The breakfast was very nice. The room was clean and the shower was perfect The desk staff was nice and welcoming Bed was comfortable and they had a small clip on the drapes to make sure then morning sun would not come through to wake us up They also gave us a few bottles of water Only complaint I have is the parking fee of 15 dollars per night That’s a bit high for this area of San Pedro But with the car thief’s going on in that area we had no choice

Hubby and I decided to stay here for a change. It's located at a busy intersection with many stores across the street. The first thing I noticed was the essential elements of Victorian architecture inside the building. The looks created goosebumps. I started picturing the movie ”1408,” but the building is up to the 4th floor only. Don't panic! Nothing happened here. Don't watch too many scary movies and you'll be all right! The pool was closed temporarily so we couldn't enjoy it. I used the gym and business center. Unfortunately, I couldn't print anything at the business center, so I had to save the files and send them to the employee at the front desk so that they could print them for me. The computers worked fine, though. We got a complimentary daily breakfast. It was ok, with minimal choices. I tried it once and didn't return the next day because we found an excellent place to get our breakfast. The employees are friendly and helpful. The parking situation is a plus, easy access to the lobby and from the entrance, you need a key in the elevator to go up to the 3rd or 4th floor or your room. I used the gym. The hotel needs some newer equipment for sure. The treadmill wasn't working, so I used the elliptical and weight machines. Although it's located in a busy area, I prefer the location near the water we stayed in last time. That was Crowne Plaza hotel. Anyway, the room condition was ok. The bed wasn't very comfortable, though. Our room faced the pool that wasn't working at the time. It was not a busy season. We joked around that we were the only guest on the first day. After the first day, I saw...people, not dead people, phew! We're safe! We're not sure whether we will stay here again, but the location is not for me.

The room and service is impeccable Checking in was smooth and was given a bottle of water and hot cookie (absolutely delicious)! Breakfast area is small. Unlike Asian hotels, breakfast is not buffet style and order from menu. Room doesn't have bottled water and no flask for boiling hot water. The room numbers are not in sequence and kinda confusing My room has an audible hound and this pulled my rating from 5 to 4,

Did I get a good night's sleep? Yes. Would I come back? Maybe. The room was clean and comfortable, and I could tell that the owners had tried their best to patch up the normal wear and tear. The TV worked fine. The sound of the heater/air conditioner was easy to ignore. The window had a privacy layer on it. The Wi-Fi connection was stable. However, the water pressure in the tub seemed strong from the faucet and then very weak from the shower. The toilet paper roll holder was broken. And the bathroom fan didn't seem to work. Parking looked a lot more challenging than it really was--there's an exit you can't see from the street. The place seemed to have two or three names. And there was almost no Verizon cell phone signal. Overall, I'd say it met my needs--a reasonably comfortable place to sleep.
