The perfect place to stay in Lugano. Family-run, the staff are just so welcoming and, for Switzerland at any rate, it’s good value. I stayed for three nights and had dinner each evening. The four-course ‘menu’ is exceptionally well priced at SFr 44 (£37) if you book half-board. The food was delicious and served in copious quantities. Drinks prices are also inexpensive by Swiss standards. The hotel’s location, a 5-minute step-free walk from Lugano station, is also excellent. The hotel building is quite old but the facilities in the public areas and rooms are thoroughly up to date. I’d not hesitate to return. My thanks to all the staff for their care and welcome.

I notice this hotel hasn't been reviewed for 2 years, which is a pity, as it's an excellent option in Lugano. We stayed there for only one night (unfortunately) as part of our Grand Train Tour of Switzerland and found it to be perfectly located, near the centre of the city and next door to the furnicular station. Do not walk down from the railway station to the hotel, catch the furnicular at the station and on arriving at the end, the hotel entrance is 50 metres away. The room we had was a great size, overlooking the furnicular as it turned out and had plenty of space for suitcases, without tripping over them. A safe, free wi-fi, air con and a fridge were provided, as well as tea and coffee making facilities at a small charge. The one major flaw was the small shower, notwithstanding the excellent temperature and water pressure. It was difficult to turn around for almost any size adult and DON'T drop the soap! Breakfast was cold options only, which is fine by us, but it was satisfactory only, without being anything special, which was a pity. There was a nice lounge area with comfortable chairs and an internal garden setting outside, although I'm not sure if that was part of the hotel. Silvia at reception was so helpful and considerate. As guests, we each received a complimentary block of Swiss chocolate.

Lugano’s Hotel Ceresio is within a 5-minute walk of Lake Lugano, the university, the Quartiere Maghetti Shopping Center and Lugano’s congress centre. The Central Bus Station is a 10-minute walk away. All units at the Ceresio have a private bathroom and cable TV. Several units are made up of interconnecting rooms. Continental breakfast is served each morning. Hotel Ceresio’s restaurant serves local specialties and uses seasonal produce. A bar can also be visited on site, and room service is available.

Tolles Hotel, gute Lage, verschiedene Busstationen in der Nähe, Mobility-Standort, Universität, Migros, Palazzo Congressi. Freundliches Personal, Kaffee von der grossen Espressomaschine auf Wunsch... Arcobaleno Ticket für 5 Tage inbegriffen. Mir gefällt der 70er-Jahre Charme, den das Hotel hat, z.B. die Buchstaben im Frühstücksraum. Wir waren Mitte August zu zweit, für 5 Nächte dort, schon zum 2. Mal.

The Hotel City Lugano is a gem tucked in the city center. It's easy to find, parking is easy to access (and secure!) and every staff member went out of their way to be helpful. The room was nicely appointed and the only small issue was we stayed during a few unseasonably warm days and really needed to be able to cool the room or have a fan. (Thermostat was locked and too warm). Breakfast was a pure pleasure each day with lovely helpful, friendly attendants and the food is fresh and very good! We walked everywhere we wanted to visit but the hotel included public transportation passes which we ended up not needing. The area is safe to walk, even in early evening. We will stay here again if visiting Lugano again.

Sekiranya anda menempah hotel mewah di Lugano, tidak ada pilihan lain untuk saya. Walaupun tidak betul-betul di tengah-tengah Bandar, ia berada di kawasan yang bagus dan tenang dan 10-15 minit berjalan kaki ke bandar sangat bagus untuk menenangkan perut setelah makan banyak pizza. Kawasannya sangat menakjubkan, pemandangannya luar biasa, sarapan bufetnya tidak mengagumkan tetapi sangat bagus (Walaupun wanita yang boleh duduk di sini anda boleh tersenyum sedikit lebih banyak, semua kakitangan lain ketika sarapan sangat bagus). Lido peribadi hebat.
Saya tidak akan pernah menginap di hotel lain di Lugano untuk perjalanan musim panas tahunan kami, ini telah memenangi kesetiaan saya seumur hidup.

Vorzüglich im Ganzen! Absolut wundervolle Lage (nur mit Taxi erreichbar) ob bei Tag oder bei Nacht! Ein wundervolles DeLuxe Zimmer mit Blick auf den See! Die Grösse, die Materialien von höchster Qualität und feinstem Design. Essen im Bistro ausgezeichnet, da voll ausgebucht im Restaurant! Leider nur eine Nacht a.Gr. von viel Arbeit auch in Lugano (Besuch einer super Vorstellung im Arte und Kultur Center). Fitness/Sauna waren leider noch geschlossen, aber Privat Spa war buchbar vor Abreise am Sonntagmorgen...gute Alternative. Die Gärten rundum himmlisch! Das Team war super professionell, ausserordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Freue mich und träume jetzt schon von meinem nächsten Besuch in der Villa Leopolde...herzlich empfehlenswert für Geniesser des Feinem und Gutem... Denise Welten in Zürich

Die Unterkunft ist in allen Bereichen top. Das einzige was uns am Anfang ein wenig irritiert hat, ist die unbediente Reception. Das Online einchecken, hat aber super geklappt. Wir konnten schon um 1400 statt erst um 1500 Uhr ins Zimmer. Da wir getrennte Betten wollten, und es diese nur in der höheren Kategorie gab, wurden wir einfach ”upgegradet”, einfach top. Auch das Zusatzbett für unsere 5 jährige Tochter war mega bequem. Es war alles äusserst sauber und die tägliche Reinigung war super. Wir sind und waren einfach begeistert. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder. Vielen Dank für den schönen Empfang.

