Lovely would recommend. Cheap and cheerful. Don’t know why people are so negative about this place, I would stay here again. Clean, beds made everyday, clean towels, friendly staff. Located twenty minute walk from the square, and the souks. Off licence around the corner, which sells plenty of beer, wine and spirits. £11.00, for a bottle of wine and six beers. Highly recommended!!!

Beautiful interiors and gardens, heated pools, good breakfast with many choices but some of them were low quality, tasty Spanish restaurant. Unplesant smell in room, noisy air condition in bathroom running all time. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Staff was generally good but average if you consider expensive 5 star resort hotel.

Dirty cutlery, noisy location and poor service…. First problem, I was staying on the four floor, which was an issue as one lift was out of action and the other two lifts are unbelievably slow. The room was dark and even with the lights on difficult to see anything without the use of a torch. Thankfully my room was facing the pool as many colleagues who also had been staying complained of noise through the night from the road, obviously in rooms that had been facing the road. I still had an 8am wake up from the building site next door though. I only had breakfast at the hotel - but found the cutlery dirty and some cutlery had some sticky residue on them. Food was ok but far from the standard I had found in some of the local restaurants. At checkout I had a problem with the laundry bill, I was offered only a 5% discount on the laundry. I ended up paying in full after being threatened by the police for taking a photo of the invoice. Once in my taxi, back to the airport the taxi driver said there is always a problem with the hotel at checkout….clearly not an isolated case. The hotel did have some old charm but very much tainted by poor service, dirty cutlery and a noisy location. Avoid.

This hotel is located in a very good location to the shopping mall carr eden and shops & Restaurants nearby. Easy to travel around and get a taxi. Staff seem helpful at times however, disappointed with the swimming pool policy of (No Burkini) modest wear rule! My 5 year old loves swimming, he was really looking forward to swimming in the pool on his hoilday. Unfortunately, due to the strict rule practiced by the hotel management. I as a parent was not allowed to go into the pool and supervise my child in my modest swimming wear. If I had known this at the time of booking, I would have found another hotel that was more friendly towards modest swimming wear in Marrakech. There was no mention of (No Burkini) at the time of booking or on *********** which I feel is misleading to families with children. Alcohol was served in the reception area to guest staying there. However, I was not allowed to drink my can of coke by the reception staff in the reception seating area, when others had alcohol. Bearing in mind it was 44c very hot, all I was trying to do was stay hydrated in the unbearable heat. Staff from the restaurant next door came into the hotel reception area played very loud music at times with inappropriate wording, which was not correct for young children aged 5 to listen too. Especially loud music at friday prayer times (call for prayer). We are a diverse multi cultural society we should respect all cultures and people from all backgrounds. At this hotel it felt like there was a diversion in cultural values. From day 1 one arriving at the hotel we felt as if we were beeing told off! You can't do this and that. We had a night flight. The restaurant& bar next door closes by 11pm. We got food from outside and was not allowed to eat it in the hotel. We had to eat our meal on the street with a 5 year old child. The hotel staff did not understand or were considerate to allow us to eat inside.

The property is as it is represented. Beautiful colors and architecture and is pristine. The staff is more impressive, which in my book is far more important. The check-in process was a little frustrating because I was cranky. The man who checked me in was unendingly patient, welcoming, friendly, and professional. He made sure I understood everything about the property and security. Quite a feat, as he speaks Arabic and French and and I do not. He gave me a tour of everything. The process for meals is lovely. This is a bed and breakfast, so an elaborate tasty breakfast is available until 1000. To eat breakfast, you let the chef know by 1600. He goes to the central market to purchase what's fresh. My dinner was delicious. The aroma wafted up to my room and brought me down to the dining area a little early. The wait staff is first rate, had perfect English, and was delightful. Know that it's a 2-3 block walk from parking areas to the property. It's an easy stroke, but something to know.

We're part of a tour group and got the worst rooms I suppose. A few of us got rooms with poor or faulty air-conditioning. Made complaints . 1 room checked out as hotel refuses an upgrade even tho the guest wanted v to pay for it. My room after an hour of ,v they brought in a fan which made it even hotter. Finally someone came in to check and confirmed the air con was faulty. So we moved to another room with no offer of help to assist with our luggages. Then the new room mini bar was out of order! By v then we were too tired to bother. When we asked for ice, it came quick which was appreciated. We asked for extra water and housekeeping sent it asap. 2 other rooms also had to change due to aircom. Also the beds were so thin I could feel the spring while sleeping. Was not a comfy sleep. Hotels needs to refurb.

NE RESERVEZ PAS - AVOID AT ALL COSTS- This hotel must be avoided at all costs!!!!! Do not trust positive ratings, they cannot be trusted and have been paid for. Evitez cet hotel a tout prix!!!! Ne croyez pas les avis postifs, achetes a moindre cout par cet hotel. Ditry bedsheets provided everyday, stained towels everyday, broken plugs in the bathrooms (!!!!), no AC, very small pool, broken shower heads, a very aggressive manager. We left before the end of our stay to a different hotel. This place is not safe! Draps sales, literie douteuse, piscine trop petite, equipements a l'abandon, un manager aggressif, prises murales exposees dans les salle de bains!!, draps dechires, Nous avons exige un remboursement de nos frais. Nous avons quittes l'hotel avant la fin de notre sejour. Nous n'etions pas en securite!

The receptionists always seemed preoccupied with other things when we were talking to them - rather than deal with our queries at hand they wandered off, had side conversations or burried their heads in computers without letting us know if they were dealing with our request or doing something else. When we asked for information on airport transfer when we were leaving they seemed uninterested and told us it was not really their problem as we had booked a package holiday elsewhere. We had requested twin beds but ended up in a room with a double bed instead. Never mind, we were prepared to share. After 2 nights of unsatisfactory sleep we noticed that the bed slanted both to one side and to towards the headboard which is why it was so uncomfortable. The buffet became a little repetitive - lunch and dinner seemed to have the same items and there was not much variety day to day either. There was little on offer that was Moroccan, or when there was some included it went quickly to whomever was first in line. There were 2 other restaurants available for dinner reservations although it took a little while for us to figure out how to make the reservation. You also had the option of a late lunch by the pool bar but even if there were not a lot of people around it took over an hour for drinks and food to arrive. Very disorganised. We also used the spa facilities, after a lovely hamam on the first day we booked ourselves in for massages on the last day to end things. When we arrived at the agreed reservation we were informed that they had booked us in 2 hours earlier and there was now nobody available. Misunderstandings can happen, but they gave no apologies or alternatives and dealt with the matter in a very abrupt and rude way. Not the end to the holiday we had hoped for. The hotel was not full at the time of our visit, but there were numerous fights and discussions over sun loungers and parasols and the pool staff did little to intervene other guests removing personal belongings to be able to take the loungers. They even had a heated discussion amongst themselves and threw a strop in front of all the guests. Overall we wished the hotel was a little more organised and attentive to the guests - there was some restaurant staff that did a brilliant job but the experience was soured by others. The room was clean and spacious but the terrible bed and piddly water pressure let things down. Things seemed chaotic, there was no info on entertainment or classes on offer. We had a nice time but if they ironed out some of the ******* it would make it the experience that was promised.
