My girlfriend and I stayed for a few nights and it couldnt have been a better decision! We arrived in the evening and were greeted with the beautfiul dappled light from the traditional lanterns and huge smiles from our host Louis. We stayed in the green room which was incredibly charming, comfy and so well decorated and once we put our stuff down we ventured to the roof to catch the last of the sunset over a quietening Moroccan evening. The place is a short walk to so much goodness, and Louis never fails to recommend the best...Rooftop bars, brunch spots, hidden dinner treasures, best routes to the souks, you name it... although to be honest we rarely ventured out for food as Suleiman and Abla were providing it in-house! Honestly food and service doesn't come much better.. From Pancakes and fruit at breaky to homemade pizzas at lunch, traditional tagine at dinner and sweet treats beyond belief. To sum it up, if your looking for somewhere to feel like home in an awesomely busy, culuraly rich city, then look no futther, Riad Alena for the win...everytime. Thank you Louis, Suleiman and Abla we will be back!
