. but it’s missing some important key features that are much needed for it be comfortable.

Recently booked a room with this property. Worst decision ever. This was meant to be just a place to sleep overnight but it changed drastically after the first glance. Before arriving, we were going to be coming past 6pm, so they requested a payment to be made in advance and proof emailed over so they can get a key ready. Once arrived, this was how to say, in a very unsure neighbourhood. The key was left on the notice board upon entrance. We were assigned room 66. This room is on the top floor which is 5th floor with stairs as steep as the hills. If you have a lot of luggage with you, please reconsider as you will not be able to carry it up without hurting yourself. Once we made it up to the room, the door was so stuck it needed a bit of force just to open up. The room was NOTHING like advertised on booking.com who still have not come back to us about this shocking room. The room had 2 towels, with no hand towel in the bathroom. The shower was full of limescale and the bathroom door would not open fully. If you are taller than 5”5 you will not be able to sit down on the toilet without bashing your knees. The room was dirty, no cleaning has been done at all. No minimum health and safety standards have been met despite being in a global pandemic. Quite honestly speaking, it was so awful we booked another room to stay that same night as it was not secure and unhygienic. Would not be visiting any time soon. Checked the reviews for this place from previous occupants and the damp on all of the walls is still there despite years going by. I understand small marks and damages, but this is just unhygienic and quite honestly disgusting. AVOID!!!