PPengguna TetamuMy biggest mistake was I only spent two nights at this hotel. And YOUR biggest mistake would be NOT to get a room facing one of the most beautiful lakes in Europe. And we're talking a REAL view. If it wasn't for the swimming pool right underneath, you could throw yourself directly into the ocean. The hotel is a mile from downtown which is perfect. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfast is fantastic because of that view. I made the mistake of moving to a cheaper hotel in Lugano for the second part of my trip. I will never do that again. I'm going to stay at the Lido Seegarten next time I'm in Ticino.

PPengguna TetamuLugano, the perfect mix of modern Switzerland and old-school Italian flair, is quirky, beautiful and delicious. So is Hotel Atlantico. Aged like a fine wine, current in its’ ability to anticipate modern travelers needs, THIS is the place to stay if you want to live like a local. All the local attractions are easy to walk to and the multilingual Elizabeth excels in role as Manager, concierge and while you’re there it feels like you’re old friends. The place is unique, quaint and well maintained. The breakfast ROCKs and so do the staff and atmosphere. Danke, Grazie, Merci, Thank You.

Ho soggiornato due notti ed ho scelto un appartamento comodissimo. Arredato in modo sobrio ed elegante. Tutto pulitissimo. Come da foto. Comodo il checkin automatico che permette di fare tutto in autonomia. Gli appartamenti sono facilmente collegati tramite una scala interna anche per il bistrot per chi vuole utilizzare la loro cucina per pranzi, cene e colazioni, senza dover uscire. La colazione che ho provato è ottima ed il personale gentilissimo e disponbile. Parcheggio gratuito per i clienti. Ho trovato invece poco funzionale l'altezza per l'accesso/uscita della doccia...un po' rischiosa del mio appartamento. In generale consiglio vivamente questo CPRESORT . Ma consiglio: - di dotare l'appartamento di bustine per qualche tisana che alieterebbe il soggiorno. - lasciare al bistrot degli adattatori per prese in caso di necessità come avviene negli alberghi

Staff super friendly and the lady even stayed late to let me in and kept good communication by email. I had a lovely big private room with comfortable bed and a sink. The hostel is in a superb location and in lovely grounds (I wish I had been able to stay long enough to use the pool!). As it is a hostel the facilities were fairly basic and there was some early morning noise from people as my room was next to reception (get a room upstairs if possible), but nothing unreasonable or unexpected. I would definitely stay here again and recommended it to others I met on my travels

Camera spaziosa e accogliente con luci soffuse e dotata di ogni comfort: piccola cucina con tutto il necessario, smart tv, macchinetta del caffè, ferro da stiro, climatizzazione. Tutto pulitissimo e profumato. Letto molto comodo. La struttura è composta da 4 suites e la reception si trova poco più avanti. Il personale di una gentilezza e disponibilitá rara. Al nostro arrivo ci hanno dato consigli su cosa fare e dove mangiare. Ci tornerei!

The best thing about a vacation is to rest well and have a delicious breakfast and this hotel has it all, a first class service, with high quality care, I have to mention what caught my attention the most was the hygiene at breakfast time is very Important for me. I don't have many photos but I do have videos that I can't upload here from the hotel but I have it on my Instagram karol__0729….Very satisfied with our stay, just need to implement the parking

would like to inform you that I was subjected to a disrespectful attitude by the receptionist, which is completely unacceptable and disrespectful, and contains unacceptable racism. On Friday night 1 September at 23:35, I went to buy a bottle of water and they are people in reception. I asked them for permission to pass before them, so they smiled at me welcoming, but the receptionist refused to pass me and asked me in an unkind way to wait . There was another woman waiting, and after the customer finished his check in, the woman looked at me and allowed me to pass before her because it was only a bottle of water, but the receptionist shouted at me and refused to pass my order with bad way!!! . I left the water and he insisted that I wait even though the woman repeated her words and told him that she allowed me to pass because it was a bottle of water... I strongly object to this inappropriate attitude of your employee..

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel have been chosen due to its price and location. The price is about 160€ per night including city tax. The location is very useful. I would also mention very decent breakfast with orange juice, yogurt accompanied by modern coffee-machine. There’s a really big TV in the room with Netflix. Wi-Fi is well working. But unfortunately that all about the advantages. Further is more about the disadvantages.. The hotel definitely needs a serious renovation. I have never seen a ventilator operated by RC. The ventilator can suddenly switch on the light in the middle of the night. Mattress is extremely soft. It’s recommended to change. I’ve found the mold on the ceiling on the bathroom up to my surprise. See fotos. Extremely noisy. A lot of noise comes from the pedestrian street as well as from the maid. I wouldn’t recommend this property for relax staying.

AAJJTI arranged my trip at very short notice, arrived very late, but Luca was there to welcome me to his Hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and when my lift to the Airport didn’t arrive due to a landslide on the main road from Milan to Lugano, Luca offered to take me, without which, I would not have made my Flight home. In short, excellent location, great value for money and a perfect host!
