During my stay, which I cut short after the first night of a seven-night booking to relocate to a significantly superior hotel. Location: Contrary to its claim, this hotel is not situated in Marylebone but rather just off Edgeware Road. There's a notable disparity between these areas: Marylebone boasts boutique shops, cafes, and restaurants, while the vicinity of this hotel is characterised by inexpensive, independent fast-food outlets and shisha bars. Rooms: The rooms are exceedingly compact, barely larger than the bed itself, and lack any storage amenities such as cupboards or drawers. This deficiency becomes pronounced for guests staying beyond a single night, as there's minimal space to store clothes. The purported ”King size” bed is actually two single beds pushed together (it's uncomfortable in the middle). Additionally, the room's furnishings, including miniature bedside tables and a diminutive fold-out desk, are inadequate for practical use. Another guest aptly described the rooms as ”shoe boxes.” Bathroom: Despite its spaciousness, the bathroom lacks any storage solutions, forcing guests to leave toiletries scattered on the floor. The positioning of the hand towel rail near the toilet, coupled with the absence of towel hooks, compromises hygiene and convenience. Breakfast: The breakfast selection is rudimentary, featuring unappetising cooked options and limited variety. The congested breakfast area fails to accommodate the hotel's capacity, resulting in overcrowding. Check-in/out: Despite the absence of a bar, restaurant, mini-bar or other onsite amenities,I was required to pay a deposit upon check-in ”in the event that I damaged something”. The manager himself acknowledged the hotel's shortcomings, describing it as, ”4 star at best.” Additionally, there were other guests with similar complaints about room size looking to cancel their booking while I was checking out (after one night). Staff: The staff members are courteous and willing to assist, yet their efforts cannot compensate for the hotel's operational deficiencies. Post-departure, my requests have gone unaddressed. In summary, it's advisable to steer clear of this hotel.

Good Staff, It was my first trip to London , but thanks to Mariko and Adrian's support, it was a very meaningful trip. The city ”Shoreditch” that Mariko introduced me to was Very exciting, and I enjoyed the live jazz ” ronnie scott's” that Adrian recommend. I think they are very relaiable. Of cource, it is indeed a Prince-Hotel. The quality of the guest room is impeccable. Located in a quiet residential area, the hotel is quiet and relaxing. It is not close to Paddington or St,Pancras, but it is only a 3-minutes walk to the Marble Arch gate of Hyde Park. I can assure you that you will enjoy Hyde Park every morning and evening. The food is also good. However, if I had one request, I would like to have English Breakfast with ”baked beans”. Since I came all the way to London, I wanted to eat them.

Generaly my stay was good except that the WC flush did not work properly and I reported this but it was not repaired. Also I slipped in the bath on the last morning whilst having a shower and fell heavily. There was no bath slip mat and I am still feeling discomfort.

As a seasoned Diamond Elite traveller with IHG, I thought the rooms were dated and could do with an little upgrade. Simple things like USB plugs, which are pretty standard in most IHG hotels etc. Our initial room was on the 5th floor and we were not advised the A/C was not working. A short phone call with Swathy and she sorted us out with an alternative room….Great service. Just a note to add - you can here the tube line if you’re on the lower floors, so bear that in mind if you’re a light sleeper.

Truly an experience. My wife and I brought my mom to London for her 80th birthday, as afternoon tea at The Ritz was still on her bucket list. She had no idea I booked our stay there as well, and the Rolls Royce pickup from the airport. The hotel itself is what you expect, the Luis XVI style common areas and rooms are beautiful, but what really makes the place memorable, are the people. From our first contact with Johan, and our check in with Giacomo, Gavin, Roberto everyone was fantastic throughout our stay. The amount of time that the folks at reception are willing to spend just chatting and sharing stories with you is something you just don't find elsewhere. Many thoughtful interactions with my mom as the whole place seemed to know her big birthday was coming up. It was the experience of a lifetime. Thank you everyone at the Ritz for making it happen.

This hotel have some weird rooms. There is a small platform inside the room. A coffee table plus 1 chair on the platform. Then no space to put my luggages. We travel to Europe for almost 1 month. We have 4 big luggages and 2 small luggages. I can only open one suitcase and no space to open the door or walk to the bathroom. . After an hour negotiation with Reception, the Front Desk Manager finally let us to have a bigger room. Anyway, we are happy to be staying at this hotel during my birthday trip. The reception offers me an access to the lounge because of my birthday stay in this hotel.

Adore this hotel and always lovely to stay here and meet the friendly staff. Conveniently located near to either Maida Vale tube station (Bakerloo line) or St John's Wood (Jubilee) and a short walk to Abbey Road Studios, ”The Beatles” crossing, Lords Cricket Ground and Regent's Park. Not too far from Hyde Park/Marble Arch/Oxford Street either. Rooms refurbished since I was last here pre-pandemic and it makes such a different to them. Super clean, also comfortable beds and modern showers / bathroom. Bar and Italian restaurant next door integral to the hotel (Carluccios). Can get a glass of wine to take to your room after it's closed if you ask at reception (thank you). Not a great deal immediately around the hotel but if I'm away for work this isn't an issue as Carluccios is good enough. Even if on vacation, it's a short 15 minute taxi ride to Oxford Street. Wonderful breakfast choice in the morning also in Carluccios but run by the hotel staff. Everything you could imagine you would want for breakfast and a big enough space not to have to queue for a table. Seems a safe affluent area (certainly between the hotel and Regent's Park). And a nice old tin church on the walk from Maida Vale to the hotel! USB charging points in the (at least refurbished) rooms. Oh and in the summer on hot days they give you free ice creams!

It was very dark and dingy with no view and a constant generator noise. We were told there were no other rooms available. It was also very cold in the basement and we called reception who came over and told us to give it time to heat up. After about an hour it was still cold so they gave us a fan heater. I think it’s reasonable to expect them to heat up the room prior to guests arriving if they know it’s colder in the basement. I’d just come out of hospital the day before and this was supposed to be a treat. The room was tiny too and the TV is situated on a wall where it can only be seen on one side of the bed. The building is nice to look at and the bathroom was a decent size but overall disappointed.

Le logement est petit mais très bien agencé donc parfait pour deux et le temps que vous voulez (court ou long séjour). A proximité immédiate également de nombreux commerces et restaurants. Quartier calme et chic. J'ai logé dans l'appartement 3 au RDC (26m2) - vraiment ravie ! Je reviendrai sans hésitation si je revoyage sur Londres. Merci pour tout !

I have to admit that I was unsure whether to stay here after reading a number of bad reviews of this hotel. However, I needed to stay near Baker St for various reasons and was looking for a hotel with good transport links to Stansted Airport and free WiFi. This hotel was the cheapest in the area and the bus stop for Stansted Airport was right in front of the hotel, so after researching many hotels, I decided to stay here. There is no lift and the building is old. However, if you can think it is a place to just take a shower and sleep, it is fine. First of all, the location is excellent. I felt the rooms were big for a central London . The bathroom was not clean, but I thought it had met my minimum. If you are looking for luxury, this hotel is not for you. It is perfect as a base for sleeping only. For this location and price, I would use it on my next trip to London.
