Loved everything about our stay at the Holiday inn. It was ideal for our stay in between flights. On arrival we received a very warm welcome from Mr Ashwin who gave us an exemplary welcome and great customer service. He was attentive and efficient. The room was spotless clean and well equipped and comfortable. We are looking forward to our next visit. Keep up the good work Holiday Inn staff.

We went to Preskil for our second half of our holidays and stayed 6D5N together with our relatives who stayed in other rooms at the same hotel. We took half board. While amenities and food options were both reasonable quality and varied - we didnt consistently get fruits for dinner. Additionally room service didn’t always refill our daily 2 bottles of water Room itself was generally good with enough power socket, usb sockets too, aircon and a fan. We balcony was facing the seaside - which made our stay pleasant. We could watch the sunrise and also enjoy a cool breeze in the evening

I had a lovely stay at the Veranda Tamarin - the resort, decor, facilities and layout exceeded my expectations. The all inclusive package was very good value for money although it would have been better if there was a wrist band which signified to staff that guests were all inclusive so that we didn't have to continually sign for every drink. At weekends the music and partying from the beach was loud as the property is very nearby and obviously the resort can't control the volume of this however the bar music was also loud and could maybe have stopped at midnight rather than 2am. The restaurant and bar staff were all very friendly and helpful. On the all inclusive package you were able to eat with a subsidy in the a la carte restaurant which was good and you also got money off trips booked through the hotel which was also good value. The spa treatment (massage) I had was disappointing and also overpriced in my view.

Great hotel. Perfect location! The beach in front of the hotel (and the whole Le morne beach) is so stunning. The water is sooo clear and had different shades of blue. We stayed all over the island on our trip but we find Lux Le morne has the most amazing beach with the view of Le morne mountain and when you go out in the sea and look back at the hotel, it’s just so so stunning! The room was also cozy with very comfortable bed. The only bad thing about the room was the hot water in shower sometimes just stopped working (finished) and we had to wait!! There are a lot of sun beds but if you don’t reserve one, they are usually all taken by the afternoon. Breakfast was good. Lots of water activities. The gym was a bit too small and sauna took forever to get heated so we gave up. Service was good. The pools were beautiful with the view of Le morne mountain. Overall, we loved this hotel and enjoyed our stay a lit. This was our most fav hotel in Mauritius and if we ever return, we would stay here again.

As long-serving Riu customers we were interested to experience this newly opened resort in Mauritius and it certainly has many positives. I would have given 5 stars were it not for a few inconsistencies and unnecessary irritations. Our stay began very well and we were greeted warmly by Vikish on reception who was friendly, welcoming and efficient, and his professionalism and excellent customer service continued throughout our holiday. Unfortunately the same could not be said of all of his colleagues on reception, some of whom were unable or unwilling to assist with the considerable difficulties we encountered with the app which seemed to be unfit for purpose, especially when it came to booking the speciality restaurants. After numerous attempts to book on the app in the middle of the night and several visits to reception, we were eventually successful in booking all of the speciality restaurants and enjoyed them immensely. However the whole process was unnecessarily stressful and time consuming. We were given an upgrade to the Elite Club and we were grateful for the benefits this brought with it. Our spacious room was well appointed on the top floor overlooking the Elite Club pool and bar with a wonderful sea view. We thoroughly enjoyed watching all the kite surfers and windsurfers. The friendly housekeeping staff worked hard and the room was always clean and well presented, sometimes with towel sculptures. We also had a turn down service in the evenings. The mini-bar service could have been better though as we frequently had to request refills of basic items such as water and coffee. On one occasion I requested a bottle of water from 3 different members of staff but it never came and I had to go in search of one from a bar so we could clean our teeth. We spent most of our holiday by the Elite Club pool which was quieter than the main pool and there were always plenty of Bali beds available. The pool staff were excellent, keeping the area spotlessly clean and providing towels. The staff in the Elite Club bar were exceptional and soon learned our favourite drinks which they always served with a smile. Thank you Darshinee, Anoop and Lill - you made our holiday and the port and brandies, brandy alexanders and chocolate martinis were perfect! We found the food quality and selection in all the restaurants to be very good, though the hot dishes in the main buffet restaurant were often lukewarm at best, cold at worst. Improvements are needed in this area in order for the dining experience to be more enjoyable. All the restaurant staff were friendly and welcoming and we really felt like valued customers at all times. On a separate note, we would highly recommend the 5 Islands Cataspeed trip which was a brilliant day out. We booked through Arnaud Peka who offers a wide variety of excursions and was very helpful and well organised. Overall we had a great time at the Riu Palace Mauritius and feel sure that once the initial teething problems are ironed

