Aloha Hill Club

Sis and I stayed in a duplex, penthouse apartment here in the complex for a week. I can only comment about this one as there seems to be many types of apartment here. Its location was difficult to find as there’s 2 sites listed on TomTom and we initially selected the wrong one. Lots of short stretches of road with little roundabouts to get there. The site is gated but easily accessed once you’ve got appropriate keys and dongles. Don’t pick the TomTom option near puerto banus centre, it’s further north of there! The site and views are absolutely gorgeous, the apartment is too. It’s is furnished with ikea furniture. Parking is in under ground garages with allocated spaces. Ours was reached by a steep sloping road to the right of the concierge office, a bit scary in the first instance but the parking space is nice and wide. There is a closely located elevator to our destination and timed lighting. Staff have been very polite and pleasant. Our apartment was 2 bedroom, almost overlooking the pool bar area, but there was at least 1 extra sofa bed. Both bedrooms had en-suite bathrooms with both bath and shower. There is loo in a small ground floor toilet room. Both floors had external terraces and plenty of wardrobe space. Living room and terrace had dining table. WiFi only worked reliably on the lower floor. Complimentary bathroom/kitchen packs are small so you’ll need to go shopping soon after arrival. Kitchen had every appliance except tumble dryer. There was a rack on our terrace for drying clothes. Toilets till have that special Spanish aroma ;) There’s several pools onsite. One or two seemed to be closed at this time of year and the poolside restaurant/bar started serving at 12:00 rather than the documented 09:00. Sis and I had a very enjoyable lunch served by an equally affable server. The only major complaint was disabled access. Zero for the pool side bar/restaurant, there’s steps both up and down to get to it. The gym/spa requires at least 20 steps to get to it. The heated pool is at the end of the ‘green’ access road where there’s no car parking, but you’d manage if you had a powered scooter that could handle steep slopes. I don’t feel that reception staff understood the problems suffered by disabled folk.

What a fantastic experience! Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted at the reception and promptly shown to one of the available apartments at Aloha Club. Over the course of three weeks, we enjoyed the serene location, just a short 10-minute drive from the beach. The apartment was fully equipped with two bedrooms and bathrooms, making it perfect for our family of two adults and a baby or two small children. Despite the peaceful atmosphere, the amenities like the gym and spa were top-notch and used daily. With only around 20 people at the club during our stay, it felt exclusive and tranquil. We can't recommend Aloha Club highly enough and look forward to returning. A special thanks to Augustin for his invaluable tips on exploring Marbella!

Love this place I’ve been here on many occasions love the location and the peacefulness of this club. I will definitely be returning in the future with my family. This club is close enough to the ports and main Marbella. It’s far enough away from all the hustle and bustle, making it peaceful with stunning views

We have visited the Aloha Hill Club many times several years ago and found the apartments and facilities to be excellent, however after a recent visit, it is clear that this is not the case anymore and we found the place is now dirty and poorly maintained. One of the main problems is that the reception and apartments do not look anything like the photos available on any of the booking platforms or the AHC website. After spending a week in a nearby hotel, we had decided to extend our holiday by a few days at the Aloha Hill Club. When we checked in, we found the reception most unwelcoming. The laundry delivery and other items were piled up behind the desk and the “convenience corner” now consists of a few shelves with mostly crisps and coffee pods available. Having had to wait until 5pm to check in (the standard check in time we were told) we then had to go out again to buy essentials like bread and milk. The reception area does not look like the photos you can see online of this space. We were very disappointed with the dirty and poorly maintained apartment we were given. It was clear that the apartment had not been cleaned for our arrival and we found a badly stained duvet, stained bed, a half-eaten box of chocolates in a wardrobe and a hair scrunchie still wrapped around the shower, as well as a general lack of cleaning throughout. The exterior shutters were broken in the main bedroom, essentially making this a window-less box room and the shutters were broken in the living room, meaning that only one side of the patio doors opened. There were 2 birds nests on the wall outside and bird poo on the terrace. There was mould in the washing machine and meat bones in the dishwasher filter, along with numerous other items in bad condition or broken. The beds in particular are extremely soft and uncomfortable. Moreover, the apartment itself and the furnishings did not look anything like the pictures of superior apartments on the AHC website. As we were only staying for a few nights and we had to go to the supermarket anyway, we picked up a few cleaning materials, gave the apartment a once over and stayed the night. In the morning, we decided that the poor standard was really not very good for 270euros per night plus a 350euro deposit so we complained at reception. The lady said they were fully booked, but found an alternative apartment that we could move to and showed it to us. At first glance, it looked better than our original apartment being an impressive duplex, albeit with an unusual and mis-matched collection of furniture in poor condition, so we accepted this and went out for the morning, on the arrangement that we could move our things and sort out keys when we returned. When we came back later in the afternoon and looked at the new apartment more closely, it was clear that this one hadn't been cleaned for some time either. We enjoyed hour stay at Aloha Hill Club . Hour 6 years old child loves this place .Hi could visit SPA for two hours at afternoon and loved the covered Swimmingpool outdoor . The bar at the Pool offered tasty food and drinks. The people working at the Restaurant and Reception are very helpful and friendly. We had a beautiful bright Appartement with sea view. We didn’t miss anything . We would love to come again.

