The Birchy, Adventure Lodging by Base Hospitality Group

Beautiful views of Lake Superior, lovely clean accommodations. All the amenities provided, coffee, soaps, refrigerator, thick towels with a fresh update. The bed very comfy. The only two draw backs for us were the air conditioner struggled to keep the room comfortable and the 4 lane Hwy between The Birchy and Lake Superior. If you don’t mind the traffic this place was excellent.

Every room here has a view to the lake, so you're guaranteed a nice view of the sunrise! Very easy to find and get to. Clean room, small little spot to store food, decent bathroom, our mattress was not too hard, slightly on the nice soft side, and the room had a tv/fridge/air conditioner. I absolutely plan on coming here again if I'm in the area again.

No frills but all the frills this was an amazing stay. Loved laying in bed watching the sunrise and the boats on Lake Superior

Birchmont Motel is a simple, safe place to stay. There is a small heated pool, which is kept clean. Each room contains a tiny coffee maker, kitchen-style sink, microwave, and fridge. The balcony and patio faces Lake Superior and provides a beautiful view The Birchmont was full when we stayed, but we did not hear noise from other guests. Dogs are welcome too. Most cars in the lot had trailers holding expensive bikes or motorcycles but nobody seemed worried about crime. The bathroom is very basic; my husband noted that the shower is designed for small people. Running the air conditioner is a must because the traffic noise from the highway separating the Birchmont from the lake is pretty loud, so windows need to be closed at night. Depending on the events in Marquette, there can be many cars on the highway which makes accessing the lakeside biking/hiking trail a bit harrowing. The doors do not allow guests to use their access codes until 3:00 sharp. There are no places to eat on sight so plan to bring food or drive into Marquette, which contains a plethora of restaurants.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Birchmont Motel. Only 2 miles from the downtown area, and right across the street from the bike trail. Large, clean room, and excellent view to watch the sunrise over Superior. Would def stay here again.

It was close to where we wanted to be. No amenities which we knew. However it was very over priced. Soap dispensers in the bathroom at sink and in tub were empty. 1 roll of toilet paper. Cobwebs in corners. Due to no amenities it should be priced much less

Our stay was fantastic! We love that this property is in the process of being revamped and updated. The new colors of the outside are appealing and make it look brand new. We will for sure be staying at Birchmont again and can't wait to see what they get done next season!

Best view of Lake Superior in Marquette. Easy access. Very convenient with kitchenette in room, laundry on site. Wish we could have stayed longer
