The Threshing Barn at Penrhos Court

Awful Food. Filthy Environment. Allow Smoking. Rude people. These people have literally no idea what hospitality means. Our experience is based on two visits - both of which were the same. The management of the establishment simply do not care about customers, and would rather make political statements.

This is the perfect place to relax in beautiful surroundings with the added advantage of the cafe/restaurant and Python's Arms Pub on site. The accommodation is to a very high standard and the bed was super comfy. The welcome tray of milk, cheese, crackers, chutney and butter was much appreciated and there was also ample supplies of coffee, tea and sugar. All accommodation seems to have a fridge and dishwasher and the two bedroom house also has a freezer. The layout of the units on two or three floors has been very well done and means that you can appreciate the magnificent views over Kington from the first floor sitting rooms. We really didn't want to leave!

From the moment we pulled up in the drive at Penrhos Ct in Kington Heredfordshire, we knew were in for a treat. Stunning location overlooking the beautiful tolling hills, A brand new luxury conversion of the beautiful Threshing Barn creating 7 self contained stylish and beautifully appointed cottages from 1-3 bedrooms Perfect for a small or large family gatherings where you want your own space but also want to get together Also with a brilliant indoor outdoor gathering space adjoining the cottages We had gorgeous little welcome gift of chutney, crackers , cheese and elderflower presse Across the lawns and pond is the wonderful cow shed cafe set in another beautiful building - amazing friendly hospitality from the cafe manager and scummy food & drinks This is a must stay, with the beautiful Elizabethan main house as part of the idyllic courtyard setting And if you want to walk in the footsteps of musical great like Led Zepplin, Freddie Mercury, Robert Plant and more who all used the hideaway for creating musical genius then take a trip and enjoy every minute like me and my sister and our families did

A wonderful, special place. Fantastic accommodation. Our two families with grown up children and their partners spent two extremely comfortable nights in four of the cottages. The size of the rooms and the overall layout of the cottages is extremely generous. We booked for 14 and had loads of space to socialise and have lots of fun. Thank you for having us.

I stayed here earlier this year and it is a hidden gem! The cottages have been finished to the highest standards and have everything you could possible need. From good quality cookware to a little welcome gift of the essentials you might need including delicious locally sourced butter. There will an even a dishwasher in the kitchen! The flooring in the dining room is one of my highlights. The bed has one of the best mattresses I’ve ever slept on and it goes without saying that the area is peaceful and has an amazing views. We also eat at the on-site restaurant for an evening meal and also for breakfast. The food is great! Really well presented and made with top notch ingredients. Our cottage also had a freestanding bath which is a nice touch for a romantic weekend away. Great staff and a stunning location means I will be visiting again in January 2024 to sample the new on-site pub. 10/10 for decor, comfort, service and food.

We stayed here for two nights whilst attending the Royal Welsh. The accommodation is superb. Clean, spacious, finished to a high quality. We were also delighted to receive a welcome pack on arrival (milk, cheese, chutney etc) We would highly recommend this place and I'm sure we will be rebooking for next year.
