The staff at the front desk are always lovely and friendly. Unfortunately our experience on this occasion was not good. Firstly someone kept knocking at our door at 11pm. When we opened the door there was a stench of some kind of drugs. Then the alarm went off. We did try and contact reception but there was no answer. Then at 8am again there was a knock on the door. It was the cleaner 9checking to see if we were still in the room despite xheckmout being 10am. Again at 9.55am the cleaner returned and asked us what time checkout was?! We were literally on our way out so it wasn't like we were leaving after 10am. Bit disappointed by this whole experience given we had travelled down for our nephew's funeral so was already a sad and stressful trip.

Lokasi dan kemudahan hotelnya bagus. Perkhidmatan bas ulang-alik pada waktu pagi terlalu teruk. Nampaknya saya pelajar Asia, jadi saya akan menunggu di lobi ketika saya turun ke tingkat bawah. Selepas 10 minit, seorang pemandu membawa dua orang peniaga ke dalam kereta di hadapan saya dan menemui alasan untuk membiarkan saya menunggu yang berikutnya. Booked this hotel as there was a train strike the day of my flight. Also it's right next to the airport and slightly cheaper than Radissons inside the airport. However, there were no signs from the train station for the hotel. I ended walking around roundabouts I'm not supposed to be on! Turned out I should have walked inside the airport to get out nearer the hotel. Bit of a queue at check in, but ok otherwise. Room was comfy, with a settee. The coffee cups seem to leak- both of them! Would appear to be the material the cups were made of. Big soft towels were a delight. Separate bottles on the wall for shower gel, shampoo, conditioner. Good shower, options of normal and rain shower in a big shower area. Check out was easy, I didn't pay for breakfast. I did a short run in the morning around the hotel car park! Needs must... Overall, I would recommend it, as long as you know how to walk to the hotel from the airport safely! I would recommend the hotel liaise with the airport about signage. If there were signs and I missed it, then they need to be prominent, including detailed directions on the website.

Hotel is conveniently located near Manchester airport, but if you are checking in late, traveling with a couple of suitcases, you may want to read on. We called the hotel from Brussels airport to get a basic sense of where to expect the hotel shuttle for pick up; we were told by the reception staff / operator, that one has to make the reservation online and the last pickup was at 10:00. We asked if she could make the reservation since I was already on the phone with her, but she explained it was an outsourced party and we had to do it. Our flight had a scheduled arrival at 09:30, so decided to make the shuttle booking. It was not easy to find a link on their website. Called them again to ask them where I could make the online reservation and was told one just has to cut across the street and the hotel was right there. Which we did. Luckily we had a small carryon with wheels each and it was not raining at that time, although the roads were wet from a recent rain shower. Hotel was functional. Clean/nice. IF you are arriving late, with the elderly or with a couple of large suitcases, please keep this in mind. Also call to understand the hours of operation for the shuttle service. It’s England, so having an umbrella handy is always useful. (As of mid March 2023).

We stayed here for one night for a layover back to the US. It was in a great location - about 15 min Uber/taxi from airport. Definitely not walking distance. But free breakfast & beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend.

If you stay at a Premier Inn bring a toilet brush! I use Premier Inn quite a lot - convenient, comfortable and value for money. Not this time! There seems to have been a change in corporate policy, for the worse. The card that I got when checking in told me that I could get my room made up by informing Reception before 12:00, which I did. Upon my return to the room nothing had been done! Reception then informed me that their head office policy now was for stays longer than one night, rooms would only be made up after 5 days! Fortunately they found some clean towels, replacement tea bags and a toilet brush. Someone from the bar then helped me make up the room and clean the bathroom. Top marks for staff helpfulness but no marks for corporate cleanliness.
