We had an exceptional stay at this hotel. The location is good and the room was excellent. The breakfast buffet was luxurious with plenty of options. What truly stood out was the outstanding staff, particularly the front desk lady who went above and beyond to accommodate our special requests. Every need was met with professionalism and warmth. The attention to detail and personalized service made our stay memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

Fantastic service even when things don't go quite to plan the reaction to help is 5 star. Food was great and again the service was faultless. Breakfast hot and cold great selection. Boot room ample and secure. easy walk to town and ski bus straight outside to Penken Gondola. Steam room we didn't try because it was mixed and no swimwear! Beds were very comfortable and bathroom modern with fab shower

Hotel Rose is in a great location near the town centre but also very quiet. Breakfast choice was really varied, dinner was lovely every evening, also salad buffet with lots of choice. Pleasant bar area. Comfy beds and great bathroom. We didn't use the spa so unable to comment. Every staff member was helpful and smiley and we would definitely stay at the Rose again if we were in Mayrhofen

If you visit this hotel and are not happy I really recommend you stay at home! From the moment we arrived it started with a room upgrade which was beautifully set! The reception staff were friendly and informative nothing was a problem! Food was brilliant! Remember your not at home! An the staff were excellent! Breakfast time the we lady was amazing at making a fresh omelette an was only to happy to do so! Waiting staff were so friendly and helpful! We will definitely return to this beautiful hotel in this very beautiful valley! Also other reviews are saying no breakfast on the last morning if you have an early flight! RUBBISH this in entirely your own fault for not informing reception staff! As we had 6am departure from hotel and our breakfast bag was prepared and given to us an we truly appreciated and enjoyed it!

This is a fantastic ski hotel. We arrived at 1130, not expecting to check in, to be met by the owner who knew of our flight time and had the room ready for us. Ski locker room, clean and also consistently smelt fresh, you are allocated a heated locker operated with the hotel room key. The hotel is being refurbished I had booked a traditional room so surprised to see the bathroom had been refurbished, it was down to a great level. Communal areas really well kept. In a great central location, tucked a couple of steers back from the Main Street it was quiet every night but right on ski bus route. The food was plentiful with a good variety to chose from for breakfast and dinner. As a vegetarian on the first night the server advised if I didn’t like the veggie option I could order off the main menu (I did this once and there was no additional charge) The team were also very accommodating when we arrived very late for dinner one night. The young male barman was super and helped us with our very limited Austrian. We will stay here again and would recommend without hesitation.

Soon as we arrived we realised we had found a gem! Everything about this hotel is charming, the food was excellent, catering brilliantly for all. The service was 5* we were very well looked after. Great location only yards from the ski bus stop, in a really quiet part of town. Thank you hotel Rose for a wonderful stay

This hotel treats British guests as second class citizens. It is run by a snooty woman; daughter of the previous owner? . Reception is not staffed after 9 so when you have noisy neighbours no one helps. Food was average; buffet constantly overrun and not kept topped up. No gala dinner for special occasions. The room was tiny; bizarrely the bathroom was very nice but only marginally smaller than the room. Despite British tour operators advertising a jacuzzi, that is long gone. It is only saunas; albeit nice, do not be fooled. Owners are horrible.

I've wanted to stay at Hotel Rose for years as I've always walked passed it on previous visits to Mayrhofen. Sadly, it didn't stand up to our expectations. The hotel itself is beautiful, very cosy & clean. The rooms are nice & our en-suite was newly re-furbed. Poor pillows. The service & dinning was beyond disappointing. I have attached pictures to show the food. Photo's tell a thousand words. We were charged for water which I found outrageous, happy to pay for drinks at the bar but didn't expect to be charged for some still water with dinner. Considering we paid for half board our dinner table was only ever half laid for breakfast and dinner meaning my husband and I had to go on the hunt for our own forks. The staff didn't engage, they said good morning but that was it. No warm welcome or questions asking about our stay. Our departure pick up was at 6.15am meaning we needed to be up at 5am to get ready to depart, I asked if there would be breakfast available or a breakfast bag with a drink which is something the hotels in Mayrhofen provide and I was told 'No, but you can pay for one'! Again, I was speechless, we were still guests of their's on our departure day but no breakfast. Sadly, we will not be returning to Hotel Rose & we do not recommend it. The Kramerwirt just a small walk away remains the best hotel in Mayrofen and we highly recommend.

We stayed 5 nights at the Rose Hotel and were accommodated in a Rosalia room on half board. Our room was lovely, very modern, big with a fabulous shower and a separate WC. We had a good sized balcony at the front of the hotel with great views to the Penkenbahn lift. Breakfast was very good, can't fault it at all. Evening meals were OK nothing to get excited about but nothing to complain about. The only negative is the speed at which dinners are served. No sooner has one course been removed, the next is put in front of you. Considering the table is 'yours' for the evening (and at breakfast) it did seem the staff wanted you in and out quickly. The hotel is spotlessly clean, in a great location and has entertainment a few times a week. We did find it lacked atmosphere and was efficient rather than friendly. Having said that Amelia in the dining room was charming and would always stop and ask after our day. A real credit to the hotel team. Would we stay again... Yes