The number one priority shared by every staff member at Salt is to provide superior customer service for their guests and ensure that their needs are met in a beautiful and relaxing environment! Everyone was kind and welcoming which made our stay enjoyable! We loved having easy access to the beaches, as well as the many water activities provided by the hotel. The gentlemen at the boat house were helpful and encouraged us to participate in all of the activities! The beach is very clean with breathtaking views of the clear blue, turquoise water, sunny days and beautiful sunrises/sunsets! The spa, Salt Equilibrium, is very nice! Anju has a fun, carefree personality, and very professional and knowledgeable in regards to massage therapy! The food was good, but my friend and I agreed it is a bit overpriced! Breakfast is made to order! The chocolate praline croissants were my favorite…oh! And chai lattes! Cocktails weren’t our favorite as I believe the bartenders were probably beginners. However, they do have nice wine selections! Overall, our experience was excellent and we would most definitely rebook this hotel again! One recommendation would be to have transportation (motor bike or car) so you’re able to venture off to see other areas of the island! However, the hotel reception would be more than willing to book transportation for you!

It was our 2nd visit to the Sunrise Attitude, it was simply amazing from start to finish. The staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble. Food was excellent with lots of choice, from breakfast to evening dinner. Bars were excellent with a varied range of drinks. Our room was perfect with everything we needed. Staff were exceptional, Emmanuel ( customer manager ) Thankyou for everything that you did to make our stay so perfect. Our anniversary meal was so special , this was down to you. You could not have done anymore to make our stay better. Parina ( reception ) this young lady was exceptional in everything she did for us . Nothing was to much trouble. If we had any questions she had the answers. Kavi ( market ) again this guy could not do enough for us, even brought us some ice cream after our evening meal. Ravi ( social house ) helped make our anniversary meal special, again nothing was to much trouble.

An amazing hotel right on the water with every room facing the water. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. Beautiful big rooms with lovely balconies. The dinner and breakfast were also really good, with a great variety and a lovely outdoor area to sit at. I do however think the cleaning staff need to take a bit more care when cleaning. We were there for 6 nights and 3 of the nights we had to phone housekeeping because we did not have towels, or we did not get toilet paper, or we did not get our bath robes… and then housekeeping took at least 20-30minutes to bring the items. The other thing was that they put a single duvet into a double duvet - so when you are sleeping there are many times when you only have a sheet and no duvet. Maybe change that. Otherwise I really can’t complain about anything. There are plenty of beach chairs and there were always chairs available and it was an amazing and relaxing place.

Arrive at a hotel with endless possibilities - that is the fitting headline for the Lagoon Attitude. The hotel consistently makes a major contribution to preserving the island's ecosystem by doing away with plastic as far as possible. Bottles to fill up with water are provided by the hotel in addition to the water in the room. Coffee can be freshly ground and taken to the room. The minibar can be refilled daily with two soft drinks and two beers in the hotel store fridge. The quality of the food is really very, very good and super fresh, as well as varied. I particularly like the fact that you can use all of the hotel's restaurants free of charge with All Inclusive, reservation required in advance, as there are only limited seats available in each restaurant, but this is by no means a negative, but offers a bit of exclusivity. Our favorite restaurant was the Coral Restaurant, great seafood. Thanks to Pemal, Jonathan and Marcello and a very special thanks to Nitish, who made our stay unforgettable as F&B Manager. Thanks also to Carine, who was always open to guests and suggestions for improvement. The sunset cruise for 2000 rupees is highly recommended, great atmosphere and a catamaran trip with drinks and a great crew is not something you do every day. The range of water sports is outstanding. The rooms were cleaned daily by lovely ladies & everything was provided. Here too, every guest can make a contribution to the environment by not having towels and bed linen changed daily. Many thanks to the Lagoon Attitude and the family members for a wonderful stay
