The hotel was pretty good , i liked the design of the hotel , the location was also pretty good , the room was clean and the temperature was cool and satisfying , the amenities was poor to average to be honest there wasn’t any water nor toothpaste , but in total it’s a good hotel and i would recommend it for other people My rating for the hotel : 3.5/5

the service of the hotel is not same as it use to be before . i have been staying here for many year now , but now i dont know if I would prefer to go back again. Breakfast is off the menu , which we could enjoy in the restaurant . only prepacked limited goodies...to take away , even regular coffee not include in that. Also toilleteries are missing items from the toilet , not hot water kettle . I wish they can understand all the places are open now after covid .

The location is good. The hotel was having some water related issues so no restaurant on site, and the bar was open but empty.

Very neat place with a lot going on. Sexy environment on the inside with some cool amenities. Would stay there again for sure.

This hotel is a great option if you like to workout while on vacation. The gym, swimming pool and basketball court are amazing. There is also sauna, steam and cold plunge. The rooftop is gorgeous. The bar is incredible. The only problems during my stay was that the restaurant was closed due to reparations.

The LA Athletic is a well run old club in downtown Los Angeles where I lived for 30 years. The hotel rooms are old and dated but clean and well kept. The area around the Club is safe but not the most attractive area of downtown LA.

When I checked in I was not told that there was no hot water, the restaurant was closed, and all of the spa amenities were also closed. I asked for a refund/reduction in the fee and the staff were rude and unhelpful. It took four staff to try to activate the room's wifi. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Here you trade off distinctive historic character for substandard facilities. You want to love this place, but the plumbing isn't quite right, the bed isn't quite right, security is lax, and the restaurant shuts down in the middle of breakfast because it runs out of hot water. You come away thinking, "this could be a gem," which is what I thought a decade ago as well. Unfortunately "could be" is what you find here.

Great amenities (bball court, pool, spa), coworking space, affordable, conveniently in the heart of DTLA! And amazing service, from check-in to even when I left, thought I lost my laptop but a club member found it and turned it in. Good people here and definitely one of our favorite LA hotels ＜3

The staff and property were great. Very convenient access to downtown and metro (but tourists need to be vigilant on metro not overly safe... not the hotel's fault but be aware of this!) The bathroom is really dated and dark...but the fitness facilities are top notch. I actually chose to use those over our shower a few times. Restaurant is very good.
