Jawakara Islands Maldives

Jawakara is the most stunning/beautiful place we have ever stayed. The photos do not do it justice. It is the prettiest most exquisite island with the clearest blue sea but it’s the staff that make this island exceptional. Every member of staff works so hard and they always put the guests needs first. They are always happy and smiling, they cannot do enough for you. I can honestly say this is the best customer service we have ever received at any resort in the world. From when we arrived by Seaplane at Jawakara we received a very warm welcome by the staff and our own personal assistant, Ashraf. He made sure that everything during our stay ran smoothly and gave us his what’s app to contact him should we require anything at all. He organised all our restaurant bookings, excursions, he booked us lunch one day at the 5.8 underwater restaurant for my husbands birthday. The lunch was amazing and a once in a lifetime experience. Ashraf went above and beyond for us. He is a lovely person and a real credit to the Jawakara team. Thank you Ashraf for everything you did for us during our stay. We think you are incredible. We got married at Jawakara and couldn’t have chosen a more spectacular venue. We would like to say a big thank you to Lalith and Roma for all their help. They are both such a wonderful people and a great example to all the staff, so friendly, kind and customer oriented. Lalith made sure that everything about our wedding was perfect and stress free. The set up was breathtaking and all the staff worked so hard to make it an unforgettable day. We will always cherish these memories. We visited all of the A la cartes during our stay and did not have one complaint. The food was outstanding and you could easily think you were dining in a 5 star restaurant in London. We particularly loved Umi the Asian restaurant and would like to thank Jaxlan for his exceptional service and also capturing a beautiful photo of us on our wedding day. We would also like to say a massive thank you to Tony and all the staff at Thila bar including Muchlis, Damith, Linn and Apu. You all work so hard every single day. You make the guests so happy with your incredible cocktails. It was such a treat to visit this bar every day and experience such an outstanding service. Thank you providing us with the best drinks! I could write so much more about the resort but I think the photos speak for themselves. I wanted to focus my review about the staff and how incredibly hard they all work to make your stay so special and unforgettable. The staff are world class and we would like to thank you all for everything you did for us during our stay. We can’t wait to visit you all again soon. We love Jawakara!!!

We had the most incredible stay at Jawakara Maldives! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like royalty with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. The resort itself is a paradise, boasting pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and luxurious villas that blend comfort with stunning natural surroundings. The dining experience was a highlight, offering a variety of exquisite cuisines that catered to all tastes. The water activities, like snorkeling and diving, allowed us to explore the vibrant marine life, and the spa treatments were beyond relaxing. Every moment at Jawakara was unforgettable, and I can’t wait to return to this slice of heaven. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a perfect Maldivian escape!

We visited Jawakara in November 2024, anyone concerned about the weather in November shouldn’t be as it was brilliant. From the moment we stepped off our plane from Heathrow we received amazing service and were looked after incredibly well. Our room was fantastically placed on Mabin on the sunset side and was brilliantly located for all the amenities . I would highly recommend the PAI as it turned it to be brilliant value for money. Paying for drinks etc could work out very expensive. Our room was lovely and well maintained by the excellent Shahoon who was very friendly and helpful. The service the whole time we were at the resort for our 11 nights was first class and we were treated to a hello or morning by everyone we met . Special mention for the gardening team as well who perhaps don’t get the recognition sometimes, they always said hello. We had one problem with our air con and we phoned reception and writhing ten minutes 3 engineers were on site to fix it. We ate in all the restaurants and again all were fantastic. Rohit makes the best cocktails in the hideout . Roma gave us excellent service in Molo and Umi. David stocked our minibar daily and was always up for a friendly chat. We were always greeted by Nellum every morning with a lovely smile to start the day. La La led the team superbly well and always checked in with us to ensure everything was ok . What a brilliant leader he is! We went out on several trips as part of the AIP package and again we were looked after fantastically by everyone. The service the whole time was amazing and I feel guilty not getting everyone names to mention them. We also attended a cocktail party and all of the management team were in attendance and they weee generally all interested in what they could do to make there island even better !! So refreshing. My top tip is to download the app and get everything you want to do booked in before you arrive. I would thoroughly recommend Jawakara and we will be back. Amazing resort well done to everyone involved.

We had a great vacation at jawakara having one of the best host of jawakara with us solving our issues to making things happen on time , we are very fortunate to have azuhaan as our host he personally being there when ever we need we got lost in first few days the team over here have directed on the best way, we had tried all the restaurants instead being on sunset side of maabin where we have lagoon azuhaan personally took us for snorkelling spots near maabin water villas and being there to farewell us to our first housereef snorkelling by boat to checking us again which was the best movement, umi and molo team have gave us one of the best foods we ever tried all the waiters and chefs are friendly, we are planning again to come to jawakara wish you all the best and lots of love from our family to yours.

Amazing stay all around, nothing to complain about. Perfect service around the clock and UMI is an absolutely incredible restaurant! 5.8 underwater reataurnt was such an experience and we recommend everyone to go there. Huge shoutout to room boy Ramesh for helping us with everything we asked, always keeping our room in perfect condition and just being a great guy in general! A shout out to Favaz from the boat crew as well, always fun and informative to talk to! Also of course a big thanks to our island host Jiajin who were always there to assist us with our needs! Loved our 11 night stay in a beach pool villa on Mabin island. Arriving by seaplane, we were warmly welcomed by our lovely island host. The wonderful villa was perfectly located on this beautiful island. There are a lot of activities you can do. We only joined the sunset dolphin cruise and the reef snorkeling, otherwise we snorkeled by ourselves and saw babysharks, rays and seaturtles. Wherever we went we were greeted with warm smiles and hellos and it felt sincere. Everyone are so friendly. This applies to everyone, from the bosses, to those who cleaned the beach, the boy who cleaned the room, the one refilling the minibar, the ones driving the bus or buggy, in the spa, at the bars, restaurants or if we were just wandering around. We had a lot of lunches and dinners at Aila, Umi, Molo and Hideout. The food was excellent and the service even better. There are so many people we want to thank for making our stay so wonderful, but in fear of forgetting someone, we just say; Thank you so much, you all know who you are! However, we cannot avoid giving an extra thank you to the Aila team and especially Yahu for the beautiful picture she drew for us. It will get a special place on the wall. We came as strangers but we felt leaving like family.