Wir haben einen Familienurlaub vom 03.08. - 10.08. im Aloha Hills Club gebucht. Die Anlage befindet sich in einer ruhigen Lage auf einem Berg. Wir hatten das Maisonette-Penthouse Apartment für knapp 390 EUR pro Nacht. Bei der Ankunft wurden uns mitgeteilt, dass das Gym und die Sauna gegen 70 EUR Aufpreis genutzt werden kann. Der erste Satz: “Handtücher sind im Preis mit inbegriffen”,wenn man neue haben möchte, kostet dies ebenfalls einen Aufpreis von 22 EUR. Leider hatten wir an 2 Tagen keine Wasser in der Unterkunft und konnten nicht mal duschen. Am 4. Tag, als wir abends um 20:00 Uhr vom Strand zurück kamen, stand unsere gesamte untere Etage unter Wasser und es war keiner erreichbar im Aloha Hill Club. Erst als wir den Security Dienst ausfindig gemacht haben, hat dieser gemeinsam mit uns versucht, den immer schlimmer werdenden Wasserschaden einzudämmen. Wir haben 4 Stunden damit verbracht das Wasser aus dem Appartement zu wischen. Um ca. 00:00 Uhr kam dann ein Klempner, den der Security gerufen hatte und hat dann das Leck gestopft, wollte jedoch von uns 350 EUR für seinen Einsatz haben. Hier haben wir mitgeteilt, dass wir dies ganz sicher nicht zahlen werden, er soll sich stattdessen an die Clubleitung wenden, was ehrlich gesagt schon sehr strange war. Als dann auch noch im Wellnessbereich riesige Kakerlaken rum gelaufen sind, waren wir wirklich bedient. Wir haben uns bei dem Concierge beschwert und man sagte uns:“ Sie wollen uns die 70 EUR für das Gym als Goodwill erstatten.“ Hierauf teilten wir Ihnen mit, dass dies keinesfalls den ganzen Ärger kompensiert und die Unannehmlichkeiten aufwiegt. Der Aloha Hill Club teilte uns mit, dass sie dies intern besprechen wollen und sich dazu am nächsten Tag bei uns melden. Wir haben keine Rückmeldung am nächsten Tag erhalten und trotz nachfragen kam keine Antwort mehr vom Concierge Service. Aloha Hill Club nie wieder!!!!

Tutto è andato per il meglio, il consierge magnifico,l’appartamento era come descritto, le foto rappresentano come è veramente, molto pulito e silenzioso il villaggio, frequentato da persone all’altezza della collocazione. Vicino a Puerto Banus come distanza. Molto vicino a negozi e ristoranti, frequentati da persone belle anche da vedere. Solo un consiglio: le indicazioni stradali per arrivare non sono all’altezza!

Beau complexe, mais à l’écart de tout, voiture nécessaire même pour des petites courses . Parking ultra serré en sous sol, impossible de nous garer avec un Tiguan. Appartement ok mais rideaux, oreillers, canapé, très sale . Pas de ménage pendant la semaine, donc pour le prix, il faut laver soi même ses serviettes, draps etc .. piscines ok, mais le personnel du bar/restaurant, il faut leur apprendre à dire bonjour / au revoir , surtout un homme, qui court comme un poulet sans tête dans tout les sens car il est vite débordé. Il faut sortir ses poubelles à l’extérieur de la résidence, dans dés containers, sauf qu’on ne nous dis pas à la réception à l’arrivée . Bref, à refaire, non merci .
